Civiltà extraterrestri evolute e paradosso di Fermi
La Terra in un buco radiofonico. 42'777 civiltà extraterrestri vogliono parlare con noi. Perché nessun alieno ci ha ancora contattato, nonostante la vastità dell'universo? I ricercatori cinesi ritengono di conoscere la risposta.
Solo nella nostra galassia, la Via Lattea, ci sono probabilmente centinaia di miliardi di pianeti. Almeno su alcuni di essi, la vita deve essersi sviluppata come sulla Terra. Ma perché l'umanità non ha mai sentito parlare di questi extraterrestri?
La questione è affrontata dal famoso Paradosso di Fermi, che descrive la discrepanza tra l'apparente probabilità statistica di vita extraterrestre e la completa assenza di prove in tal senso.
A quando il primo contatto non cinematografico con gli extraterrestri? Nella foto una giovanissima Drew Barrymore nel film ormai diventato un cult «E.T. - L'extraterrestre» di Steven Spielberg del 1982.
Wenjie Song e He Gao dell'Università Normale di Pechino ritengono ora di aver trovato una risposta. Hanno fatto dei modelli di calcolo su quante civiltà extraterrestri potrebbero esserci nella Via Lattea e quando potrebbero entrare in contatto con noi.
Gli alieni devono avere mezzi di comunicazione
Perché non basta che gli alieni siano intelligenti come gli umani. Devono anche avere la tecnologia per inviare qualche tipo di segnale radio, in modo da poter essere ascoltati dal resto della galassia. Solo in quel caso si parla di «civiltà intelligenti extraterrestri comunicanti», o, in maniera abbreviata e più famigliare, di CETI.
I ricercatori hanno utilizzato la distribuzione delle stelle, la loro formazione e il numero di pianeti nella loro zona abitabile per calcolare la quantità di CETI nella Via Lattea. Poiché i parametri sono molto speculativi, i risultati del calcolo del modello presentano un'ampia gamma.
Tendenza all'autodistruzione?
Nell'ipotesi ottimistica, i ricercatori ipotizzano che 42.777 CETI siano esistiti, esistano attualmente o esisteranno finché esisterà la Via Lattea. Nell'ipotesi pessimistica, ci sono solo 111 CETI. Inoltre, due CETI devono esistere più o meno nello stesso periodo perché uno venga a conoscenza dell'altro.
Una teoria popolare è che le civiltà presumibilmente intelligenti abbiano un'emivita relativamente breve e la tendenza ad autodistruggersi attraverso guerre o distruzione ambientale una volta raggiunto un certo livello tecnologico.
Di conseguenza, su scala cosmica, il periodo di tempo in cui una civiltà potrebbe inviare o ricevere segnali è estremamente breve.
Ancora 1900 anni di pazienza
Nel modello ottimistico, la ricezione di una trasmissione extraterrestre è prevista entro 2000 anni da quando saremo diventati una civiltà comunicativa. Poiché l'umanità è in grado di inviare e ricevere segnali radio solo da poco meno di 100 anni, non sarebbe quindi sorprendente, anche in questa ipotesi ottimistica, che non abbiamo ancora avuto notizie dagli alieni.
Nell'ipotesi pessimistica, con solo 111 CETI nella Via Lattea, la ricezione di un segnale dalla parte di E.T. sarebbe statisticamente prevista solo dopo 400.000 anni. In questo caso, l'umanità avrebbe quindi bisogno di un respiro molto lungo.

Ascoltare lo spazio per segnali di intelligenze extraterrestri
Tutti in cerca di ET, i risultati preliminari della campagna crowd-souced di UC Berkeley per ventun anni di Seti@home. Dal 1999 al 2020 milioni di persone hanno messo a disposizione i loro computer per analizzare i segnali radio dell’Osservatorio di Arecibo alla ricerca di civiltà extraterrestri. Due articoli della University of California-Berkeley, pubblicati quest’estate su The Astronomical Journal, riportano i risultati del progetto
Per 21 anni, tra il 1999 e il 2020, milioni di persone in tutto il mondo hanno “prestato” i loro computer ai ricercatori della University of California-Berkeley per cercare tracce di civiltà intelligenti nella nostra galassia. Il progetto, chiamato Seti@home, dal nome ‘Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence’ (Seti), è stato una delle attività di crowdsourcing più popolari agli albori di Internet. I partecipanti al progetto hanno scaricato il software Seti@home sui loro computer di casa per analizzare i dati registrati dall’ormai defunto radiotelescopio di Arecibo a Porto Rico. L’obiettivo era la ricerca di segnali radio dallo spazio riconducibili a tecnofirme: prove di tecnologie passate o presenti create da forme di vita intelligente.
Il progetto fu lanciato il 17 maggio 1999 dalla University of California-Berkeley. Già appena dopo pochi giorni 200mila persone da oltre cento paesi avevano scaricato il software. Un anno dopo contava due milioni di utenti. Nel corso del progetto, un’area pari a circa un terzo dell’intero cielo fu osservata da Porto Rico 12 o più volte, con alcune regioni perlustrate centinaia o anche migliaia di volte.

In totale, queste analisi hanno prodotto 12 miliardi di rilevazioni – «segnali momentanei a una particolare frequenza provenienti da un particolare punto del cielo», come spiega l’informatico e co-fondatore del progetto David Anderson. Dopo dieci anni di lavoro, il team di Seti@home ha ora terminato l’analisi di queste rilevazioni, selezionando inizialmente circa un milione di segnali “candidati”. Di questi, circa un centinaio sono stati ritenuti sufficientemente interessanti da meritare una seconda revisione.
Dal luglio scorso, i membri del progetto hanno poi puntato il radiotelescopio cinese Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope (Fast) verso i segnali più degni di nota nella speranza di vederli di nuovo. Sebbene i dati di Fast non siano stati ancora analizzati, Anderson già ha detto di non aspettarsi la rilevazione di segnali extraterrestri. Tuttavia i risultati del progetto Seti@home, presentati in due articoli pubblicati quest’estate su The Astronomical Journal, offrono spunti di riflessione per le ricerche future e indicano potenziali difetti negli studi in corso.
Secondo l’astronomo e direttore del progetto Eric Korpela, ricerche come Seti@home faranno emergere inevitabilmente miliardi di possibili segnali. La sfida per i ricercatori è lo sviluppo di algoritmi che cancellino i segnali spuri causati da rumore o da interferenze radio d’origine terrestre senza eliminare le tracce effettive di una potenziale civiltà lontana. Per affrontare questo problema, Anderson e Korpela hanno predisposto una sorta di test in cieco inserendo nella loro pipeline di dati circa tremila falsi “segnali ET”, chiamati birdies, che simulano possibili trasmissioni da intelligenze extraterrestri. Il concetto è semplice: se la pipeline scopre questi birdie, senza scambiarli per interferenze radio da eliminare, ci sono buone possibilità che possa scoprire anche un analogo segnale ET “vero”.
Ma come potrebbe essere fatto un “segnale ET vero”? Quasi tutte le ricerche odierne, sottolinea Korpela a questo proposito, presumono che una civiltà extraterrestre impieghi molta potenza in una banda di frequenza stretta per attirare l’attenzione di altre civiltà, per poi inviare informazioni o dati tramite una frequenza a banda larga adiacente. Per aumentare le probabilità di essere rilevato, si ipotizza che il segnale possa trovarsi intorno a una frequenza alla quale gli astronomi osserverebbero l’universo, per esempio attorno alla lunghezza d’onda radio di 21 centimetri usata per mappare l’idrogeno nella galassia.
Come è stata condotta l’analisi dei dati
Il software di Seti@home ha preso i dati dei segnali radio da Arecibo (frequenza, intensità, posizione in cielo) e li ha rielaborati tramite calcoli matematici. Dato che la Terra si muove, così come una probabile sorgente del segnale radio, il software ha analizzato le osservazioni per individuare spostamenti di frequenza, chiamati Doppler drift.

«Per tener conto di ogni possibilità, abbiamo dovuto considerare un’ampia gamma tassi di drift – decine di migliaia», spiega Anderson. «Questo moltiplica per diecimila anche la potenza di calcolo di cui abbiamo bisogno. Il fatto di avere a disposizione un milione di personal computer ci ha permesso di farlo. Nessun altro progetto radio Seti è stato in grado di farlo».
I 12 miliardi di segnali interessanti identificati dai computer dei volontari che hanno preso parte al progetto dovevano poi essere sottoposti a verifiche. Questa analisi ha richiesto un centro di calcolo con una grande quantità di spazio di archiviazione e memoria, fornito dal Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics di Hannover, in Germania. Il supercomputer ha permesso di eliminare interferenze radio e rumore, riducendo – come dicevamo – miliardi di rilevazioni a circa due milioni di segnali candidati. Una volta classificati in base alla potenzialità di essere reali, i primi mille sono stati esaminati manualmente. Si è così ristretto il campo a circa cento segnali. Questi sono stati puntati dal radiotelescopio Fast, con una registrazione di circa 15 minuti per ciascun punto del cielo. Fast ha un’area di raccolta circa 8 volte superiore a quella di Arecibo. L’analisi finale di questi segnali deve ancora essere completata, ma i due articoli pubblicati la scorsa estate, dice Anderson, «rappresentano le importanti conclusioni di Seti@home».
Dunque nessun segnale da parte di intelligenze extraterrestri. Secondo Anderson il progetto è comunque andato ben oltre le aspettative iniziali. «Quando stavamo progettando Seti@home», ricorda, «abbiamo cercato di decidere se ne valesse la pena, se avremmo avuto abbastanza potenza di calcolo per fare davvero nuova scienza. I nostri calcoli si basavano sull’assunzione di 50mila volontari. In poco tempo, ne abbiamo avuti un milione. È stato fantastico, e vorrei far sapere a quella comunità e al mondo che abbiamo effettivamente fatto un po’ di scienza».

Un recente studio del telescopio CHIME raddoppia il numero di Fast Radio Burst ripetitivi conosciuti. E se non fossero stelle che esplodono, ma i motori di un’autostrada galattica?
Nello spazio profondo, qualcosa sta "urlando". Non una volta sola, come l'ultimo grido di una stella che muore, ma ripetutamente. Con costanza. Come un faro che spazza il buio dell'oceano, o forse, come un segnale che cerca una risposta.
Una recente pubblicazione scientifica, apparsa sugli archivi della Cornell University e firmata dalla collaborazione CHIME/FRB, ha scosso la comunità astronomica annunciando la scoperta di 25 nuove sorgenti di Fast Radio Burst (FRB) ripetitivi. Fino a ieri, questi fenomeni erano per lo più considerati eventi singoli e catastrofici. Oggi, con questo nuovo catalogo, la prospettiva cambia radicalmente, riaprendo una porta che la scienza tende a tenere socchiusa con estrema cautela: quella delle tecnofirme extraterrestri.
La Prova della Sopravvivenza
Per anni, gli astronomi hanno captato lampi radio ultra-veloci provenienti da miliardi di anni luce di distanza. La teoria dominante era semplice: due stelle di neutroni si scontrano, o una stella collassa in un buco nero. Boom. Un lampo immane, e poi il silenzio eterno. La sorgente è distrutta.
Ma i dati presentati dal telescopio canadese CHIME raccontano una storia diversa. Queste 25 nuove sorgenti non sono morte. Continuano a trasmettere. Hanno "sopravvissuto" al loro stesso segnale. Questo semplice fatto è il carburante principale per l'ipotesi più affascinante e controversa: l'origine artificiale.
Se un segnale si ripete, implica un macchinario (naturale o artificiale) che opera ciclicamente. Se guardiamo questi dati con gli occhi della speculazione scientifica, non vediamo esplosioni caotiche, ma un'operatività.
L'Ipotesi delle Vele Solari
Perché una civiltà dovrebbe inviare segnali radio così potenti da essere sentiti attraverso l'universo? È uno spreco di energia colossale per una semplice telefonata. Ma c'è una teoria, sostenuta in passato anche da fisici di Harvard, che trova in questi nuovi dati un terreno fertile: la propulsione.
Immaginiamo una civiltà di "Tipo II" o "III", capace di sfruttare l'energia della propria stella o della propria galassia. Non userebbero razzi chimici per viaggiare. Potrebbero usare gigantesche vele solari, spinte non dal vento, ma da fasci di energia mirati (laser o microonde) di potenza inaudita.
Secondo questa interpretazione, i 25 "ripetitori" scoperti da CHIME non sarebbero messaggi per noi. Sarebbero il "leakage", la dispersione di energia di questi fasci propulsivi che, occasionalmente, intersecano la Terra mentre spingono vascelli cargo interstellari attraverso la loro galassia. La regolarità complessa osservata nello studio non sarebbe rumore, ma la firma ingegneristica del fascio di energia.
Il Ritorno alla Realtà
Tuttavia, come ogni buon investigatore del cosmo, dobbiamo guardare anche l'altra faccia della medaglia. Lo studio CHIME/FRB Discovery of 25 Repeating Fast Radio Burst Sources è rigoroso e, nelle sue conclusioni, non parla di alieni.
I dati indicano che queste sorgenti hanno una "Measure of Dispersion" (misura di dispersione) elevata, confermando che provengono da distanze cosmologiche estreme, ben oltre la nostra Via Lattea. L'energia necessaria per produrre un singolo lampo di pochi millisecondi è paragonabile a quella che il nostro Sole produce in giorni, se non mesi.
La spiegazione più probabile, secondo gli autori e la maggior parte della comunità astrofisica, rimane legata alle Magnetar: stelle di neutroni con campi magnetici così potenti da deformare la realtà atomica. I lampi ripetuti sarebbero "terremoti stellari" sulla crosta di questi oggetti o brillamenti magnetici estremi.
Inoltre, lo studio suggerisce un dettaglio che potrebbe smontare l'unicità dei ripetitori: forse tutti gli FRB si ripetono, ma i nostri telescopi non sono ancora abbastanza sensibili o pazienti per vederli tutti. Se così fosse, l'evento diventerebbe una caratteristica universale della vita delle stelle, togliendo spazio all'ipotesi tecnologica.
Siamo soli? Questi 25 nuovi segnali non ci danno ancora una risposta definitiva (il sì), ma ci dicono sicuramente dove guardare. Che si tratti di fari di navigazione di un impero galattico o dei violenti spasmi di stelle morte, il telescopio CHIME ci ha appena fornito 25 nuove coordinate verso l'ignoto. E nell'ignoto, l'ipotesi più straordinaria rimane sempre, almeno teoricamente, sul tavolo.

Individuata l’origine di un lampo radio veloce, trovata la posizione precisa grazie alla scintillazione. Utilizzando i dati del radiotelescopio Chime, in Canada, gli scienziati del Mit hanno individuato le origini di un lampo radio veloce, Frb 20221022, probabilmente emerso dalla magnetosfera turbolenta attorno a una stella di neutroni in una galassia a 200 milioni di anni luce da noi. Il burst sembra provenire da una regione estremamente piccola, con un diametro di circa 10mila chilometri.
I lampi radio veloci – in inglese fast radio burst (Frb) – sono brevi e brillanti esplosioni di onde radio emesse da oggetti estremamente compatti, come stelle di neutroni e forse buchi neri. Questi fugaci fuochi d’artificio durano appena un millesimo di secondo e possono trasportare un’enorme quantità di energia, sufficiente a sovrastare la luminosità di intere galassie.
Da quando è stato scoperto il primo fast radio burst nel 2007, gli astronomi ne hanno rilevati migliaia, la cui posizione varia dall’interno della Galassia fino a 8 miliardi di anni luce di distanza. Nonostante ne siano stati scoperti così tanti, il modo in cui avvengono è ancora oggetto di diatribe.
Ora, gli astronomi del Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Mit) hanno individuato le origini di almeno un fast radio burst utilizzando una tecnica innovativa che potrebbe risultare promettente anche per altri Frb. Nel nuovo studio, pubblicato il primo gennaio sulla rivista Nature, il team si è concentrato su Frb 20221022A, un fast radio burst già conosciuto e rilevato in una galassia distante circa 200 milioni di anni luce.
In particolare, il team si è focalizzato sulla determinazione della posizione precisa del segnale radio analizzando la sua scintillazione, un fenomeno simile a quello per cui le stelle sembrano sfavillare nel cielo notturno. Gli scienziati hanno studiato le variazioni di luminosità dell’Frb e hanno stabilito che il burst deve aver avuto origine nelle immediate vicinanze della sorgente, piuttosto che molto più lontano, come previsto da alcuni modelli.
Il team stima che Frb 20221022A sia esploso da una regione estremamente vicina a una stella di neutroni rotante, a una distanza massima di 10mila chilometri, meno della distanza tra New York e Singapore. A distanza così ravvicinata, l’esplosione è probabilmente emersa dalla magnetosfera della stella di neutroni, una regione altamente magnetica che circonda la stella ultracompatta. «In questi ambienti delle stelle di neutroni, i campi magnetici sono davvero ai limiti di ciò che l’universo può produrre», spiega Kenzie Nimmo del Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Space Research, primo autore dello studio. «Si è molto discusso sul fatto che questa emissione radio luminosa possa anche solo sfuggire da quel plasma estremo».
«Intorno a queste stelle di neutroni altamente magnetiche, note anche come magnetar, gli atomi non possono esistere: verrebbero semplicemente fatti a pezzi dai campi magnetici», spiega Kiyoshi Masui, professore associato di fisica al Mit.
«La cosa eccitante è che abbiamo scoperto che l’energia immagazzinata in quei campi magnetici, vicino alla sorgente, si sta torcendo e riconfigurando in modo tale da poter essere rilasciata sotto forma di onde radio che possiamo vedere attraverso l’universo».
I rilevamenti di lampi radio veloci sono aumentati negli ultimi anni grazie al Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment (Chime). L’array di radiotelescopi comprende quattro grandi semi-cilindri di 100 x 20 metri su cui sono installati 1024 ricevitori radio a doppia polarizzazione sensibili alle frequenze tra 400-800 MHz. Dal 2020, Chime ha rilevato migliaia di Frb provenienti da tutto l’universo.

Sebbene gli scienziati siano generalmente d’accordo sul fatto che i burst provengano da oggetti estremamente compatti, la fisica esatta che guida gli Frb non è chiara. Alcuni modelli prevedono che i fast radio burst provengano dalla magnetosfera turbolenta che circonda un oggetto compatto, mentre altri prevedono che i burst abbiano origine molto più lontano, come parte di un’onda d’urto che si propaga lontano dall’oggetto centrale.
Per distinguere i due scenari e determinare dove nascono i fast radio burst, il team ha preso in considerazione la scintillazione, ovvero l’effetto che si verifica quando la luce di una sorgente puntiforme, come una stella, passa attraverso un mezzo, come il gas di una galassia, e viene deflessa in modo da apparire, a un osservatore distante, come se la stella stesse scintillando. Più un oggetto è piccolo o lontano, più scintilla. La luce di oggetti più grandi o più vicini, come i pianeti del Sistema solare, subisce una deflessione minore e quindi non sembra scintillare.
Il team ha pensato che se si potesse stimare il grado di scintillazione di un Frb, si potrebbe determinare la dimensione relativa della regione da cui il lampo ha avuto origine. Più piccola è la regione, più il burst è vicino alla sua sorgente e più è probabile che provenga da un ambiente magneticamente turbolento. Più grande è la regione, più lontano sarebbe il burst, a sostegno dello scenario secondo il quale gli Frb derivano da onde d’urto lontane.
Ed ecco che entra in gioco Frb 20221022A, il veloce burst radio rilevato da Chime nel 2022. Il segnale dura circa due millisecondi ed è un Frb relativamente comune, in termini di luminosità. Tuttavia, un gruppo di collaboratori della McGill University ha scoperto che Frb 20221022A presentava una proprietà particolare: la luce del burst era altamente polarizzata, con l’angolo di polarizzazione che tracciava una curva regolare a forma di S.
Questo fatto è stato interpretato come la prova che il burst è altamente polarizzato e che il sito di emissione dell’Frb sta ruotando, una caratteristica precedentemente osservata nelle pulsar, stelle di neutroni altamente magnetizzate e in rotazione.
La presenza di una polarizzazione simile nei fast radio burst è una novità assoluta, che suggerisce che il segnale possa provenire da regioni molto vicine alla stella di neutroni. I risultati del team della McGill sono riportati in un articolo di accompagnamento pubblicato su Nature.
A questo punto, il team del Mit ha intuito che, attraverso l’eventuale rilevamento di una scintillazione, sarebbe stato possibile verificare se l’Frb 20221022A avesse avuto origine nelle vicinanze di una stella di neutroni. E così è stato: nel loro nuovo studio, Nimmo e i suoi colleghi hanno individuato nei dati di Chime forti variazioni di luminosità indicative di una scintillazione. Hanno confermato la presenza di gas tra il telescopio e l’Frb, capace di deviare e filtrare le onde radio.
Analizzando la posizione di questo gas, il team ha stabilito che parte della scintillazione osservata era attribuibile al gas presente nella galassia ospite dell’Frb. Questo gas, agendo come una lente naturale, ha permesso ai ricercatori di “ingrandire” il sito di origine dell’Frb e di determinare che il burst proveniva da una regione estremamente piccola, con un diametro di circa 10mila chilometri.
«È molto vicino», afferma Nimmo. «Per fare un paragone, se il segnale provenisse da un’onda d’urto, ci aspetteremmo di trovarci a oltre decine di milioni di chilometri di distanza e non vedremmo alcuna scintillazione».
«Fare uno zoom su una regione di 10mila chilometri, da una distanza di 200 milioni di anni luce, è come poter misurare la larghezza di un’elica di Dna, che è larga circa 2 nanometri, sulla superficie della Luna», aggiunge Masui.
Questi risultati, combinati con quelli del team McGill, escludono la possibilità che Frb 20221022A sia emerso dalle zone più periferiche di un oggetto compatto. Al contrario, gli studi dimostrano per la prima volta che i fast radio burst possono avere origine molto vicino a una stella di neutroni, in ambienti magnetici altamente caotici.
«Il modello tracciato dall’angolo di polarizzazione era così sorprendentemente simile a quello osservato dalle pulsar nella nostra galassia, la Via Lattea, che inizialmente abbiamo temuto che la sorgente non fosse in realtà un Frb ma una pulsar classificata in modo errato», afferma Ryan Mckinven, coautore dello studio della McGill University.
«Fortunatamente, queste preoccupazioni sono state messe a tacere con l’aiuto dei dati raccolti da un telescopio ottico che ha confermato che l’Frb ha avuto origine in una galassia distante milioni di anni luce».
«La polarimetria è uno dei pochi strumenti che abbiamo per sondare queste sorgenti lontane», conclude Mckinven. «Questo risultato probabilmente ispirerà studi successivi su un comportamento simile in altri Frb e stimolerà gli sforzi teorici per riconciliare le differenze nei loro segnali polarizzati».

The previous examples show that the sun creation data and its position in the sky are defined based on accurate mathematical calculations- but why? and what's the useful result of these data proportionalities

This question is answered by my planet diameter equation- the equation proves that the planet diameter is defined based on this planet velocity- for example- Neptune diameter is 49528 km because Neptune velocity is 5.4 km/s that shows the change in velocity can change the diameter (my planet diameter equation proves that strongly) and based on that, the sun diameter is effected by the sun velocity and vice versa for that reason these proportionalities are necessary to guarantee the sun point of space to be (1 km/s) and never be faster.

Means if the sun moves by 2 km/s, the sun will rotate around its axis one complete rotation in 25.4 days
This data should be a proof for my theory- because the sun real data shows its velocity is 2 km/s

The solar system geometrical design supposes the velocity of the sun is 1 km/s but the real velocity is 2 km/s – it is NOT small change in Value – it's a great change in the whole machine- but the machine still can produce a light beam spite of that
And to produce the light beam- the machine has to depend on (2 seconds) in place of (1 second) and for that the planets have to move a distance = (180000 million km) in place of the required distance (90000 million km)
because the required rate is (90000 million km per second) which is (C^2)

There are three major critics against this theory

This fact puzzles the scientists (because they believe the sun rays is created by the sun nuclear fusion theory)

Means- while the unified wave (205.8 km/s) moves a period 1461 seconds and passes a distance = 300000 km but the sun clock sees the consumed period as (one second) and by that the sun sees a distance = 300000 km is passed in a period one second and that creates different velocity = 300000 km/s = speed of light = C

The increasing of the different velocity depends on the rates of time and Does Not use the usual acceleration process (as electron acceleration in lab)- means- the final speed (300000 km/s = speed of light) is achieved directly without graduation-

The unified wave velocity (205.8 km/s) is NOT increased gradually as to be (300 – 500- 800 – 2000 km/s) this graduation is NOT used to increase the unified wave velocity- because- the energy is added based on rates of time- let's use example-
The solar system rate of time tells (one hour of Mercury = 24 hours of any planet) this rate means- while one hour passes in Mercury clock, the planets clocks pass one solar day and the planets motions distances total equal 17.75 million km in this period of time – BUT- Saturn in the same period of time moves a distance = 20.1 million km

Let's give example to explain this idea
Imagine we create A Sea Of Water- we use energy to create this sea of water- now we have some energy and we use this energy to create this sea of water- BUT- our energy is NOT spent completely But there's a small part still rest with us – this small part of energy is used to create one wave moves through this sea and this wave speed is 300000 km/s (I suppose the space is similar to the sea of water)
