Going for your (Un)Becoming in the fic ask game if you please.

The whole entire chapter for Walt was pretty much why I started the story. “What if Jim wasn’t the Trollhunter, but what if Walt met Barbara anyway,” was the question I had in my head the entire time. If I had to pick one scene though, it would probably be the fight scene with Jim:

"The Killahead Bridge," Jim practically growled.

Walt's stomach dropped. The glares, the bad attitude, the moodiness. He had known that Jim's change in behavior was something more than met the eye, but he had tried to ignore it for Barbara's sake. He attempted to deflect. "Killa-what?" He glanced down as he cleared his throat and saw a knife in the box. Oh no, he couldn't do that.

"I know you're a changeling."

"What?"

Oh, look, he had no other alternative.
