So at church on Sunday, the youth pastor was teaching us stuff on temptation. We got slightly off topic when he decided to tell us an interesting story about his friend’s mom.

She went to another country on mission work and was forced into a dark alley by a man. His intent was to rape and mug her, so she attempted to quote Psalms 91:4, “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” But when she tried to say them out loud, all that came out was “FEATHERS!” “FEATHERS!!” “FEATHERS!!” She proceded to scream “FEATHERS!” until the man left, very confused.
