It’s been such a long time…. but this time we’re finally on the same side of the net.
I want to say thank you so much to the laver cup and these two legends. Thank you for teaching us what a great rivalry is like, thank you for always being honest and respectful. What a sport it is to have these two great friends as its biggest rivalry. As a long time tennis fan, I have dreamed of this moment ever since I was a kid in front of the tv at 2 am in the morning watching the Wimbledon final of 2008. I can tell you I have not regretted anything, for every second of it was worth the wait.
Winning feels fantastic.
