listen I love cdth but I really wish we could have had the same artist do the covers as the raven cycle. my expectations were set so high after seeing those, the covers of the original series are some of best I've seen in YA
these are other works by Adam S Doyle (who did the covers for trb, tdt, bllb and trk)
1. seriously look at this I want it on my wall
2. this is probably my favourite of his omg
3. I'm sorry can you IMAGINE walking into a bookstore for a copy of cdth and seeing something like THIS on the cover
anyways I feel cheated
I’m feeling a bit betrayed by this show. As someone who supports and stans a good amount of underrated kpop groups I really liked the idea of this show. This show was supposedly made to help debuted idols who haven’t reached their full potential and are in search of a second chance yet I saw some things that kinda rubbed me the wrong way. On the first episode a 19-year old actor who has NO singing or dancing talent got in simply because of his cuteness. Let me ask you, is he an idol who has been forgotten or has lost popularity and needs help with his singing career? No, he’s a rookie actor who can’t sing or dance, what is he doing on an idol reboot show? Also a 13-year old TRAINEE got in!!! Let me ask you, why does a 13-year old trainee need to be on a show that was created for DEBUTED idols who need help reviving their careers? She’s really talented, I won’t take that from her, but this show is for debuted idols who need help with their careers, why doesn’t she go on a kpop debut show or something? Other talented idols like Boyfriend and many others who have debuted and really needed this show were rejected yet others who didn’t fit the theme were accepted. Why create an idol reboot show if your contestants aren’t going to be idols who need to be rebooted?
Just finished Raphael: Mutant Apocalypse.
Real Talk
It’s been 3 days since I learned that my ex was cheating on me. I don’t know for how long but I’m pretty sure she’s been fooling me the entire time. I fell for every single lie, the manipulation… the hurt… I am so angry. Did she seriously think I wouldn’t find out eventually??? I’m just glad I found out sooner than later. I know now to always go with my gut rather than to just believe that things will work and that everything will be okay. Because friends, life is not okay if things seem weird. You want everything to just be okay with all the lies and sneaking around and narcissism. Because I always thought I was doing something wrong, when I wasn’t. Isn’t that crazy though because usually it’s females who have to deal with this shit… and here I am. Dealing with this shit. I gave it my all and I put so much effort into everything we had and I believed her over everything else… and I was proved wrong. My worth is so much more than that, and I know that. However, my standards were a hell of a lot lower than what they are now.
Y’all I’m telling you if Shit is iffy, don’t work so hard for it. Don’t fall for the bullshit. Don’t do what I did and get yourself hurt. Because you are worth all the things you want in anything in life. Believe that.
