I'd still consider myself new to the HxH fandom, but one theory/headcanon that I'd like to be true is Feitan actually being a Zoldyck...like if he was an illegitimate son of either Kikyo or Silva and was dumped in Meteor City so he wouldn't taint the family name.

Valentine's Amusement Park date with Feitan

soulmate au: Taste the things your soulmate is eating/drinking. 

- It was Valentine’s day and the Phantom troupe decided this was the perfect day to go to an amusement park! Feitan gets dragged along with the rest of the group.

- When he arrives he is mildly irritated by the throngs of people. But the troupe seems excited and they queue up for a rollercoaster. They take turns assassinating people to reduce the length of the queue

- When they finally reach the ride, the conductor makes Feitan stand next to a smiling cardboard cut out and declares that he is too short to ride the rollercoaster. Feitan unsheathes his sword but Chrollo is quick to intervene and tell him to go wait by the fountain.  

- Grumbling, Feitan agrees. That’s where you see him. A 5 feet tall wonder, leaning by the fountain, dressed in all black. You part from your group of friends to go over and talk to him. “Hey kid, where are your parents?” you ask him. It really wasn’t safe for such a small child to be hanging out all by himself.

- Feitan looks at you with such rage that his eyes begin to water a little. You mistake them for tears. “Aw you poor thing. You must be so scared. Here, do you want a snackie?” you ask pulling out a small container made of cookies you baked yourself

- “No,” he grits out. Feitan’s grip on his sword tightens but before he can dismember you, you pop the cookie in your mouth. “Suit yourself, then.” you reply. As soon as your tongue hits the cookie, Feitan’s mouth bursts with indescribable sweetness. He looks at you with awe in his eyes. “You- You’re my soulmate.” 

- You giggle and pat the little delusional kid’s head. “Aw, what a cute kid.” Feitan frowns and grabs a cookie shoving it into his own mouth to prove his point. When you taste the same flavor again your eyes widen in realization. 

- You look down at the small man before you, “Please tell me you’re not a kid.” Feitan smirks, “I’m 28. Probably older than you.” Your face colors in embarrassment but Feitan is happy to put the past behind. You both go on a lovely amusement park date while avoiding any rides with height restrictions :)

Period Comfort Headcanon

Feitan x Reader

The reader's gender is not specified but they are afab

We will start with my favorite comfort serial killer for this as this is self-indulgent. If it wasn't clear my comfort murderer is Feitan. Just as a side note, when I am on my period it feels as if I was written by a white guy using basic period tropes, so sorry if that shows through. Also as a fair warning, I was using some herbal pain killer so if this reads like it is written by someone who is stoned, that is because it is.

The headcanon that was never meant to be a headcanon.

You would think Feitan would be hard to scare since he is a proficient torturer and member of the most infamous gang. However, you on your period is the most terrifying thing to him.

He would never want to hurt you because he does care about you, even though he has a hard time showing it in conventional ways. So seeing you in a sensitive state hurts him and he is terrified of saying/doing the wrong thing for fear of making it worse.

Though it never crosses his mind that walking circles around you is just as bad. Feitan is trained to pick up on tone shifts and subtle facial expressions but when it comes to you, all of that goes out the window.

He will not see you yearning for cuddles or conversation, which then leads you to lash out more. He does eventually catch on though.

The fridge and freezer are stalked. He has chocolate, ice cream, wine, and your pain killer of choice.

Also, Feitan is your own personal heating pad as he is always extremely warm to the touch. (he can practically summon the sun there is no way he feels cold, that isn't how math works lol).

He has adapted you to lay in your lap while watching movies and lounging. Loves when you scratch his scalp

Even though he is not the most physically affectionate, he will let down that barrier for when you are on your period. You need cuddles, you are getting cuddles.

His skills in torture also give him the knowledge of a masseuse. Feitan's backrubs are the best, he knows how to bring pain to his victims and the most relaxing massages to you.

However, a point of contention between you will be the sleeping situation, it isn't because he is scared of getting blood on the sheets, trust me he can get the blood out. Rather it is because you tend to shift a lot more in your sleep when you are on your period and he is a very light sleeper.

So having a sleep-deprived feitan and your heightened emotions do not make for a good combination. That being said, if you stick to calm activities it lowers the risk factor.

Backtracking to bloody sheets, the first time you accidentally bled on the sheets he thought you were injured and proceeds to wake you up and evaluate your body for any scratches.

Baths, he will run you a bubble bath on the worse day of your period as he knows standing to take a shower may be too much.

Eventually, he will memorize what sanitary product you use, but he has no knowledge of any of it. You could ask him to get a vagina vacuum, he will look for it after asking what size and brand you wanted.

Feitan will threaten an associate to find it too.

The first time he bought period products he bought a bunch of other weird things too, but now he will buy them with condoms and make direct eye contact with the cashier, like a sociopath.

I guess I never covered period sex, he's down if you're down feitan, clearly, isn't afraid of a little blood. But he will very careful with you during the process.

Big on praise during this time, just really soft.

Also, he knows that sex is one of the best ways to calm period cramps. (fun fact for you uterus owners).

I feel like he would try to make you laugh a lot more too.

His sense of humor is quite dry and sarcastic, but during these sensitive times he will put in extra effort to see your face lit up with a smile.

Feitan knows what movies/shows to queue up for a night in. He has the popcorn, wine, and blankets for you too.

Even though he is quite awkward in the beginning he does adapt and becomes an asset to your period survival kit.

I hope when I wake up tomorrow I don't get embarrassed by this.

-His crush is most likely strong or soon-to-be strong (as that is usually the reason his attention is grabbed)

-At first, he would always bug them, wanting to fight to the death or some shit

-Then once they get hurt somehow, he is just like “why do I not want them to die?”

-After that, he would hang around them. Certain things would turn him on more the usual and as such he would probably try to initiate the do

-If after a few months and they still show no interest he would either become uninterested or more obsessive

Illumi

-All he knows is that he wants his crush for himself so he would try to control every aspect of their life

-This includes determining which friends they can have (and if they don’t listen he will just kill the friends), being around them constantly and determining their dieting choices, and picking what clothes they can keep (especially if his crush tends to show some skin, ye know?)

-If worse comes to worse, he will just kidnap them and force them to be in a relationship with him via torture and annoying mama dearest

Chrollo

-Even if he has a crush on someone he will still act the same

-This entails philosophical discussions, discussing any valuables that are up for auction soon, talking about a certain book, and much more!

-In all seriousness though, unless he has a mission in mind for the spiders he is pretty drab. Even with his crush.

-After a while of knowing his crush, he would behave in a more gentle or kind manner (but not much different)

Phinks

-He is so easily flustered, if his crush even accidentally made physical contact with him he would be a blushing mess

-Phinks tries to be more gentle with them (instinctually)

-He isn’t really sure about his own feelings, but after Feitan teases him once seeing the two together and how Phinks behaves around his crush, he realizes that he behaves differently and he will ponder that (a few days of pondering leads him to realize that he likes his crush quite a bit)

-He’d be chill with walking around with his crush, just sightseeing ye know?

-It would take him forever to confess though since he’d be too embarrassed and doesn’t want any of the spiders to be near

Shalnark

-He really behaves no differently than any other time

-He might ask them out to go to an arcade or to hang out and play video games

-If he has a crush, he just hangs out with them more than he does with other people

-Other than that, he is just a best friend type of deal

Feitan

-Flustered and annoyed more easily when around his crush

-Entails a lot of slight bicker-sessions with them

-He is kinda like Chrollo in the sense that he is a bit drab, except Feitan won’t care if his crush wants to be his s/o or not (he also doesn’t care to realize his own feelings, all he knows is that he really likes that person and wants them to himself), he is a bit more physical with them

-He would be more possessive than the other guys, not wanting any other person to be flirting with his crush and whatnot. So basically the prelim for him is to not have many friends

What do we do when you don't want to write but your brain tells you, you have to before you can go to sleep. Time to write a headcannon for a character I have already written headcannons for. Now without further ado I present

Even More Feitan Relationship Headcanons

It has been a while since I've actually done a general Headcanons for him and I'm pretty sure the last one has something about him terrorizing geese.

Anyway, his giving love language is gift giving, but his receiving love language is Acts of Service.

Whenever he is tasked with taking something he will always pick up a souvenir. Value does not matter to him, it could be something as small as a bookmark or a priceless vase, really just whatever reminds him of you.

On the same note, he will bring something of yours when he goes on trips. He doesn't ask though, because he thinks it would be an awkward conversation.

You've probably caught on though. It is weird that your favorite shirt, book, perfume ect. Go missing when he leaves and magically reappear when he comes back.

He hates photos, he does not want to be in them ever. However he probably has like one photo of you two together from like 5 years ago that he carries everywhere.

Acts of Service. It doesn't have to be anything big, maybe organizing his torture tools, cooking, cleaning blood off the floor, or starting the coffee machine for him.

But in all seriousness, growing up Feitan had to do everything himself, so someone doing anything for him makes him feel appreciated.

You simply give him that sense of home he never had

It doesn't matter if your cooking is garbage, he's had worse growing up, he'll adore it.

He doesn't like going out much at all. But when you do it is at night, or simply a car ride to get take out.

His ideal date is solving those murder mystery podcasts.

He isn't outwardly possessive/jealous but it is in the little things.

For instant the bed is in the corner of the room and he has you sleep on the inside. He says it's because he gets up in the middle of the night a lot. But deep down it is because he doesn't want you to leave.

On the topic of sleeping, I feel like he is big on conversation.

Conversation being a loose turn, because he is an insomniac he likes to listens to your little rambles. It helps him get comfortable enough to sleep.

Also he strictly has photos of you that you hate and photos of you sleeping.

Is taking pictures of people sleeping weird? Objectively, yes. But I feel like if you fall asleep on someone it is fair game.

Feitan has an interesting lifestyle, and I'm not even talking about the killing part, he moves around a lot and doesn't stay in one place. So keeping up with other personal relationships would be difficult. He would absolutely accommodate that, it may not be super consistent but you'll probably see those people a couple times a year.

Bookshop dates? Bookshop dates.

I feel like you would actually pay for the books too. He wants to support the author's.

I get the vibe that he loves to travel, you will probably travel the world with him. Either on official phantom troupe business, personal vendetta's or just for leisure.

What started out as a joke slowly became a tradition. When you were traveling with Feitan you saw a place offer laser tag, and you poked fun at the odd similarities to his job. But now no matter where you go, you must play laser tag.

He, obviously, is very good at laser tag, and he will not go easy on you or any strangers that might be part of the game. A child could be wearing a birthday hat and crying, there will be no comfort just winning.

Also escape rooms. He is not a huge fan of them, as heisting is a regular event for him. BUT he loves seeing you struggle through the puzzle. He would never let the time run out though!

All in all, this is pretty good for 3-ish am. Now to attempt to edit this.
