Working on something. : ) I like how it’s turning out so far. I’m hoping when it’s finished it will be a great way to “promote” my fic, I suppose. But if you’re curious now it’s a canon divergence AU (though I do try to keep a few elements from it) and it truly divides the most around season 3 which is where the story starts. It’s called The Butterfly Effect. While some of the writing is old (I am quite behind as the next “episode” has stumped me for quite some time but I think I’ve finally figured it out) and I certainly wish I did some things better I am still quite proud of story I’ve come up with and the love and appreciation it has given me for every character in miraculous. Especially Marinette. This is not a salt fic and I sure hope it isn’t perceived that way. This is exploring a different story and the heartbreak it starts with but the new beginnings it could lead to. I hope to do every character justice because this story is made out of love. Though I will be lying if I said it wasn’t birthed from salt but as soon as I got to writing it... I just couldn’t do one of those boring, annoying, and kind of toxic salt fics. I couldn’t do that to this fandom, to these characters, and to myself. I hope that’s reassuring for those who read it and become wary. I don’t want to demonize any of these characters. I just want to write a fun story full of emotion. : ) Fair warning that some things are a tad darker than in the show but not near enough to reach an M rating.
