Calling Loki "Lo" ❤️
Happy Pride Day 🏳️🌈♡
Theo deserved to live this day and feel proud of who he was and how he felt, and Loki deserved a caring partner.
Hc: Agatha knows about Loki and Theo, Theo came to her after y'know...
Yule (Christmas) gifts I've thought about Loki receiving (+what he might get other people):
From Bucky: a journal. Bucky himself writes a lot to retain his memory and, Loki has definitely written in tons of journals over his lifetime, although I feel like later in his life he had less and less spare time to write. It's nothing valuable, just a customised little journal because Bucky thinks Loki could benefit from writing about his feelings more often, he wants to encourage that in him
Brunhilde (Valkyrie): a dagger, typical Loki gift, you see it all the time in fics and now in the Loki show, it's his whole thing, but I can't see her getting him anything else, it just fits. It's got obsidian, emerald, gold, snakes, all that Loki stuff.
Thor: a wooden music box of their family. Something personal, something to remind Loki that he's part of the family, with a traditional Asgardian song their mother used to sing for them. It's made of old Asgardian oak and hand carved by Thor himself. Loki cries upon receiving this, A LOT OF TEARS.
Bruce banner: a hologram projector type thing. Loki can set it to anything with a little coding but it has preset projections such as fireworks, the northern lights, and the night sky. Post Ragnarok, Bruce studied what remained of Asgardian maps of the stars and attempted to recreate the Asgardian night sky. (mainly for a tower/compound Au where he has no magic he can still comfort himself with illusions of his favourite things.)
Sigurd: including him because I like him, probably some Asgardian herbs for tea that Frigga used to grow and have with them, very rare post Ragnarok, and what's needed to grow more.
For Thor: matching tattoos, well the promise of matching tattoos. He hands Thor the stencils, it's their symbols with snakes and goats and Mjolnir and tons of things about their relationship (BROTHERS) and Loki tells Thor that he's not ready to accept his body yet, especially being a frost giant, so he might be a long way away from getting a tattoo, but it's the promise that he'll stay and get it one day.
For Sigyn: a handcrafted necklace with sea glass. This one relates to a hc of mine, Sigyn works mainly with potions and alchemy (also gardening and botany) so she breaks a lot of bottles, inspiring an interest in glass work. Now she recycles the glass she finds, makes stained glass art, beautiful sculptures and accessories, cuts bottles for mini plant pots, blows vases, cups, anything. So one day Loki goes to the beaches of Midgard and spends a week straight, no sleep, writing a letter detailing his feelings towards her and many other things (it ends up being a VERY long letter), while taking breaks to search for the most perfect sea glass to make into a gorgeous necklace for his love.
Other: a green scarf with gold embroidery depicting fenrir, sleipnir, and jormungandr travelling along it, a set of puzzle fidgets so he doesn't pick at his hands as often
Side note: I wanted to include what Sigyn would get for him, verity, and Peter P but I'm not sure yet. While Bruce has an established connection to Loki, Bucky doesn't, but they're just so similar. Anyway, def a work in progress.
Now I don't think this has the same meaning as what I said Loki got for Sigyn but I think Sigyn would make Loki an apple scented cologne or perfume in an apple shaped bottle kind of like this
But green. This is just building on my hc that Sigyn's biggest hobby is working with glass so she makes the bottle herself and she's very proficient in alchemy and potion making so she creates the scent herself. This is also building on something I didn't even know that I think was mentioned in the avengers academy game and I saw in a post from @ripfic that Loki's obsessed with apples? I had no idea 🤷
Hang on... what do you mean Loki's the marvel character that's cried the most on screen...
Would Loki be a fan of heated blankets?
Reblog if you are part of Loki’s Army
I’m trying to prove a point to someone who thinks he is a garbage character that doesn’t deserve fans

Vali and Narfi/Narvi were conceived in a tent while Loki and Sigyn were camping somewhere in the snowy mountains of Vaneheim, cuddling and whispering sweet nothing to each other, away from the biting cold outside, in their warm enchanted tent, meanwhile the cold had gotten Loki's Jotun hormones all worked up so he was... extra...
Loki does not have a victim mentality. He’s a “bad victim”. He commits terrible crimes due to experiencing trauma. He refuses to accept help (because he does not trust anyone due to experiencing trauma).
“Bad victims” are not undeserving of the support and compassion we (ideally) extend to “good victims”. It’s messier. We do have to separate out the moments they were a victim from the moments they were a perpetrator, but that’s possible and necessary for rehabilitation.
It sucks that we rarely get to see “bad victims” recover, receive the apologies they’re owed, make amends for their own wrongdoings, etc. Generally, we seem more hesitant to redeem a “bad victim” than we are to redeem an abuser.
We gotta appreciate this scene a bit more-
Where these girl’s come around and we find out that Thor and Jane broke up
And Thor tries to…idk explain it or whatever? And Loki just-
-pats his shoulder? As in showing sympathy or whatever? Trying to cheer him up? Sth like that idk?
Am I the only one who thinks that this is really precious?

I actually think this scene is CRUCIAL for A) continuity and B) to show that Loki and Thor, despite “moving forward,” have also REGRESSED to their ORIGINAL relationship dynamic, but in this case, in a good way.
A) Continuity: It was very strange to suddenly lose Jane Foster when the last time Thor appeared, in Age of Ultron, he was bragging about how wonderful she was to Tony Stark, who was similarly bragging about Pepper Potts. And even more considering that the entire conflict of The Dark World was about an infinity gem (the Aether) being absorbed into Jane’s body, and Thor and Loki going on a quest to exorcise it from her. Moreover saving Jane’s life–twice in a single scene–was an act of knee-jerk altruism on Loki’s part which set the tone for Thor forgiving Loki for what happened in Thor 1 and Avengers Assemble. Thor watched that happen, and in turn saved Loki’s life, and later fiercely grieved him, in part out of gratitude over Jane. Therefore showing Loki remembering Jane and remembering Thor’s love for Jane, and recognizing that this is one more loss that Thor has to suffer– reaching out to comfort Thor–is a way of economically tying the Ragnarok film back to The Dark World, which aired way back in 2013. It was a much needed reference, because the rest of Ragnarok is so disjunctively different from the other Thor films. B) Loki and Thor’s relationship dynamic: Loki was always Thor’s right-hand man and the guy who approached him–and was safe to do so given Thor’s violent temper–first. Loki was always the one who used calm gentle reason to talk Thor down from folly and to lift his spirits. This is shown more than once in Thor 1 and in The Dark World. In Thor 1, it’s shown when Loki comforts Thor about Odin denying Thor his coronation (albeit in part Loki’s own doing, but then again, Thor really wasn’t ready) particularly in the extended scene, it’s shown in the deleted scene when Thor is nervous BEFORE his coronation and Loki tells jokes to calm him down, and it’s shown in Jotunheim in front of Laufey.
In The Dark World, it’s shown with greater poignancy–as if Loki literally CANNOT HELP but be a source of levity and comfort to Thor, because he’s done it all his life–when Thor says “[Frigga] wouldn’t want us to fight,” and Loki returns, with a soft little smile, “well she wouldn’t exactly be shocked.”
Thor is IMMEDIATELY placated–realizes that he is placated–and very sadly returns, “I wish I could trust you,” effectively mourning their lifelong bond.
In Ragnarok, this bond is revived in both the above scene, and, among other times, at the end of the movie (“It suits you”/ “I’m here” ).
And I think that’s beautiful. People think Loki does nothing but double cross and run away from Thor. People joke about how loki “stabs Thor to show affection.” But at his core Loki exists to be Thor’s solace, a habit he cannot fully kick even when they are at each other’s throats. Even in Avengers Assemble, he weeps at having to decline Thor’s offer at peace:
“Sentiment.”
Tl;dr Loki adores his big brother. Always has.
I wish that for once in the movies Thor could have realized how much Loki was always there, how much he cared and truly saw him in a way that other didn’t. But alas, there is no scene where Thor recognizes how his brother used to cheer him up, and how much he supported him and knew what needed to hear. Thor grieving over loosing the person who knew him like no one else did
Do you have any theories on how you think Loki will be introduced in Doomsday? Like which characters he might be with or if they will (hopefully these aren’t spoilers for anyone) just cut to him sitting alone like in Loki S2 finale
I've honestly been thinking one of the first people he'll meet is Scott due to their shared connection with Kang (even though they completely abandoned that) and he'd probably offer a nice segway into the rest of the new Avengers because they can be a handful, whereas Scott is fairly chill and a bit of a rule breaker himself, he'd probably get him on his podcast or something lmao
what do you think loki’s life would have been like if laufey hadn’t “cast him out” and odin hadn’t taken him?
Depends, while I think the what if episode is a nice way to imagine it, clearly Loki was put there for a reason and Odin just grabbing him and returning him wouldn't prevent Laufey from chucking him out again or putting him somewhere else to keep him safe, depending on the reason he was cast out on the first place.
We do see that he is definitely small for a frost giant, being the size of a normal human/Asgardian baby, so something's up with his biology. I do believe it's cannon (at least in the comics) that Frost giants shrink or don't grow properly in the wrong environment so that could've influenced his stature, as well as Odin's spell, but he's also canonically a "runt"?
So let's say he was abandoned for being small? He'd probably just die.
If he was abandoned for protection and Odin never found him? I'd like to think he would've grown up much better, in an environment that supported his biology, eating foods that were actually good for him, I'm assuming foods high in copper such as salmon (thats a myth ref too), that is also assuming frost giant blood contains hemocyanin rather than hemoglobin, turning the blood blue, his mental health would've been better because his health would've been better, he would've been quite a bit taller, but at the end of the day he's still Loki, he'd still be the troublesome trickster, he still would've played pranks on the staff, and he still would've struggled with his mental health. I think this is portrayed well in Arcane with how Au Powder is still mentally ill despite having a much better upbringing, Loki still would've been mentally ill, he just would've been able to handle it better.
I love ALL of your Loki hcs so much, I could scroll through your posts for hours 💗💗💗 Do you maybe have a masterpost with all of your headcanons? I'd love to read absolutely everything :3
I don't really, sorry :(
