I’ve got some news for you. If you call yourself a feminist and then take cheap shot insults at women who like getting their nails done, or call women who chose to have children “brainless breeders”…..

You’re not actually a feminist. You’re a self righteous asshat.

Women come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. They make choices for themselves that fulfill them. Some may be stereotypical, but I wasn’t aware that made you less of a woman?

How about we celebrate women’s ability to make whatever god damn choices they want in their life if it brings them happiness? Wanna be a sahm? Awesome! I wish you every happiness in the world. Wanna be a top notch executive that travels the globe? That’s amazing! I wish you all the very best!

i hate women who use the new wave of feminism and defense of victim’s rights to make false claims against men they don’t like.

they make serious claims (like sexual harrasment) because a man just looked at her funny, or because their (male) boss told them they are slacking off, or because of an ambiguous comment that just landed the wrong way.

these false claims can ruin a man’s life, can end his career over something he hasn’t actually done. 

and worse than that, it makes the whole movement look bad. it blackens the claims of thousands of women who actually got harrased. it weakens victim’s voices. it makes people doubt the sincerity of their words.

women who take advantage of this and make false claims are a problem.

My little sister came to me and asked if I could show her how to shave her legs.

Me, her older brother who has shaved his legs three times in his entire life. Me, who doesn't understand and rejects hairless beauty standards. Me, who cut myself every time I touched a razor. Me, who has a horrible relationship with my little sister and we almost always scream at one another when we talk.

When my twin sister, who loves to talk about shaving her legs and how freeing it is, was right there.

Why does my little sister want to shave her legs all of a sudden? Because she's going to a pool party and doesn't want to be seen as "gross". She's fucking 12 for gods sake. Who the fuck told my little sister that having hair on her legs is gross?! It's not. It's natural. And it certainly isn't gross.

The beauty standards we put on little girls is disgusting. The "ideal body" doesn't exist and children are hurting themselves trying to achieve it. Why is it "normal" for little girls to take a sharp razor blade to their skin to remove body hair when guys are judged by how much hair they can grow? This is actually revolting for me to think about.

Fuck these unattainable beauty standard.

Caution: Feminist Rant

I absolutely DESPISE the idea that just because I'm a woman, I'm expected to want kids and be married by my mid-twenties. The sad thing is that if you don't want those things, you're considered stupid. I don't want children, but I would like to be married one day. I would rather find myself, travel, and be independent before I do that. So I could be fifty before I'm ever married, and that's fine with me. I wish someone could explain what's so wrong about that.

Modern Day Feminist

I am a feminist. However I am not just your average feminist, who wishes to have equal rights among men such as being paid the same wages. No I am the modern day feminist. I normally come in the form of an uneducated teenage girl jumping on the bandwagon just so I can have an excuse to get angry at men for little things. Naturally I get my information from social media, because where else am I supposed to find reliable information? I am here to tell you why I need feminism in my simplistic world. I need feminism because I once caught a boy in my chemistry class staring at me. That pervert was clearly undressing me with his eyes, and thinking inappropriate thoughts about me. Personally I don’t think boys like that should even be allowed in the school system.

I need feminism because a male teacher once asked if I needed help on my homework. Oh so us women are so helpless and dumb we can’t even manage to do simple math? What a sexist pig.

I need feminism because when I was on a date, my boyfriend ordered a salad for our appetizer, then told me I was beautiful. So first, I am completely incapable of ordering my own food. What’s next, are you going to make me breakfast tomorrow morning? Then he completely undermines my intelligence by only complimenting my outer beauty, how did I end up with someone so shallow? Lastly, I can’t believe he called me fat?! Even though I order the Caesar salad every time we go out to dinner, he had the guts to order it for me, as if I needed it.

What’s that you say? Well why do you need feminism?

You need feminism because men still say she was asking for it, because she was wearing a skimpy outfit. Well how does that affect me? I don’t dress provocatively.

You need feminism because woman are getting paid less than men, because we still aren’t seen as their equals in this modern society. My daddy pays for everything so I am never going to have to go into the workforce.

You need feminism because women in other countries get killed for showing more of their ankles than legally allowed to, and in some countries they get killed for just being women. Um hello? I live in America, what happens in other countries doesn’t affect me.

I mean I guess those are good reasons, but I’m here to talk about the important reasons. Such as I need feminism because paying for my meal when you take me out implies that I’m poor and can’t provide for myself, therefore I am going to be a terrible mother who will never be able to provide for her children.

I need feminism because I am the truly oppressed woman in america who is not allowed to show her shoulders in school.

I don’t need feminism because I do not understand what it is to be oppressed and I do not know what it is to have to deal with actual sexist men in today’s society.
