You know the story, wife basically sells the soul of her future son to save her husband, she eventually burns on the ceiling, her husband sells his soul to save his oldest son who in turn sells his soul to save his younger brother, and that younger brother is the one the mother sold off to a demon back in the day, and he eventually foregoes his life to spend eternity in hell to save the world from the apocalypse….

I would like to thank the heller for continuously (apparently) unintentionally throwing Misha under the bus multiple times by telling Jensen how often he jokes about and bolsters destiel in his panels and outside of Jensen’s knowledge…

I try to stay out of the fandom beef but I saw a tweet that Dean would choose Cas over Sam and I fear that some of you don't watch scenes that Cas isn't in. Dean literally tells Sam there's nothing that he would put in front of Sam and he is SPECIFICALLY responding to Sam thinking Dean would choose Cas or Benny over him.

That's not subtext, it's text.

ALS moves fast, it’s so devastating. I genuinely can’t imagine the fear and pain of the person going through it, and the agony of those who watch their loved ones in the throes of it. RIP Eric Dane. It is in the top 5 of most consequential lines spoken in the history of the show. Without a shadow of a doubt. It changed everything in two seconds.

I’m rewatching again, and trying to REALLY WATCH IT, without being distracted by the house, the kids, etc etc.

What hit me like a truck is that SPN has more heart than every single show on tv these days. I’m actually in a constant state of jaw dropped over this. SPN has SO much heart. Characters to truly root for. It doesn’t preach at you. It trusts its audience. I actually cried at parts, where I haven’t cried before. And I realize that this era of tv is truly over. It wasn’t self righteous or heavy handed. It was so honest. They tackled love, loss trauma, healing, anger, family, faith and devotion in a way you NEVER see anymore- with subtlety and nuance. You could relate to Sam and Dean in ways that seemed impossible because what in God’s name could we ever have in common with them? Even the side actors in MOTW eps are so amazing.

I MISS it so much. I miss feeling what I felt while watching. I miss showrunners, writers and actors who weren’t in it for ego and self aggrandizement.

Say what you want about SPN, but it’s a million times better than every other show I’ve seen for a long time.

(Sorry if you love shows these days and it seems like I blasted them 😆, but I’m missing SPN hard right now and felt like love/doom posting)

It’s really, REALLY, sad to see a blog I have absolutely adored start to become not j2 anymore but more and more anti Jensen. SMDH…. It’s just completely ruined my day to scroll their blog and see that sentiment growing as well as reblogging from anti Jensen blogs. Sigh. It is what it is. When true J2ers are rare, you interact with who is around. I get it, I do. Between hellers and aa’s, and j1’s, maybe it feels like the lesser of the evils.

Here’s a question for you- do you remember when you first saw an ad or commercial for SPN? I think I was watching a Charmed rerun?? And a commercial came on?

But I strongly remember going, “yes…. This is for me… omg omg this is so for me”

And the rest is SUPERNATURAL history. 20 years. 20 amazing years of Sam and Dean. Of their beautiful love story. Of their tragic reality. Of their strength and hope and sheer determination to do the right thing.

Maybe if people would stop turning everything into a senseless J2 dick measuring contest, and just enjoy the fact that both our boys have good things, and that we will see them on screen together again. Even though briefly.

Also, we are wasting our time fighting over something that doesn’t matter when we should be banding together and feasting on heller tears while they’re so butthurt about Misha being “wronged”.

We should be celebrating the wins we got the last few days, not pitting the boys against each other for no good reason!

Exactly this. All of this. I love seeing either of J2 have success in something, and I'm always hoping for them to. I don't care if that's acting, hobbies, or People's Sexiest Men lists. Jared, Jensen, or ideally Jared and Jensen thriving is the default I want.

J2 together are magical and probably have casting directors all over the world crying because they've never achieved that lightning in a bottle thing, and never will. We see them at conventions regularly, but I'm looking forward to seeing them together on screen as much as I'm looking forward to Homelander finally being stopped.

Just like pitting Sam and Dean against each other would 1) make your fave sad and 2) is a waste when there are two perfectly good men right there and you can have both of them.

The same with J2. Love both of them, and engage with their work, and suddenly you have plenty to watch, read, attend, discuss whatever. And it makes them happy to see how much we love them and everything they achieved as the only leads in Supernatural for its record breaking run. Nobody else was in even half as many episodes.

Supernatural was the Sam and Dean show.

Supernatural was the Jared and Jensen show.

Kripke knows that people miss the Jared and Jensen show so as a little treat for being good, he's been able to wrangle a cameo in The Boys.

What's not to love? Mimi who? He's simply not relevant, nor close to their level. He's just a guy. J2 are actual tv stars.
