There is little chance they will actually end up together because of Eternal Sugar's madness (everyone, I hope you're all manifesting Beasts redemption). But it's so obvious they're both genuinely attracted, even though it's on different level. HB don't even look mad at ES. Also, the game made it so clear that as she will not abandon what she believes in and cherish for this love, HB kinda reciprocate ES's feelings/attractkon in some ways. The lovers AU, the pride post, their kingdom interaction, the litteral ending of ep 10
Also, I can’t be the only one who has noticed that in their interactions before battles, just like SS and WL, and unlike the three other Beast/Ancient pairs, they seem to be willingly on the same side with no animosity. Do I take it as sign (I'm clinging on what I can, okay?)
Someone on TikTok theorizes that ES could maybe switch sides if HB is severely injured in the battle, and I can imagine it honestly. DE is gonna betray the Beasts and not gonna let the Ancients make it out alive this time. In what mad world, would that lesbianest or them all let HB die for the plan of someone else she doesn’t care about? Remember how ES gets so defensive and threatening when Shadow Milk mentions HB. In her twisted mind, that woman would do ANYthing to keep that muscle mommy.
It's so funny to me how a big part of the fandom was genuinely shocked these two end up being romatically involved like they aren't soulmates bounded by a freaking PINK HEART. Like what did you expect?
