How he’d gotten talked into working the kissing both for a bit, he couldn’t even remember. One minute he’d been unhappily listening to his co-worker going on about how he’d have to work the booth but wouldn’t be able to make it and how they had no one to actually sit at the booth and give out kisses for a dollar for some kind of donation. He hadn’t really been paying attention and had agreed to fill in before he’d even had time to process the others request as he’d just wanted said male to leave him alone so he could go home and finish up whatever homework he had left to do from before he’d had to come in for his shift at the Cinema. So here he was on his day off, manning the stupid kiss booth as he waited for whatever brave soul decided they’d wanted a kiss from him. Luckily, most seemed too put off by his sour mood to actually approach the booth, which worked out great for the teen. He’d been told to man the booth, they hadn’t said anything about him having to appear welcoming to the passing crown. Ha! Jokes on them, they’d be making no money off of him.He only had a couple more hours left before his replacement was due to come in and take over; then he’d be able to leave and be done with the useless task. Of course it was just as the last hour was coming to a close that someone approached his booth and had tentatively asked for a kiss, regardless of his continuous glare as she moved closer, holding the dollar out from him to take in exchange for said kiss. He’d been so close, so very close. Begrudgingly taking the offered dollar, because he’d been told that he was not allowed to turn away customers unless they were harassing him in some way, and tossed it into the money box located underneath the booth’s top. Turning his attention towards the red haired female, who’d patiently watched him as he tried to drag out the task, clearing his throat he spoke, “y-yeah, okay. Let’s get this over with,” he finished as he leaned forward, closer to her as she did the same. Okay, he could do this, it was just a kiss, no big deal. Right? Just a quick touch of the lips and it was done.He internally panicked as she closed her eyes and waited for her kiss. Heart pounding loudly in his ears he moved an inch closer, fully set in kissing her. But he couldn’t do it, he shifted a bit to the right and kissed her cheek before pulling back, his face flushing pink as the booth seemed too hot and cramped. “T-there! Thank you for you donation,” he muttered as he looked anywhere but at her, hoping she wouldn’t notice how pink his face had become.
