Ever see white, stringy matter growing in your soul, that is mycorrhizae or myco for short. This type of fungus forms a symbiotic relationship with the roots of plants and helps maintain a healthier garden. Just like how humans should maintain a healthy gut flora of good bacteria, plants require micro-organisms to break down decaying matter, provide a chain of events for plants to grow healthy, and fight disease. One gardening channel I would pass on would be Gardening with James Prigioni. He started a food forest in a backyard around a decade ago in New Jersey and he’s a proponent for using the mycorrhizae product called Mycos and it has worked wonders. You can also help establish myco fungi by using wood chips and mulch as compost in/on your soil.
Fertilization Day. Holy moly, this is serious work. Now is the time that matters the most, so I provide lots of water and nutrients. Since I started watering and fertilizing angrily, lots of plants that are actually not big enough to flower yet have pushed out flower buds. And yeah, the majority of the plants already have lots of flower buds and it's only the very beginning of the season. There will be more flushes. It's actually some kind of art and once you get to the point where you can see your plants react well to your treatment, you feel like the king of the world. 😊
