Now, things in the Madrigal household moved quickly. That was just how it was, with so many people on top of each other all of the time, so many separate lives crossing and connecting. Félix quite enjoyed it, honestly - it kept things interesting! There was never a dull moment at home; he had grown up in a quiet household, just him and his parents, and as nice as it was he much preferred all of the noise and chatter and the multiple goings on that marrying into such a big family had brought him.
But it did mean he ended up with a lot on his mind nowadays. Isabela and Mirabel both in new relationships had brought a lot of chatter to the house, as anyone could imagine. And Félix was just their uncle, he knew that, so maybe it wasn’t his place to have concerns, but...
Well, first of all! He wasn’t concerned. Félix wasn’t often concerned by anything, he was very good at batting away troublesome thoughts and focusing on the positives. It was just in his nature! He liked to reassure people, he liked to be the one looking on the bright side. And he wasn’t worried about Mirabel - again, he wasn’t worried about anyone, but...
He shuffled up the line at Hatter’s, lips pursed as he thought. He was the only one in the queue, hanging around at the end of the bar waiting for his drink, and whilst he watched Hatter move around at the other side of the counter he pursed his lips, arms folded across his chest. “You know, if your niece had started dating someone out of the blue, is it your place to be worried?” He asked, mostly to Hatter but also kind of to the empty air around him, thinking aloud. “Or is that a dad concern, do you think?”
