Momtaku don't know if you have noticed, but in this chapter there's a small panel of the boy from Marley. This is the second time we see him in the middle of Eren's memories (the first was on chapter 120) and yet they never interacted on chapter 123. I'm pretty sure he'll reappear again and my theory is that Eren told him to run away from Liberio with the the rest of his family. Do you agree? Eren was crying while seeing that kid and I doubt Annie's dad will die before reuniting with her.

This is going to be on the poll because there are so many ways of looking at it. The poll team is still working on the wording, but I’ll give you a preview of the rough draft.... 

This chapter showed us Fez-kun in another setting, finding himself in trouble again. What do you think is the meaning behind his hidden story?

Eren let him in on a secret plan that nobody else knows about

It demonstrates Eren’s hypocrisy in showing compassion for someone who will die by his actions

Witnessing Fez-kun being attacked reinforced Eren’s belief about the hatred in the world.

There is plot significance but I don’t know what it is

I’m probably going to pick the last option. I do think there’s plot significance here, or at least more to the story, but I don’t know how Eren could have warned him or communicated with him since they don’t speak the same language. I think option 2 is good as well but I’d use the word guilt instead of hypocrisy.

My 131 coloured pages, RIP Ramzi and Halil :(

Hi there, I would like to hear your take on Remzi and Halil after what happened in chapter 131. The timeline of the flashback in a little confusing. We saw Levi and co. save one of the brothers during the day. Afterward, they head to Azumabito residence. In chapter 131 Erwn sees one of the brothers and comments how he saw the boy in his future memories, not from earlier in the day. Does that mean that boys that Levi saved and the one Eren saved are different. I was wondering what your take is

They are the same child. Eren had a vision of Ramzi at some point before he traveled to Marley. Kissing Historia’s hand may have caused a memory shatter similar to those we’ve now seen and Ramzi was among those.

I dropped this in a  askdiscord chat to see if anyone had any thoughts and my friend Angrian came through. He shared this panel from 123.

While Levi was saving Ramzi, Eren was off to the side, not paying attention. Since Mikasa seems to notice Eren staring, it may be that Eren got a look at Ramzi as he was running away. 

It’s possible that Eren went to look for the child after the scene in 123. It’s also possible he ran across Ramzi later on after leaving the meeting with the Eldian sympathizer. I think the latter makes sense since he carried Ramzi back to the tents where Mikasa later found him.

Hey there. I know this is a rather odd question, but what is your favorite memory shard from the chapter? Also, what do you think about the crying Historia and that mystery kid (some say it's Rod, some say it's Xaver, some say it's some kid from the Mid East Union, due to the Fez hat. Some say he's neither of those). What are your thoughts?

Those are the two that stood out to me as well since they are both new information. 

The Historia panel confirms that Eren visited her and that they had the conversation that left her in tears. Yelena may still have visited her at some point, but it’s far more likely now that Eren was the cloaked figure.

My thoughts on Fez-kun is that if it’s  Eren’s memory (and not, say, Lady Tybur’s) we’ll probably get some information soon about how Eren travelled to the peninsula before being transported to Marley. SO ANSWERS ARE COMING!! That’s always exciting to know!

I'm still super curious who the mystery boy from Eren's fragmented memories is. It's Isayama so I'm sure he's not forgotten and we'll see him at some point but because I don't think there will be any more flashback from now on I guess he'll be introduced later on, but it's basically the end now isn't kinda late? Any ideas who he'll be?

OOOF I FORGOT ABOUT HIM! And that’s only been, what... two chapters ago, maybe?? Geez. Time in PATHS does feel like forever! 

Yeah. We gotta find out who Fez-kun is. I feel like he’s connected to Eren’s time on the peninsula before being transported to Marley. There’s still a lot we don’t know about Eren, what he’s thinking, what he’s done, where he’s been, and why he needs to do this alone...  I don’t know when that will be relevant but I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect another flashback or a recounting of some of Eren’s mysteries. Fez-kun will surely be a part of that.
