I missed this, but there seems to be a new voiceline from Tyler in this Magic: The Gathering trailer (the one for the FF cards collab), and people are kinda giddy to hear how emotive he’s sounding these days, hehe.

Personally, I think he had moments like this in Rebirth, but I do hope they finally have him sound even more feral and angry in part 3 because he IS going to be pulling some crazy shit towards the end 😅

They are recording the English voicelines now, so we’ll hopefully get a teaser trailer late this year or sometime next year.

A year from now we'll know about FF7R3

By the second anniversary of Ever Crisis, we'll know the title and release date of Part 3 and have a teaser trailer, according to director Toriyama.

My personal opinion is that they will try their best to release it for the 30th anniversary of OG (31st January 2027). As for the title, I have already expressed my personal preference.

Today I found out the new voice of Sephiroth in FF7R3 (or as we now know it, Final Fantasy 7 Revelation) is Travis Willingham.

I dig Travis as Sephiroth ngl. But now not just one, but two Critical Role members are in the FF7R trilogy. Travis is also a long time great among VAs among the likes of his wife Laura Bailey plus not only fellow Critical Role members Matt Mercer and Liam O'Brien but also the likes of Yuri Lowenthal and Troy Baker, and this is another big role to his tally. I'm always down for a Critical Role member, or those who are also close with them like Yuri and Troy, getting to be a character I know and like, as someone who has been a fan of those VAs for a long time.
