The Wool Wearer

The Wool Wearer runs the fields, claws clicking under their cloak. They were born sharp, and they were born hungry, but when they join the herd-hymns the harmonies are sweeter than any howl once waxed to the moon. This is the God who chose the soft road, warmth over victory. The Wool Wearer walks as one with the flock-- but sometimes, when the moon is full and shadows slip between the sheep like a knife in ladder-gap-ribs, they remind us all: this kindness is a choice. their wool is just a coat. they have not forgotten their teeth.
