Poses. I would like to know more about the Damascus Djinns! What inspired their creation, how did they come about; who were the founding members; is it a thriving, rich organisation and was it always that way? Please tell me everything. :)
Oh you have opened the FLOODGATES on some character lore here, so sorry not sorry for the literal wall coming your way!
There's primarily three founding members of the Damascus Djinns, just a trio of orphaned Rabanastran streetrats trying to get by day by day. What would be seen as petty thefts were just ways to get by. With no gil or family, how else are kids meant to feed themselves?
Saeed's the eldest of the three, the one to set about their plans of pickpocketing and stealing goods, though throughout the years those would escalate into distrupting imperial goings on within their city and was the one to set into motion their part in the Dalmascan Resistance.
Farah is certainly the more level headed of the group, though can't help but use her arcane trickery to cause a distraction if they happen to get into a pinch. Over time she trains these skills, eventually becoming quite the formidable arcanist with particularily potent magicks at her disposal.
Tahsin, a little more hotheaded, is one to charge in and get right into the action as soon as possible. To some it would seem reckless, and perhaps that is true, but more often than not he will get himself out of whatever trouble he and his friends have gotten into by sheer power of will alone.
Honestly, they're family, always will be.
Over time their membership grew, with fellow wayward souls wishing to help out one another, to in time those who also wished to get back at the imperials who discriminated against them and their people.
So Saeed took up the place as leader of this group with Farah and Tahsin standing by his side as his most trusted co-leaders, and finally they had a name for themselves; the Damascas Djinns.
From here on it was no longer just a gang of youths doing what they could to survive, now it was a fully fledged espionage group willing to do whatever they could to disrupt imperial political matters, the manufacturing of magitek within their city and steal as much information as possible for the Dalmascan Resistance.
Unfortunately with the subsequent bombardment of Rabanastre, they all found themselves scattered and many of their number lost in the tragedy, many choosing to go into hiding with the subsequent headhunting lead by the empire for those involved with the Dalmascan Resistance.
The founding trio, however, thankfully reunited within Neimrahava.
And in due time, others would appear back into the fray and with the following uprising in Bozja, many moved to help on the front and take their chance to bring down the very imperial airship that destroyed Rabanastre.
Presently, with the reclaimation of Dalmasca from the empire, most have moved on to settle down within Valnain. Farah herself taking up a political position within the new capital whilst Tahsin gets involved with the goings on within the Rumta-Zaraam.
Saeed however, forever unable to settle down, currently keeps himself occupied with mercenary and spy work wherever he can, taking him to every part of the world that he never even dreamt of going to.
Of course, there isn't much time spent apart. The Damascas Djinns still stand strong as a group, and their founding members even stronger.
