I went to go see Dear Evan Hansen yesterday in a crowd full of people even though I have a Sensory Processing Disorder, and I think that’s a pretty big step, cuz I haven’t gone to see one since like 7th grade when my symptoms started to get really bad.

"Yeah I burn pretty easy." Josh chuckles. "It's alright though. I got my sexy guardian angel to rub me down with sunscreen." He pulls Vas in for a quick kiss."I tried wearing a big straw hat to the beach once but I got embarrassed cause Red told me I looked like one of those old dad type guys." He chuckled a little. "So now I wear flat brims. Not as much sun protection but a little more my style."

🥂 "Isn't this place amazing, Lorenz?" Hilda asks as she approaches with two Mai Tai's in coconuts complete with paper umbrellas. She offers one to him and sighs wistfully. "I don't think I ever want to leave!"

Lorenz didn’t know what he was expecting, in hindsight. Iced ea, perhaps. Or fruit punch. Or foreign bubbly water.

Quite frankly, his eyes were more on Hilda than the drink.

He took the coconut with a smile, eyes already bright at the fun, tropical presentation. “Ah, duty calls back home, I’m sure. However, I agree for now. This place is wonderful!” A habitual, but surely effective smirk overtook his smile and he raised the coconut up just a little. “And what better way to enjoy the surf and sunshine than with such lovely company, hm?”

Lorenz casually went to take a long sip from his straw, expecting something smooth or fruity. He did get that.

And the rum.

And the liqueur.

The effect was instant. Lorenz covered his mouth, a blush already overtaking his face. “Ah- oh, um. Quite the warmth generating beverage. You know, usually they do the opposite, I gathered. Ha. Well... not like just tea would be in one of these, right? Coconuts... don’t make good teapots.” He should’ve been able to smell it and brace himself, but there was Hilda right there, he needed to pay attention and get his act together, and so he hadn’t thought about the drink even though it was obviously fun and alcoholic, and now, just with a long sip—

Lorenz miraculously didn’t drop the coconut but did burst into giggles, laying his head on Hilda’s shoulder as an appalling giddiness spread through him head to toe and he laughed at quite literally nothing.

No one was ever supposed to know why he didn’t frequent taverns.

But here we are.

Alex somehow like... gets the seagulls to trust them. PC comes back from buying Davey a Coke to see Alex just covering in serene looking seagulls— on their arms, on their shoulders, on their head. He takes like seven pictures. Alex is henceforth known to the group as seagull god.

tulip vs the seagull that keeps trying to steal their food

Round one: seagull swoops down and steals sandwich, tulip chases it half a mile down the beach, swearing the whole time

Round two: seagull comes back for the pretzel she’s gotten, but tulip is ready; she fucking SNATCHES this bird out of the air and shakes it a little before throwing it away from her

Bonus round: gaggle of seagull attack her, she runs screaming away from them; now there’s her and Espeon yelling. Alice and Davey are so tired. This was supposed to be a fun beach episode
