Admittedly calling K'rhid Tia and Silvarre trainers is a bit of a stretch, but I had the space so I thought I'd give y'all the chance to punch them anyway.

Decided to play an old alt instead of waiting 30 minutes for a dungeon on my main. Everything is so low level and she looked rough so I did my best to pretty her up 🥹

Please suggest hairstyles bc this one isn't really vibing. And her highest job is 37 lancer??? Should I pick up a different class for her??? I am not very good at Lancer 😅

Age 1-5: Black and textured, cut close to the scalp with intricate shamanistic patterns, which later became tattoos, shaved throughout

Age 6-10: Her hair is kept woven in a neat braid that encircles the crown of her head and coated in red and white clay.

Age 11-15: Black hair is braided tightly together from the scalp and the braids are tied together at the base of the neck with leather cording and *sunor bands.

Age 16-19: Her hair is black and textured, with the left side braided against her scalp and coated in white clay. The right side of her hair is cropped just below her jaw, with beads and feather ornaments woven in.

Age 20-26: Her textured hair is braided into tight rows that fall down her back, reaching mid-waist. The braids are coated sparingly in reddish brown clay, giving the appearance of stripes running down from her scalp.

Age 27: Her hair flows free, aside from a small portion which is braided away from her eyes. The tips are died a deep red.   

Eyes: Diwata has heterochromia. Her left eye is gold and the right is green, with torn irises giving her the appearance of partial cat eyes. She has well-defined, severe brows and deep set eyes.

Height: 6′1″

Build: She is lean and fit, with toned muscles and hardly any body fat.

Skin: Diwata has rich umber toned skin with few blemishes, aside from numerous battle/training scars. Her arms are decorated with traditional shamanistic tattoos that recall her royal status and feats in battle. On her hands and feet are traditional Henna designs, which are reapplied weekly, so often that her skin is almost permanently stained with reddish ochre.

Distinguishing Marks: Diwata has traditional shamanistic tattoos on her shoulders and upper arms, depicting her life story as she has lived since childhood. A tattoo of a *Vyhae prowls down her back from the left shoulder. Her body is covered in scars from years of battle training. There is a spear wound through her chest and back, several scars on her arms and legs, and a large split in the center of her lower lip. More recent scars, which are still pinkish or red, crisscross her back from being whipped by the slavers and those who purchased her.

Common Accessories: Diwata, as other members of her family, was marked at birth with a thick gold lip ring to denote her status. The ring itself has a reddish gold hue and has a large moonstone set in the center. Although it looks heavy, it is actually rather lightweight, and her years of wearing it have caused it to almost fuse with her skin, her lip having healed around it in childhood. She also has several ear cuffs and rings.  Her earlobes are stretched with thick shell discs.

Clothing:

Daily wear: Diwata typically wears a strappy-style top, dyed pale blue, and a pair of baggy pants that are easy to move in. She goes barefoot and decorates her hair with feathers and beads.

Battle armor: Diwata carries a light shield made from the shell of a giant softshell turtle, which is about two and a half feet in diameter. She has a winged headdress forged of *tranor with *sunor/gold alloy detailing. Her light chainmail is forged from tranor alloyed with iron to make it lighter. She wears a skirt and cloak of animal hide, decorated with various beads crafter from bone, clay, and shells. To protect her palms from severe chafing, she wraps them in tanned leesapi skin and leather cording.

Ceremonial garb: Diwata’s ceremonial armor has a much more polynesian feel, with an underskirt made from palm fronds and dried grasses, an overskirt of finely woven blue fabric, and a leather belt. Her chest is covered *tonaboo scales and seashells, leaving her midriff exposed. On her head, she wears a crown of provinia, veproyeed, and onianna blossoms mixed with feathers. She has a small pauldron of carved box turtle shell over her shoulder. Her neck is adorned with a kukui nut lei, several puka shell necklaces, a choker made of vyhae teeth, and a sunor amulet.

Ritual armor: Across her shoulder is a pauldron made of tonaboo scales, which attaches around her back with supple leather straps. Gauntlets and boots made of animal bone adorn her hands and feet. She wears a mask made from the skull of a vyhae, her spirit creature over her face, and allitsaa, parrot, and francolin feathers are woven into her hair. Her body is covered with a soft, black dress, which has a halter style top and a loincloth skirt.

Style of fighting: Diwata is highly skilled in hand to hand combat, both armed and disarmed. She is an accomplished martial artist and well versed in the esoteric beliefs around combat. She fights, above all else, with honor; if her opponent loses their shield in combat, she will also drop her own. Fairness in battle is of utmost importance to her, as an unfair fight is dishonorable. Born to King Bayani and Queen Mayumi Zaman of the isolated island nation of Bakapulae, Diwata was a triplet; the youngest of her siblings, Datu and an unnamed sister. Diwata’s triplet sister was the smallest and most frail, passing away before her first nameday. Her passing became a national day of mourning in the kingdom, and her body was embalmed and placed within the trunk of the sacred Queen’s Tassel tree. 

Diwata was about seven months old when she first received her lip ring, a tradition that denoted her status as royalty, alongside her brother, Datu. The pair were raised in somewhat different environments, with Diwata being taught the more diplomatic side of ruling, and Datu learning the skills of a warrior. As she grew older, Diwata (nicknamed Didi) began questioning why she couldn’t learn to fight. This lead to some tension between herself and her father. She began training secretly with her cousin Jawila at age seven. 

At ten, Didi earned her first tattoo, a wheel of the sun on her shoulder. She was now ready to challenge her brother in combat to prove to her father that she could fight as well. Datu, by now several heads taller than his sister, scoffed and refused to fight her. Didi became very angry and took her complaint to her father directly. Bayani was initially very irate and sent her away, but secretly followed her to her training spot, where he witnessed her practicing with traditional Bakapulan weaponry, and was shocked. His daughter was a natural-born warrior, she moved fluidly and with perfect instinct.  Bayani confronted his daughter proudly, stating that he would allow her to be trained alongside her brother, so long as she could keep up. Diwata was ecstatic and agreed.

By age thirteen, Diwata was a formidable opponent, easily taking down both her brother and fellow warriors. As is tradition, she was sent to climb to the top of the dormant volcano and fetch the Majestic Lotus from Eethanul’s Tear, with only only necessary ritual materials. It took her nearly a month, but she made her way to the top of the volcano and dove into the clear waters of Eethanul’s Tear, sinking through the water and passing through the bottom, into a sacred, air filled cave beneath the lake. There, she found the Majestic Lotus and lit her incense, before sitting down to commune with the previous rulers of Bakapulae. 

After the ritual was complete, she took a cut of both the petal and the leaf of the Lotus, before heading back to the village. 

Upon her arrival home, Diwata was greeted by a joyful festival, followed by another ritual in which she drank a traditional tea made from the leaf and petal that she retrieved. She then had a vision of a massive ship that left blood in its wake, firing upon her island, and taking her people in chains. 

When she awoke once again, she was in the infirmary, having blacked out. From this moment on, she was imbued with what Eorzean’s call the Echo, but her people know as Alyos Pinduasal or God Touched. It heightened her senses and reflexes, giving her massive advantage on the battlefield. 

Diwata continued to train, harder and more fervently, spurned forward by her vision, which continued to haunt her nightmares. It was at this time that she fell in love with her handmaiden, a girl by the name of Naadya. She began researching technology with her younger sister, Ligaya, helping her people to advance their society. Together, they produced dozens of blueprints for weapons, transportation, and farming.

On her and Datu’s twenty-first name day, their father, Bayani was killed in a hunt. After his body was laid to rest in Eethanul’s tear, the siblings began debating who would lead. Diwata argued that they should follow their father’s wish to rule together, but Datu - ever stubborn - refused. He challenged her to ritual combat and lost, when Diwata forced him to yield, but refused to kill him. As she was proclaimed the victor, Datu, furious at his defeat, drove his spear through her back.

Datu was taken away in chains as Diwata was nursed back to health by her lover, Naadya. Several weeks later, Diwata stood at the top of Eethanul’s Tear to mourn her father and turned towards the shore to see the object of her nightmares - the Blood ship. 

Still wounded, she rallied her troops and allowed Datu to be freed of his confinement so that he could help her. Datu had clearly had a change of heart, helping to defend his sister until his final breath. Diwata told her beloved Naadya to take as many civilians, including the royal family, into hiding in the secret tunnels that had been carved into the volcano. As Naadya returned from hiding the first group, she was cut down by the Blood ship’s captain, Nergui Buduga. Diwata, seeing this, flew into grief-stricken rage, attacking Buduga. 

In her weakened stake, Buduga easily defeated the newly-crowned queen, tearing her birth-ring from her lip and binding her in chains, along with many of her fellow Bakapulaens. Diwata managed one last glance at her burning homeland, the while sand beaches stained red with blood, before she lost consciousness.

After several months aboard Buduga’s ship, Diwata was brought to a slave auction in Eorzea. Many of her people had died of infection and starvation whilst aboard, so only about a score remained when they were brought to the block. Diwata herself was purchased by Ilto Yodoto, a wealthy Lalafell in Thanalan. She worked under him for several years, but lead a riot and escaped at age twenty-four. 

From there, Diwata began fighting in the Coliseum, quickly rising through the ranks as a crowd favorite, due to her skill and performance with the spear and Buntot Pagi, as well as her skills as a martial artist. She currently lives on Pearl Lane, considered a refugee, as she works to make enough gil to charter a ship to find her way home.
