♤ - Given a chance to learn and use a combat ability or magic they don’t possess, what would your muse choose?

Saya is always eager to learn, looking for any new skill that can give her an advantage over her prey.

She knows she could use more training in alternate forms of melee combat beyond the use of her trusty hunting dagger. While proficient with this, and at a distance with her bow, she knows she's weaker against armed opponents when they close ground to mid-range, and she could benefit from practice in weapons work that can better help her deal with attacks in those spaces between.

As helpful as it would be to gain spellcasting abilities to add to her arsenal, and as much as she hates to admit it, this is her area of greatest weakness in combat. Try as she might, she has been unable to master magic to the extent that she can effectively wield it in battle as a purely offensive tool on her own without assistance from her allies. As an independent hunter and fighter, this continues to bother Saya greatly.

📀 How easy is it to shock your OC? To confuse them? To lie to them, to manipulate them? How are they with feelings of trust? Can your OC be trusted?

Very little surprises Saya anymore, and if it does, she takes great care to keep it to herself, preferring silence to conceal her true thoughts and emotions for as long as possible to prevent them from being turned into ammunition that can be used against her. She likes to think of herself as a keen judge of character, immune to others' machinations, but she's simply become skilled at hiding her mistakes and misjudgements by adapting quickly to the unexpected, pretending that things went exactly as she'd anticipated. She hates giving others the satisfaction that they somehow got the jump on her.

Suffice it to say, while Saya considers herself loyal and trustworthy, these do not come easily and it takes a lot to earn her trust.
