Vox is currently staring down... himself. The human face he hadn't seen in seventy years. There's so many thoughts going through his head. Disappointment, uncertainty, wariness. He doesn't want to confront this part of him, but it seems like he's going to have to. So he settles for coming off as distant. Unfeeling almost as he crosses his arms and rolls his eyes.

"Great. What is this? Some kind of angel fuckery?" Not that he expects Vincent of all people to know. "Know how you got here pipsqueak?"

It wasn't as if Heaven was a bad place. It was nice! Really, truly, Canary liked it here, there was just one thing missing. One person missing. One person that he had hoped to never be separated from, gone, and gone in a way that Canary could not ever reach her again.

He sits on a bench overlooking a beautiful park and sighs, pulling his knees to his chest and resting his chin on them. Violet would like this place too, he thinks, and sighs.

Don't mind her, Lilith is just sitting at the bar, leaning on her elbow as she takes in the sight before her. An amused smile is on her face, looking upon her ex-husband and seeing how fate has decided to play out for him.

To go from leading the Exterminations and killing sinners, to then becoming one of those very sinners himself. The irony of it all~!

Realizing how her looking at him for a long time must be coming off, the Queen of Hell finally lets out the chuckle she has been holding back, picking herself up. "I'm sorry...it's just..." she lets out a laugh. "the consequences of our own actions, huh?! Don't get me wrong, I'm actually glad to see you survived your ordeal, but...what a hell of a comeback!"

Okay, so maybe she was taking too much joy in this after how things had gone down between them. Maybe there was some slight pettiness too, but Lilith couldn't help it. She was the one who held the power and was the Queen of Hell while he was now one of her subjects. How could she NOT enjoy this twist compared to their days in Eden?

"I'll help you, Adam. You're one of us now and I am nothing but a generous queen. Just tell me what you need and I will try to provide."

Rachel runs her hands through her hair and makes a face when they come free abruptly at the ends. The long braid wasn't her idea; neither was having it cut off. "Sorry, this is stupid."

Now that she has to explain, it sounds worse. The important part about being a Hound is what Ahab made her do to other people. The second worst is what he did to her in the process. Missing stuff is a distant, distant third, a side effect; it's just bugging her now that she's somewhere normal, where she can accidentally think about what is and what she expected to be.

Unfortunately, she's committed now. "I guess I just keep thinking about things I thought I'd have done by now. High school." She manages a wry smile. "You know, some people I respect design the curriculum here, so I figure it's probably important. Um... driving." Scott is teaching her. "Powers training." The kind that's not all about finding and hurting people. Wouldn't have been with her mom, though. "I used to think I'd be an X-Man at this age, you know." Maybe not realistic.

Rachel huffs a little. "And now I'm here, and I'm glad I'm here, and I have a schedule and help for all of that, so that's great... but it took kid Stryfe to remind me I can go shopping, and he just got to this century!"
