Klaus and Kamil || Intreague

Klaus was stood in the back of his shop, just starting to make a new perfume with lilac and lily’s. It was sure to go down well, all he needed was a single herb to drag the two fragrances together. Just as he was about to drop the last flower into the pestle and mortar, the tiny bell just above his door sounded through the shop.

A fake smile plastered onto his face immediately as he walked into the shop floor. He recognized the man, he lived in the town selling flowers didn't he? He was always with Minori as well. “Hello.. Kamil isn't it?” Klaus leant on the counter as he walked in.

“Can I help you with anything?” Maybe he was here to buy a special someone a gift? They did spend all that time together. Amber eyes searched the gentleman's, surely someone coming to get flowers for a lady would be a bit more.. shifty, or nervous at least. He raised his brow in anticipation of the answer.

“Sure.” It wasn’t that big of a deal as long as it wasn’t one of the older folk of Oak Tree Town. Either way, he wasn’t too happy about bothering anyone, but a dare was a dare.

Minori shifted her weight on one foot as she waited patiently outside his door. She would have laughed at the irony, her being outside Cam’s abode instead of the other way around, had it not been for the reason why she was there.

Go skinny dipping with Cam, She thought wryly, a dry laugh escaping her as she stared at the wrinkled slip of paper in her hand. Well, now it wasn’t Cam bearing strange requests this time around, she noted sarcastically though with a hint of humor somewhere in there. Her failed attempts at making herself feel better were halted, however, as the door opened; revealing the man she had been looking for.

“Go skinny dipping with me.” She blurted before she had the chance to rethink her words. Her lips almost twisted into an embarrassed frown before she showed him the paper that held the atrocious dare. She decided she’d wait for him to decline, knowing this was probably a weird dare, even for Cam. Then they could pretend this dare never existed and go on with their own brand of strangeness. But then again, Cam was always a wild card. She lifted her brown-green orbs up to peer into his, waiting for his reaction.

"Hey, Minori. Do I suck at kissing?" He asked curiously, totally interrupting in the middle of her working.

Minori had been just started tilling another patch of land in her garden when Cam had spoken up. Yep. It’s definitely becoming a regular occurrence to have him show up here. She managed to continue tilling a bit more before his question reached her ears. What in the world..? Oh. Was that kissing game still going on?

“…?” She still had the sharp end of her hoe embedded in the ground as she stared at him owlishly. “How would I know?”

A single, lovely pink rose was left on the counter of your restaurant. It has a small tag that reads: 'Happy Flower Day, from Cam'

Raeger blinks at the pink rose. When did it get there? Probably while I was away at the Trading Depot, the chef thinks, bring the tag closer to his face.

He smiles. “You too,” he whispers, taking the flower to a vase.

It was closing time at the clinic, and Angela was finished cleaning behind the counter and organizing the bottles on the shelf behind her. Her attention landed, once again, on the single rose laying on the counter. When had he came in? How did he manage to do so unnoticed and leave this rose here? Angela wondered, as a light blush spread across her cheeks. She wasn't expecting anything today. Why would she? Not many people talk to her, and even fewer manage to become her friend. She thought about the name on the card. Cam. That was the flower enthusiast, right? Strange, their conversations weren't exactly frequent...yet he thought to bring her a flower. A rose, too. Such a beautiful red rose, and it was all hers. Angela reached out hesitantly, afraid that as soon as she touched it it would vanish, and this would turn out to be just a dream. With a small smile she brought the rose to her nose, and it smelled lovely.
