Summary:
“Do you always lure your customers into buying your shi— books like this?” “Please elaborate on what you mean by like this,” Ivan answers calmly, a smug smile plastered on his face. “I see nothing wrong with engaging with my customers and getting acquainted with them. Better to know your clientele, hm?” He takes a step forward, entering Till’s personal space —Till would back down, but right behind him stand the shelves. Ivan curls his fingers around the book Till is holding. He brushes his fingers with his own as he does so, lingering there purposefully, before he eventually takes the volume to rest it on the shelves. A sigh escapes Till’s lips, and only then does he realize he had stopped breathing. Yes. Infuriating, just like he said.
Or: Till meets bookseller Ivan after being dragged to the newly opened bookstore by Sua. Things go about as (un)expected as they can.

For a second he'd wondered if everything else had been a dream. If he was finally waking up now, after all these years. That Never Come Down had never been a hit, that he'd never been famous at all. That it was him and Matt who were going on tour. That was something they used to talk about. After booking the Rivoli, they'd tour Canada and the U.S. as Nirvanna the Band. A road trip adventure. Jay had such a clear image in his mind of Matt coming up with some crazy promotional stunt for them, something like jumping into the Grand Canyon. “You with me, Bird?” But no, that couldn't be right. Jay was the same Jay he'd always been. He was still in his Hawaiian shirt from the concert. He was in restraints. “Did you—" He blinked at Matt in front of him. "You kidnapped me?” Matt stood up, a little taken back. “How else would I be able to talk to you?" God, they'd ended up in a Misery homage?
On the first night of Canadian Rockstar Jay McCarrol’s world tour, the man disappears.

Sansa knew Jon married her—married Alayne—for the Vale, or maybe, because of his past, he saw her as a fellow bastard and meant to raise her up the same as his people did for him, how they chose Lord Eddard’s sole surviving son as King in the North. But when she looked at him, she saw nothing of the sort in his eyes, only a flash of desire, the way a man ought to look at his wife, before he steadied his gaze. If this was truly wrong, she wondered, then why did the gods let it feel so right?
