The big guy (the protector) actually tried to be "civil" at first and asked him to apologize nicely, but of course, the lil guy didn't show any respect. So, he decided to take matters into his own hands… literally. He’s not necessarily trying to "threaten" him, he’s just trying to secure the apology she deserves. Though, yeah… when someone that big asks you to apologize, it probably doesn’t feel very optional 😅

the frightened onlookers were meant to be a big focus, but i had to simplify them in the end because it was honestly a bit too much for my brain 🥲

i put more focus into scale and perspective this time — hopefully that still shines through!

i’ve been dealing with a bit of an art slump and kept reworking this because it never felt right. still not 100% out of it, but this one felt presentable enough 🥲

For this piece, I initially went for a yandere vibe and tried to mimic a "manga" style, but I think my original art style still shines through lol;; 😅

i’ve got a backlog of requests, but with the holiday coming up i’ll be chipping away at them!

was cooking breakfast again so naturally thinking about doing it with a tiny. sausage links as long as they are tall. a plate of toast and eggs, each one the size of a king mattress. berries as large or larger than their head. butter as big as a bathtub.

but the scale itself is just the half of it—swinging open a fridge is like moving a mountain, and you do it so casually, just to bounce your foot and ponder inside. carrying a carton of eggs would be like lifting a bus for someone of their height, but you do it with ease and delicacy, putting it down as careful as you do them. cracking an eggshell is a couple taps to you, but they’d have to hit the hell out of it just to crack it, never mind the mess of getting the egg out the shell. waves of heat washing over their little form on the counter while you cook with a stovetop and pan they’d absolutely scorch themself with if they even tried to get close enough to use—if they could even see over the pan at all.

maybe your hands are too full to hold them when you’re done cooking, so you put them on your plate to ferry to the table. and there, at that great plateau, is where you sit to eat those sausage links as long as they are tall. to carve out a chunk of butter from that tub and scrape it over the mattress-sized toast. to eat your eggs with a fork taller than they are, with prongs just sharp enough to be frightening. to pop the berries as large as their head in your mouth like they’re nothing, and then offer one with a smile. this is their breakfast, too, if they have the appetite to share.

What if I was cuddling in bed with a sleepy giant who's nuzzling me to their cheek and giving me lazy pecks all over. And just before they doze off they sleepily mumble something like "Man, I'm so glad I didn't eat you when i found you". And I never realized that had been an option. So I spend the rest of the night quietly panicking while being clutched tightly against their face, staring intensely at their mouth and trying to figure out if they actually meant it or not <3

pred-prey friendship! childhood friends. they're young adults so the pred's latent development just finished and they've finally moved out into a pred-sized apartment. All is well, right? Kinda.

The prey finally has time to hang out again, they decide to have dinner at the pred's place. Pred spent hours cooking. When they open the door and see their prey-sized friend they finally remember that there is now a significant portion sizing difference that the pred did not account for.

Queue the prey snorting a bit as their friend helps them up into the chair, and they're faced with a plate the size of their torso and a cup the size of their entire thigh.
