I do! I’m not great at it so usually just a classic Jack o’Lantern, but once upon I time I did have the vomiting pumpkin down pat (not my picture, I don’t appear to have any on my phone, but this is exactly like what I’ve done before)

@fiona-fififi I wanted to comment on this particular part of your reply to @meganwwrites because it stuck out to me. Normally I would 100% agree with this. Not only do I usually find it petty but it’s also useless, and you’re spot on about people thinking that fandom is more important in these circumstances.

However... In this instance, I actually understand. Because there was a lot that led up to that point.

First, as I mentioned in my earlier reboot of your post with my comments, the show made a huge promotional push for the Ian/Mickey relationship in season 5. Special promos, special interviews, the marketing team they hired to create and distribute special “G*llavich” merch that was not available to buy. They wanted fandom to promote this, they courted larger fandom blogs for this very purpose.

Second, the writers from the show actively engaged the fandom on social media. Tweeting, doing periscope live videos, etc. Every week they were doing this, making comments like this on a regular basis:

This is just one tweet, but their commentary and baiting was constant. So it kind of turned into a “biting the hand that feeds you” situation. On top of that, no one was addressing the Noel situation after season 5, so the sudden radio silence after baiting and engaging everyone for months only further ramped up everyone’s frustration.

Now I absolutely think there are a lot of fans who have taken it way too far with their comments. But I don’t blame people for complaining and doing it loudly. If they hadn’t went so far out of their way to break the barrier between us and them, this would have probably been a very different story.

Dream trip: Wildwood NJ to the beach and boardwalk needs to happen soon but i'm currently on my yearly 'dream' trip to our huge car show so at least that's good lol but it's been nothing but problems so far with my car and the hotel so hopefully it gets better!!

7. Top 5 fandoms (I'm assuming by fandoms they mean interactive fandoms?)

The Zutara fandom. I don't participate much in it these days but the Zutara fandom is the shit. I have never seen a more creative fandom in my life and over ten years since ATLA ended the fandom is still kicking it at the top. A lot of the outside fandom seems to hate us lmao. But it's okay because Zutara shippers pretty much have our own little corner of the fandom.

The Shameless/Gallavich tumblr fandom. The twitter fandom is a hot mess but I truly love the Gallavich mutuals I have met on here. You are all so intelligent and thoughtful. It's been fun being in the fandom with you. Gallavich also has some of the best fic written for it that I've ever read.

The Killing Eve tumblr fandom. Again, another fandom that's a hot mess on twitter but great on tumblr lol. The Killing Eve tumblr fandom is for the most part super chill. We're all just vibing and stanning our murder wives. This fandom also creates A+ meta.

The Life is Strange fandom. Sure the Pricefield vs Amberprice ship wars get annoying but it brings me certain joy to know that it's two f/f ships that people are fighting about lol. I always feel at home in fandoms for f/f ships because most of the time 99% of it is made up by wlw.

????? Genuinely don't know what to put here. Every other fandom I've been in has pretty much sucked lol.

The She-Ra and the Princesses of Power finale. The ending of a cartoon has never made me more fulfilled.

The F.R.I.E.N.D.S finale. Minus Rachel getting off that plane.

The ATLA finale. I had some issues with it but it was overall pretty powerful.

???? And honestly I think that might be it. Finales very often end up missing the mark for me sadly :( I can think of way more finales that I didn't like lol. Maybe I just need to watch more shores.
