Fiorire, the Dragon’s Adoration
Fiorire is an epithet of the Luminous Dragon. Legends describe her as a fragment of the Dragon’s Heart that took a physical form and is the personification of the love the Luminous Dragon has for humanity. The first time her presence was recorded in history was shortly after Queen Caesonia brought Domino out of famine and war, Fiorire was the one to bring spring back to the planet and let the land flourish.
Following that, most historical records of her are in reference to her bestowing the Dragon’s Flame. She is said to reveal herself to the one her heart resonates with and giving them the flame. With it, they earn her protection in exchange for becoming the guiding light for Domino’s people. Though, her presence disappeared shortly after Princess Daphne of Sparx was chosen as nymph.
Some say it was because her strength had weakened since her birth, others hypothesized it was due to Valtor’s and his own fragment of the Dragon’s Flame that warded her off. Whichever it was, her disappearance led to the Fall of Domino, trapping the planet into an eternal winter where no life could thrive. Though, six girls called the “Winx Club” had returned Fiorire and used her blessing to bring back Domino. Together, they brought life back to the planet and spring could bloom once again.

In truth, Fiorire is the form Bloom took when she sacrificed her existence to return the Luminous Dragon’s Presence to the universe. They have not existed in the world in millennia, leaving them without a god. With constant threats to the world and others’ safety, Bloom made the choice to take up the Dragon’s role, as a means to keep the people she cares about away from harm. She’d rather live a life where she observes the world from a far, than make her friends fight another day for the sake of their future.
In the end, her sacrifice rewrote the universe, erasing her existence as Princess Bloom of Sparx, and writing her fate as Fiorire. She still watches over the Winx closely, but the only person she’s left to truly interact with is the current holder of the Dragon’s Flame.
No one remembers her past life, at least, that’s what she was told when taking up the role. “Bloom” would not exist in anyone’s mind. It would all be replaced with “Fiorire”. Though, that’s not the entire truth. Fragments of her past still exist in a select few, a few who mourn her presence and are searching for answers to “Bloom’s” disappearance.
