Fire Emblem Three Houses: A/B/O Headcannons
I love this game and the fact that I haven’t written for it is a shame. I’m picking my favorite boys and adding in A/B/O because why not? Everyone should talk to me about Fire Emblem lol
Warnings: Talks of Heats and Ruts but nothing explicit
Claude:
He’s either an easy going alpha or the only beta leader the Alliance has seen for many years. Claude fits easily into any social situation and people tend to ignore his secondary gender (much to his advantage).
If he’s an alpha, people wonder if he has any kind of alpha instincts at all. He always stays calm and is the level head in stressful situations. The only time he’s traditionally ‘alpha’ is if he’s angry or you’re threatened. It takes a long time for Claude to get frustrated enough to snap but when he does it makes everyone take a step back. If you’re threatened or harmed, the reaction can be either worse, lots of growling and scenting happening.
He acts the same way as a beta and this drives his want for an open and equal world. People have always told him he’s ‘too much like this’ or ‘not enough of that’; he’s an outsider to his own gender. Claude wants a world that’s equal for all genders and he’s determined to make that happen.
Felix:
Felix is another character that feels like he can fit in with all of the secondary genders. He can be the stereotypically alpha, the angry omega or the beta that’s done with everyone’s bullshit. All are endearing in their own way but these will focus on the omega and beta versions.
As an omega, Felix tries his best to hide who he is. He’s not a trophy for someone to put on a pedestal and he’ll be damned if he’s going to be used as a crest baby machine. It’s better to let Felix approach you on his own in this instance but everyone knows that it would take forever if you let that happen. Just make sure to make it obvious you like him (in private).
Felix is tired if he’s a beta. Most of the Blue Lions are either alphas or omegas and he is tired of everyone wanting him to solve their problems. He’s not a ‘mediator’ type of beta and he makes that very clear. It takes a little while to convince him that you’re serious about being with him but once you do, he’s the most loyal person you could ever get.
Caspar:
He is the feistiest omega that anyone has ever seen. Caspar is bright, upbeat and ready to fight at any opportunity. This goes against the omega stereotype and a lot of people don’t know what to do about that. His parents never cared because he was the second son and being a noble made it so his ‘bizarre’ behavior was never addressed.
If asked, Caspar will claim that he’s always been this way and presenting as an omega did not to change him. It’s very eye opening and people can’t help but respect his honesty. He never really thinks about his gender in a grand scale and doesn’t factor it into his interactions with people.
Caspar is notorious for forgetting about his heats. He often doesn’t realize that they’re coming up and pushes himself if he feels like he’s slowing down. What he thinks as ‘not training enough’ is actually his body saying ‘heats coming up’. You often have to remind him and help him get ready, gently prodding him more towards home than out in the world. He’s grateful for this, especially since he knows he can be a hand full.
Linhardt:
Linhardt is an alpha but it’s too much of a pain for him to pay attention to most of the time. He doesn’t care about his gender on any given day, only his research and crests. He has looked into gender and crests but doesn’t want that to be the focus of his work. People already have issues with bloodlines, he doesn’t want to get too deep into that.
He finds his ruts annoying more than anything. Linhardt doesn’t enjoy being pulled from his work but even he has to follow his own instincts. It’s better if he has someone to share it with but he doesn’t have partners often and isn’t looking for frivolous pleasure.
Linhardt has a dream for the future. He wants to continue his research and have a home in the countryside, something quiet and full of good napping places. He would be completely happy letting you run the money and become a stay at home spouse. As long as you’re for this plan, he won’t be letting you go any time soon.

Fire Emblem Awakening Grimleal Prince Robin AU
This was originally prompted by inktober, but I’m just really into this AU now. Also, I’ve discovered a newfound love for drawing ornate outfits. Read the previous parts for context!
Part [1] [2] 3 [4]
Moonlight shines through the stained glass windows of the large, empty Plegian ballroom. A young man enters alone, his golden and black jewelry rings with every move he makes and his translucent cape trails behind him. Multicolored flecks of light shine on the tiled floor of the dark room, almost like a sea of bright flowers in a dark field. Still though, the room feels hollow and lonely.
The silver-haired prince walks to the center of the room and whispers a spell. With a flick of his hands, every candle in the room is set aflame and the ballroom is lit. He looks to the violet mark on his left hand which glows for a moment and sighs. His hand balls into a fist and he sets it back to his side, not wanting to feel its eyes upon him. ‘Only a moment. It won’t hurt anyone,’ the prince promises himself. He looks around the room and slowly draws in a deep breath.
His mind wanders to the night of his beautillion ball so long ago. He thinks of how full and lively this empty room had once been. He thinks of the music, the guests, and especially of the blue-haired prince he had met that night. Chrom of the Halidom of Ylisse. He tries his best to recall the warmth of his hand, the kindness of his words, and most of all, his smile.
“So you’ve never left the palace? Ever?” Prince Chrom asked with disbelief in his dark blue eyes.
Prince Robin nodded in response. “Father says it’s to keep me safe. He says my blood is too precious to be put in danger,” he spoke as he stared down at his left hand. His right hand tucked itself onto where his crest was hidden beneath the cloth. “Someday I’ll leave the palace. I can’t just be stuck here forever.”
A kind smile was on the other prince’s face. “I can see why they named you Robin,” Prince Chrom chuckled.
“Why?” He asked.
“You live like a caged bird.”
At this, the Plegian prince grew pensive. “I guess you’re right.” He siged and looked off into the distance.
“Prince Robin, if I may speak boldly,” Prince Chrom suddenly perked up on the stone bench they sat on together. “Should you ever leave this gilded cage of yours, you are welcome to my home in the palace at any time you like.” He said with a warmth that took Robin by surprise. “ But I don’t want this to be the only time we meet before then. In the meantime, I’d love to be your friend and visit once in a while.”
“Prince Chrom...” He was again taken by surprise at this man’s warmth.
“Please, just call me Chrom.” His warmth continued to radiate, causing a blush to the silver-haired prince’s face.
“Then... Robin. You may also call me just Robin.”
At this, Chrom smiled. “ Then I’m happy to be your friend, Robin.”
The memory of Chrom’s smile and the way his name rolled off the prince’s tongue makes Robin smile. He thinks of the talks they had during his previous visits, the fits of laughter they’d shared, and most importanly, Chrom’s promise that he would steal him away and free him from this cursed fate.
But would he really do it? If so, how would he do it? Chrom said he would pluck the stars in the sky for him. He said he would find a way and to wait for him. But for how long? How he wished he could’ve run off with him the night he offered it, but they would have been easily caught and punished. They would need a better way to free Robin from his gilded cage.
It had been weeks and Robin’s Ceremony was fast-approaching. Each passing day filled him with dread of the horrible truth that he still felt was inevitable. Had Chrom’s sweet words been only for comfort alone?
Either way, Robin’s ache for the prince’s presence had only grown to a staggering longing within him. The only way Robin can see him nowadays is in the past, so he brings himself there. The prince closes his eyes and moves his feet. He hums to the music he remembers from that warm, fateful night.
“Your Highness, there you are!” A voice suddenly breaks his reverie. Robin flinches in surprise and looks to see who it is as his cape gathers at his feet from the twirl he had just made. He directs his eyes up at the grand staircase with an apprehensive expression, embarrassed about being caught with his stolen moment.
tell me you’ll remember me. tell me i won’t have to beg for it.
