You and Chan rarely fought. When you two did, it was easily resolved. But tonight, it was different. It all started because you weren’t happy with your singing.
“Chan, it still sounds terrible,” you complained, stretching your arms, “let’s do it again.”
“I told you it’s fine,” he explained again. He was exhausted. He’d been working with you for the past two hours.
“Chris…I’m serious. Can we please just do it one more time?”
He huffed, “you’re being difficult right now.”
“Excuse me?!?” He looked down and realized he did let go of the button. He didn’t mean for you to hear that.
“You sound good. Why can’t you just believe that,” he argued, closing his laptop.
“I’m sorry I want it to be perfect because I care!”
“I’m the producer and if I say it’s fine, it’s fine! This would've been so much easier if I never picked you,” he yelled not thinking.
It took him a moment to realize what he said. When he did, he looked right up at you. Tears were streaming down your face. He went to get up to go over and say he didn’t mean it, but you rushed past him grabbing your phone and keys before rushing out of the studio. Chan wanted to run after you. But he didn’t know what to say. What to say to make you believe him, so he let you go. He sat down in his chair and hid his face in his hands. He was defeated.
Jeongin was the first to notice something was off. Every morning he’d wake up to the sound of you in the kitchen and the smell of whatever you were making. But this morning, you weren’t there at all. He knew Chan was home, so that should’ve meant you were there too. Maybe she had something early to do, he thought, that’s probably it. But his theory was so wrong.
Everyone was waiting in the practice room, goofing off. Everyone except Chan, who looked annoyed. You hurried up and closed the door behind you, “sorry I’m late.”
“It’s fine. We should get started,” Minho said, stretching, “let’s go.”
The actual practice part went fine. Nothing dramatic, but that didn’t last long. “Everyone coming to movie night,” Jisung asked, grabbing his things.
“I can’t,” you said, grabbing your bag and throwing it over your shoulder, “I’m not feeling great, so I’m gonna stay at my dorm. I’m sorry.”
“But…”
“I’m sorry sweetheart. I promise I’ll come over once I’m feeling better.”
You left all the boys there dumbfounded. This wasn’t like you. You never missed movie night. They knew something happened. In sync, they all turned their heads towards Chan. “What did you do,” Jeongin glared.
“What did you do to Peaches,” Felix questioned, “what did you do to our mother wolf?”
He didn’t answer their questions. He just walked past and out the studio.
Minho and Han canceled movie night that week. The boys got into their children only group chat to discuss.
Mom’s Actual Favorite 🦊: Something is very very wrong here. Peaches hasn’t been sleeping here. She’s staying at her actual dorm.
Pudding Prince 🍮: They’re definitely fighting. And not a normal fight. This is big.
The Cutest Member🐿: what should we do? We can’t let them break up!!
Puppy 🐶: Then we need a plan. Anyone got anything?
Mom’s Favorite 🐥: We need to find out what it’s about. We figure that out. We get them back together. Easy.
Dwaekki: I hope it’s that simple
Picasso 🥟: Let’s split up. Felix, myself and Han will talk to Peaches. Minho, Changbin and Seungmin, you guys talk to Chan. Jeongin, hold tight. You live with both of them so we don’t need them fighting over you picking favorites and making your life awkward.
Mom’s Actual Favorite 🦊: okay but I’m silently supporting mother wolf.
Dwaekki: Kiss up. Let’s talk later.
It had been two weeks since that night and things only got worse. The silent treatment mainly. The boys who sided with you stayed by your side at all times. It was another day in the studio when everything blew up again.
You came in quietly. “Ready,” Chan asked, setting up. You nodded. The music came on and you sang your lines.
“Do it again. Add more feeling,” he stated. You nodded, running a hand through your hair. You tried again, but you knew it was just as bad.
“Are you not feeling it? Because you can go if not. Don't waste my time,” he dryly stated looking at his laptop.
“Dude, calm down,” Han said, taking a seat next to Chan, “Peaches, let’s switch it up. Then go home okay?"
He stopped when he saw tears in your eyes, “okay.” He played another song for you, as he took control of your recording. Chan walked out of the studio, Changbin not following far behind. “What happened with you and Peaches,” Changbin asked, arms crossed leaning against the wall across from Chan.
“I told Peaches I wish I never picked her. I was tired and I wasn’t thinking. I never regretted picking her, but I still said it and I can’t figure out what to do. And now I'm just irritated with everything."
“You better fix this.” Changbin pushed himself off the wall and headed back. Chan slid down to the ground, sitting on the cold floor with his head in his hands.
Dwaekki: He told her that he wished he never picked her
Mom’s Favorite 🐥: That’s really bad. Can we even fix this? Is she gonna leave?
Puppy 🐶: Great! Who gets full custody of us?
Pudding Prince 🍮: I have a plan!
Picasso 🥟: If it involves anything illegal, I’m out.
Pudding Prince 🍮: Rude!! Innie, can you guilt Chan? Make him feel so bad he has no choice but to figure it out. Felix, you get Mother Wolf out of her dorm.
Mom’s Actual Favorite 🦊: of course! 👍
The Cutest Member🐿: then what?
Pudding Prince 🍮: We wait to see what happens.
Jeongin had spent the next two days making sure to talk about how much he missed you and how he must have been a real jerk to hurt you. He was so annoyed he left two hours early for practice. While Felix called you and asked to meet him at the dance studio two hours before practice.
You sat in the hallway outside the studio, headphones on listening to your playlist. It contained your favorite songs from the boys or songs that made you think of them. You were finally distracted from all the emotions until one recording came on. It wasn’t a song. It was a voice recording from Chan.
“Hey Peaches. It’s me. I hope you’re doing well today. If you aren’t, it's gonna get better. Don’t get discouraged. I’m proud of you and I’m happy to have you in my life. Love you.”
That’s when the dam broke. Tears were streaming down your face. You weren’t sure if you were upset with him or yourself for not trying to talk to him. Suddenly, you heard footsteps coming up the hall. Someone crouched down next to you holding you close to their chest.
“What’s wrong,” the male questioned with concern. It was Chan "What's got you crying babygirl?”
You just sniffled. You were too upset to even respond. He took a deep breath before he continued on. “I didn’t mean anything I said that night. I was exhausted and I took it out on you. I should’ve never done that. I’m sorry.”
You looked at him, “you don’t regret picking me?”
He placed a kiss on your temple, “not once. I don’t regret choosing you for this group or as my girlfriend. How about we get something to eat and come back for practice okay?”
“I’d like that.”
He pecked your lips softly, “I love you Peaches.”
“I love you too,” you replied, grabbing his right hand, intertwining your fingers with his before heading out.
Later at practice, you and Chan walked back into the practice room holding hands. I.N’s eyes lit up when he saw this. “Okay guys,” Chan announced, letting go of your hand, “let’s get back to work.”
Felix stood next to Chan, “everything back to normal? I don’t have to worry about your two breaking up? I don’t know who’d win the custody battle, and I’d be sad if we all got split up.”
Chan laughed. After that day, you and Chan made the rule that all fights between any members must be settled within 24 hours. You also let the boys know that if you and Chan hypothetically did break up, you got full custody.

You had never been to fashion week before. It was something you dreamed of for so long. Chan had a few surprises for you. He had spent months preparing for this trip because he wanted it to be a trip you’d never forget. He had been working for months on this. Every detail was planned out.
The first thing on his list: take you to a fashion show. Thankfully for him, he was a Fendi ambassador so that was easy. You both had gotten all dressed up for the event. He came out in his see through lace shirt and you couldn’t help but giggle and blush like a weirdo. “I’m guessing I look okay,” he asked, putting on his jacket.
“Stays are gonna love it,” you answered, putting on your lipstick. You were wearing a sheer lace v neck dress with wide straps, the lace matched his shirt. Your makeup was light except for your lip color which was a deep burgundy color. He came up from behind you and hugged you, “I think I like your look just a little better.” You turned around and kissed him quickly.
“Come on loverboy, let’s go before we’re late.”
You posed with Chan, his arm around your waist. Getting to the event went very smoothly. You were so excited for this. Your first fashion show at fashion week. And you got to do it with the boy you loved. But suddenly his arm was no longer around your waist. You looked down to see him and he got down on one knee. You started to freak out. Was he really proposing? In front of everyone? What were the managers gonna say? How were STAYs gonna react? Why here? Why now? Was this the big surprise he had for you?
And then you realized that he wasn’t holding a ring. He was holding a hoop earring. Your hoop earring. You reached up to your right ear to see it wasn’t there. It must have fallen out while you two were walking. Your eyes widened and your face turned bright red. You were so embarrassed with how you were acting.
The day was over. The Fendi show was done and you only managed to embarrass yourself just that one time. Chan held your hand as you walked towards your hotel room. He entered the keycard and gestured for you to enter first. When you got into the room, you noticed that there was a table set for two on your balcony, complete with candles and everything. You looked back at Chan. “Surprise,” he said, hugging you from behind, “I knew you said you always wanted a candlelight dinner overlooking the city below. And I figured what better time than now.”
“You remembered that,” you asked, approaching the table. You had said it in passing such a long time ago. You figured that he had forgotten it.
“I remember everything when it comes to you,” he replied, setting his bag down on the bed before putting his hands in his jacket pockets, “I love you Peaches.”
“I love you too Chris.”
“I feel like an idiot. I thought you really were proposing to me,” you complained as you eat more of the gelato that you and Chan ordered.
He chuckled, “it’s fine. I probably shouldn’t have gotten down on one knee to pick up your earring. Besides, I have my proposal all planned out.”
“You do? Tell me more,” you questioned excitedly, leaning over the table.
“Can’t,” he replied, “But you’ll know.”
You pouted, “not even a little hint?”
“Not one.”
He laughed. You were so cute when you were determined. Little did you know he had a ring with him. He’d bought it and has been carrying it for the last six months, waiting for the perfect moment to propose. He’ll know it when he sees it.

Day 19: Meeting the Family for Christmas (Bang Chan x Fem Reader)
You were sweating the whole plane ride to Sydney. This was the first time meeting his parents and siblings. And it was the holidays too. So, you not only had to make a great impression, you also had to get them something nice. Even though he told you that his mother said that you didn’t need to bring them anything. As you landed in Sydney, you felt a hand squeeze yours. You looked up at Chan, “it’s gonna be okay. They’ll love you,” he reassured you, as you two walked to the pickup location. “I hope so,” you answered. When you reached the pick up location. You saw a couple holding up a sign that said Chris and his Little Miss.
“Chris, we missed you,” his mom said as she hugged him tightly. She didn’t want to let go. He was her eldest and it had been so long since she’d seen him. Suddenly you felt eyes on you, “you must be his girlfriend,” his father said, smiling at you. Even with a smile, you were petrified. Was the smile fake? Were you gonna have a pop quiz? You nodded timidly, shutting your eyes waiting for the impact.
“No need to be scared,” his dad chuckled, placing a hand on your shoulder, “we don’t bite. Now, let me help you with your bags and we’ll head to our place. Hannah, Lucas and Berry are waiting.”
When you reached his house it was beautiful. For being someone so warm, it still felt like that traditional, snowy Christmas. Lights were hung everywhere. It reminded you of your own childhood where outdoor decorations were very important. But you couldn’t get distracted by lights now. You still had people to impress. So far, you and his parents hit it off. You weren’t scared or nervous and they seemed to like you. If Lucas was anything like his brother and father, you had nothing to worry about. Chan said Berry loved everyone, so you didn’t need to fear her. But Hannah. She was your biggest concern now. You didn’t think she was gonna be mean necessarily, you were just afraid she wouldn’t like you like the rest of his family. When you opened the door. Hannah was already at the front door. Eyes fixed on you.
“So you’re her,” she asked wide eyed. She grabbed your arm and dragged you away to her room. You didn’t even have a minute to think before you were sitting in her desk chair while she sat on her bed.
“As your new sister,” she started off, “I need to know everything there is to know about you. And not from my brother's lovestruck description. Give me all the details.”
That was not what you were expecting at all. You figured she’d maybe be…calmer. Like she’d get to know you like the rest of the family. But no, she was determined to know all your secrets too.
After three hours sharing secrets with your “new best friend” and dinner with your boyfriend’s family, you laid on Chan’s bed, snuggled into his side. “I told you there was nothing to worry about,” he said matter of factly as he played with your hair.
“I’m still worried,” you quietly said, “I think your sister is gonna blackmail me.” He laughed. Even though he knew Hannah wasn’t, he could see how you came to that assumption. He was happy that they liked you and you were at least a little bit calmer.

Fashion was one of your big passions. So when you got the offer to be a brand ambassador for Fendi, you were over the moon. You stood in your and Chan’s hotel room, checking your appearance one more time. Your black silk dress fits you like a glove. You kept everything else with your look simple not wanting to overshadow the dress itself. You didn’t even notice Chan was staring.
“Did I ever tell you that you look beautiful,” he said leaning against the frame of the door.
“Only about every five minutes,” you replied, grabbing your leather clutch off the table before approaching him, placing a quick kiss on his cheek, “let’s go lover boy. We have an event to get to.”
To say you were nervous was an understatement. You were petrified. Not only was this your first event as the new brand ambassador, but you were afraid of history repeating itself and accidentally embarrassing yourself like you did in Milan. Chan kept assuring you that everything was gonna go smoothly and he had no plans of accidentally proposing to you. But now, you were left alone as he was performing. These were the times you hated. Chan was the extrovert in your relationship. He’d do most of the talking and try to get you to break out of your shell more. If he was angry, you’d calm him down. If you were upset but too afraid to say anything, he’d do whatever it takes to make you feel better. But now, you had to stop being shy and awkward. Suddenly, the head designer of Fendi approached you.
“Chan did a very good job at the song,” she praised handing you a glass of water.
“He’s extremely talented,” you admitted taking a big swig, “I’m in awe every time.”
“Would you like to do a project too? Maybe a capsule collection? Chan can never stop talking about your eye for fashion.”
Thank goodness you didn’t have any water in your mouth because you would have spat it out right on her. A capsule collection? Your very own fashion collection? This was a dream come true.
“Really? Like a full collection? Oh my god, thank you so much,” you cheerfully asked, trying to refrain yourself from hugging the designer. She answered that she was looking forward to working with you and she would send out some supplies to you soon.
You sat on the couch of the studio, fabric swatches spread out everywhere on the floor as Chan worked on music. You were looking over everything you had from solids to patterns to buttons. The colors ranged from blacks to pinks. Laces and leathers. You pushed your glasses up from the bridge of your nose. You had so many ideas, but you weren’t sure if they’d look right. “Chan,” you yelled loud enough so he could hear you through his headphones, “can you come over here?”
He took his headphones off and headed over towards you. When he was close enough, you got up and help up swatches to him.
“Too much print,” you sighed, setting the floral print you worked so hard to design on the table picking up a plain black swatch.
Chan chuckled, “what’re you doing?”
“I need to see what it looks like on a real person instead of a manikin. I need this to look right. A mix of hard and soft. Feminine and masculine.”
“Peaches and Chan?”
“Peaches and Chan.”
He smiled down at you as you sat down in front of your mess again, watching you do your thing. Fashion and concepts were always your thing so seeing you in the zone was cute. “Maybe we need a lace,” you commented, moving the black lace swatch next to a few swatches you had paired together earlier. Chan had no idea what was going on in your head for once, but whatever it was, it would be unapologetically you.

So I've been seeing a lot of people posting their fic recommendations and I thought I will too.
@maxinehufflepuffprincess: Bang Chan x Ninth Member Female Reader: Mama Bear- She has little fics that encompass her ninth member Honey and her relationship with all the boys. She inspired me to create my two ninth member fics. Every time I see a new fic come out, I'm always happy. There is not one bad one in the whole collection. She is also coming out with series for the other members too.
@justauthoring: My Faithful Guard (Bang Chan x Female Reader)- A royal guard x princess fic. It gives Yona of the Dawn vibes in the best way possible. I can't begin to tell you how many times I read it. It's that good. Not going to lie, I wish this was a series
@imnotsupposedtobedoingthis: Arrows and Crowns (Bang Chan x Female Reader) - as you can tell, I'm a lover of a good royal guard Bang Chan x Princess Reader. I requested this one and it was everything I could ever want and more. Also, wish this was a series.
@imnotsupposedtobedoingthis: I'm sorry, I love you (Han Jisung x Female Reader) - It's a good angsty fic with a happy ending. A fic I requested as well. It's the perfect fic when you don't know what you want but you know you want something that's not a super crazy AU like pirates or werewolves. It's just best friends who become lovers after a few roadblocks.
@straykidsramblings: Jamais Vu (Han Jisung x Female Reader) - This is one of the first Han Jisung fics I ever read and it's still one of my favorites. If you love a college AU or a best friends to lovers fic, you'll love this!
@love-bitesx: Star Player (Bang Chan x Female Reader)- I have so much to say about this one. I had a post a while ago about fics I was looking for and one of them was a Jock Bang Chan x nerdy reader fake dating AU. @love-bitesx decided to start writing it and I was so happy about it. It's everything I wanted and more. I get so excited when I see the notification that another part is out.
@sparklingskz: Shoot Your Shot (Hyunjin x Reader) - Super cute. You don't usually see jock Hyunjin fics (or at least I don't) and this was very good. It's the perfect fic to read when you want something cute and anime-like.
There is another but sadly, I don't have the link or the name. It was a Bang Chan x Fem Reader fic. He was an ex-hockey player and he was reader's fake boyfriend for her toxic sister's wedding to reader's ex-boyfriend. It was so good, but idk why but I can't find it. Ugh!! If anyone knows it (and can send me the link), please do.
Fan calls were usually fun. You did get your fair share of haters, but for the most part, they were all super nice. You got on the phone with one Stay who was all dressed up for Halloween. She was dressed up as the Queen of Hearts, “hi. How’re you?”
“I’m great,” you answer, you said fixing your hair, “can I first say you look amazing. I feel like I need a good costume this year.”
“Thank you. I made it myself!”
“Seriously?!?! That’s amazing.”
“Thanks. So, random question. Werewolf Chan or Vampire Chan? Which is better?”
At this point everyone knew you and Chan were a couple, even if you never confirmed anything. So getting a question like this was nothing. “Werewolf. Vampire Chan was great, don’t get me wrong. But werewolf Chan is just something else. Call me weird, but I read way too much werewolf fanfiction. Don’t tell him. He’ll think I’m crazy.”
What you didn’t know was Chan was outside and heard every word. And he had an idea. Something a little fun for Halloween.
Chan had spent the whole evening getting ready for your surprise. He was able to find his Wolfgang look easily and he got so many ears and wolf accessories from fans that he could dress everyone in Stray Kids and their stylist up as wolves. It took him a while to do all the makeup though. He watched at least twelve tutorials before getting it right. He took a deep breath. I think I need to do a few more chest exercises, he thought, grabbing some dumbbells he kept in his room.
He heard the door open and got into position, lounging on the bed. The door to his room opened. “I’ve been waiting for you, my dear,” he growled, trying to sound cooler. His eyes widened when he saw that it was Jeongin, who now looked completely traumatized, mouth hanging wide open.
You had gone out with Momo and Sana to a girls only Halloween party at one of the local clubs. You each had a fun night full of girl talk, dancing and laughs. You went dressed as Peach Fuzz. A short light brown furry vest, brown bralette, furry skirt to match your vest as well as furry boots, fingerless gloves and of course the tail and ears. Chan had told you that you looked amazing before you left and said that he’d be waiting for you, but when you got back, someone else greeted you at the door.
“Noona! I think something’s wrong with Chan Hyung,” Jeongin panicked, dragging you into the dorm.
“What happened,” you asked as the two of you reached his bedroom door.
“Take a look!”
You opened the door as fast as you could. If Chan was hurt, you needed to make sure to take care of him. But once you opened the door, the sight you saw was definitely not what you expected. “Welcom home my dear mate…” He was lounging on the bed, full Wolfgang look on, but now complete with ears. You didn’t know how to react. So, you slowly closed the door, leaving you and Jeongin outside his room.
“He’s crazy! Now go in and fix him,” he whispered, motioning to the door.
“How,” you replied, in the same tone as the maknae. You couldn’t figure out what was wrong with Chan. He never did stuff like this. Romantic and cute gestures, yes. But not weird seduction while dressed as a werewolf.
“I don’t know, Mother Wolf. He’s your Alpha.”
“Technically, he’d be yours too because you're in his pack,” you stopped before you continued, “What am I doing? Give me a second. Carry on and pretend you never saw this.” You entered the room, Chan now sitting up, approaching you. You motion to him to sit down.
“Down boy. Can you explain because we have a very, very traumatized maknae in the hall?”
“You can’t tell an alpha,” he started before you shot him that look. The look that says to stop it. He took a deep breath, “I overheard you talking to a fan about how you liked werewolf Chan stuff, so I wanted to surprise you. Give you the real life thing.”
“Yes, I read werewolf Chan fan fiction. Yes, I think your Wolfgang look is incredibly hot. But I love you as you. I appreciate you trying to…I don’t know what you were trying to do really, but it’s sweet that you wanted to surprise me. Even if I don’t know what made you think I wanted to reenact werewolf fics. And I read the fluff and angst not what your dirty mind was thinking!”
“I get it. I’m sorry and I'll change.”
“Oh no you aren’t. Just get a live ready to go. I’m grabbing WolfChan and Peach Fuzz.”
He happily complied, but was confused as to why your SKZOOs were important to this or why you wanted to do a live. He set up the camera and you handed him WolfChan, “now hold this in front of your face, on the count of five, put him down and reveal yourself in your full werewolf glory. We’ll talk about Halloween things and have a nice time celebrating Halloween with Stay. Then we can talk about what you had planned for tonight, Alpha. Let’s check on Innie first though..”
He nodded and you two headed out of the room to make sure that your roommate was doing better. I mean, it is the Pack Alpha and the pack mother’s job to make sure their pack members are okay, right?

WARNINGS: Angst, car accidents, medical inaccuracies probably,
Taking Care of Mama
You always try to take care of your boys. They’re your husband and sons after all. But sometimes you need someone to take care of you. Whether it be big or small, the boys are always there for you when you need it.
Bang Chan got a phone call from the hospital. You were in a car accident and hit your head. Han and Changbin don’t think they’ve ever seen him rush out the studio faster. When he arrived at the hospital, you were finishing up getting tested for a concussion. “Hey,” he said, rushing over in a panic, “are you okay? Does your head hurt? Are you…”
“Chris, I’m okay. Calm down,” you reassured him, “I’m gonna have a nasty bump on my head, but no concussion. Now come on, I gotta go home and start on…”
“Oh no you aren’t. Peaches, you were just in a major accident. I’m not letting you lift a finger today. Just leave it to me okay?”
You smiled, “Okay, but no burning down the kitchen.”
He laughed as he took your hand to leave. When you got back to the dorms, you were attacked by hugs.
Minho was wrapping up your hand as you sat on the toilet in the home you and the boys had rented for the weekend. You were trying to do too many things at once and burnt your hand on a hot pot. You were a little upset about it. Minho could see this in your face.
“We all do it,” he said as he focused on wrapping your hand, “I can’t tell you the number of times I reached into the oven without an oven mit.”
“I know. It just hurts a lot,” you answered sadly. He finished wrapping your hand, “I’ll go finish dinner. You go sit down on the sofa and wait for everyone to come.”
“Can I please help,” you begged standing up from your seat, “at least let me chop something or set the table.”
He nodded, “if you cut your hand though, I’m making you explain it to Chan Hyung. I’m not letting him kill me.”
Chan did not end up killing him. You, however, were not allowed to cook until your hand was healed.
Changbin was your bestie for the restie, so he knew exactly when something was off. And today was one of those days. Even though he was into weightlifting, you convinced him to go out and go to a tennis clinic. Sadly, you picked the hottest day to go to said tennis clinic.
It was really fun, just really really hot. You tried to stay super hydrated, but it clearly was still not enough. You felt overwhelmingly hot and your vision was getting blurry. “Binnie,” you said, grabbing onto his shoulder.
He turned around and saw your state. His eyes widened at your weak and sweat covered face. He supported your body as he led you to his car. When he got you to the car, he carefully helped you to get comfortable in the passenger seat before turning on the air conditioner to full blast. He handed you your water to get some more hydration. “Next time we do something, we’re doing something inside,” Changbin said, getting water for himself.
“Fine by me,” you weakly laughed, “I vote we go home, get a shower and get ice cream.” Changbin nodded as you two enjoyed the cool air of the car.
Hyunjin saw you curled up sniffling on the couch one evening. Chan had asked him to keep an eye on you while he was in the studio. Chan didn’t really have to ask him to. He would have done it anyway. “Hyunjin,” you weakly said, “you don’t have to stay here. Go and have fun.”
“No,” he said sitting in front of you on the couch, “you always take care of me when I’m sick, so it’s only fair I take care of you. Now, do you need anything?”
You asked him for some spicy ramen and he made it for you. He also had both an ice pack and blankets ready for however your body temperature was affecting you. Hyunjin was running around getting things for you like a chicken with his head cut off. You weren’t demanding. Not one bit. He was just worried about you and wanted to make sure he had anything ready that you could potentially need or want. Now, Hyunjin was lying exhausted on the floor. He looked over at you. “Mother Wolf,” he asked quietly, rolling over to look at you, “how do you do it?”
“Because I love you all so much,” you said quietly, “seeing your smiles and you all getting better, it makes anything that’s hard worth it.”
He nodded and closed his eyes. Today was exhausting, but you were right. Seeing you smiling made taking care of you even more worth it. You deserved it for everything you’ve done for him and all the other boys.
Han wanted to show you this new cafe he found close to the studio. Apparently they had the best matcha lattes and even better cheesecake muffins. As you were heading there you started to feel dizzy. “Sweetie,” you said trying to focus, “can we sit down for a second? I’m feeling weird.”
Han helped you get to a bench. “Is everything okay,” he asked, sitting down next to you.
“I’m just a little dizzy. Probably from staying up late last night. Keep talking to me and making me answer. It’s supposed to help if you keep conscious.”
He nodded, panicked. Oh how he wished Chan or Minho was here to help. But it was him here and he was gonna do whatever it took. He racked his brain trying to think of something. Anything that he could talk about. “How did you and Chan meet,” he asked, resting his head on your shoulder.
Even with the dizziness, you smiled. “It’s kind of funny actually,” you explained happily, “Everyone always talked about this scary veteran trainee named Bang Chan. One day, I ran into this guy on his way out of the dance studios. Like literally ran into him. His water got all over me. After he helped me up, he gave me his hoodie and offered to make it up to me by taking me out for dinner. We ended up just getting cheap ramen I would hear all the whispers about us being friends. It took me so long to realize that he was the infamous Bang Chan. He told me his name was Chris. That’s why I usually call him Chris and not Chan. If you told my past self that I would be dating him, I’d have laughed. But you guys weren’t the first to try to get us to date. I still remember The Great BamBam Plan of 2015.”
Han laughed remembering that. It was a disaster. “How’re you feeling,” Han asked, “still dizzy?”
You shook your head, “a lot better. Shall we head to our destination?” Han got up first and held out his hand for you which you grabbed. Then the two of you headed to the cafe, which was great by the way.
Felix could see your frustration in practice. As the boys were taking breaks and doing whatever they do (like seriously what goes on in that practice room), you were going over the same steps. As you kept doing it, you got more and more frustrated. Felix went over to you to help. “Try counting it out,” he suggested standing next to you now. You look over to him, “really?”
“Trust me, it’s easier. Let’s go. 1 and 2 and…”
And that did really help. You were finally getting the moves at least at a slowed pace.
“Any tips for if I still struggle during the performance,” you questioned, now taking a break yourself.
Felix pondered. He didn’t really count, he was just one of those people who could get the moves after a few times. “Watch Minho hyung…” he happily suggested with a smile, “you can count in your head and watch Minho. When it gets to your part, focus on your singing first and soon we’ll get these moves so memorized that you won’t need to.”
You deadpanned. Seriously, you thought, watch Minho? But he wasn’t wrong. That is what most members did during performances, so it couldn’t be that bad of advice. And it was not bad advice. It really did help you. Felix was a pretty good teacher, he got you confident in the moves and also gave you a safeguard if you were unsure. Thankfully, Felix was good enough that you didn’t have to watch Minho. Which was good because he messed up that performance.
When Seungmin had braces, you always made sure he knew that the people who were making fun of him were just stupid trolls. Whenever anyone insulted your boys, you made sure that they knew that the opinions of others weren't important. You had just dyed your hair strawberry blonde again, but it turned out more bubblegum pink than rose gold. You loved it but were afraid of what others would think. You and Seungmin went out to buy a new coffee machine because your dorms broke. You rushed over to the store excitedly to see your second youngest. Seungmin hugged you tightly, excited to not only see you but you, teach you all about coffee. He grabbed your hand and led you into the kitchen store. You found nothing in the first store. You ended up going into a couple stores with no luck.
As time went on, Seungmin noticed that hair was falling out of your beanie and it was very pink. He figured you were embarrassed by it. And the one thing you always taught him was to never be embarrassed by your looks. As you walked alongside him on the busy streets, talking about the new ideas you had for your next music videos and stage outfits, he grabbed your beanie and pulled it off your head. Bubblegum locks of hair cascaded down your face. Both your’s and Seungmin’s eyes widened for different reasons.
You tried to grab the beanie from his hands, but he held it above his head and you being short, couldn’t grab it. “Minnie! Stop,” you said in your strict mother voice.
He handed you the beanie, “why were you hiding it?”
“Because,” you explained, putting the beanie back on and stuffed your hair in it, “it looks so bad and I’m scared of the comments.”
Seungmin took the beanie off your head again, “why? Other people’s opinions don’t matter. Do you like it?”
You smiled, “I do love it Minnie. It’s fun actually. I look like I should be in a video game or an anime.”
“Then that’s all that matters.” You took the beanie off your head and stuffed it in your bag. Seungmin grabbed your hand again and led you to the next store, pink hair on full display.
Jeongin could tell you were exhausted. You had been pulling all nighters with Chan giving him feedback on new music, working on choreography with Minho and collaborating with the creative team on music video and concept ideas. He wasn’t even sure if you slept at all this month. He could tell you were burning yourself out. You were currently in the dance studio with Jeongin. He wanted some extra dance practice and you offered to stay and give your opinion, even if you weren’t the best dancer in the group. As he danced, he noticed you were out of it. You're trying hard to stay up. You offered to help, but you were just so exhausted and the couch was comfortable.
Jeongin took a break to get some water and sat down next to you. “You should take a nap,” he told you while taking a swig, “you’ve been working too hard recently. And we only need one sleep deprived person in this group. ”
You laughed and nodded. You set your head on his shoulder, “thanks Innie.” It wasn’t the most comfortable pillow, but he later moved your head to lay in his lap. You drifted off to sleep quickly and stayed that way for a while. He got no dancing done for the rest of the night because you looked so comfortable. When you got up, you thanked him for being your pillow.
