Each Siren has a different sound and song.The song she or he sings comes from within. They sing to what is missing in the person listening.
Sirens speak to what their audience is missing, they offer a way to receive the missing piece. We can't teach a siren to sing. We teach them to release the longing within their own hearts.
Their song is as different as their looks. This is what makes being a siren appealing. This class is nothing like the schools on land. We do learn a little magic. some magic is already inside of us but the newly turned have to learn. They have to let go of their old life,to find their way in their new life. I am no different. Is it worth me keeping this change?
In my old life, I was alone. It was just me and my cat. I didn't want to leave her. But I was tired of being alone. My cat made me happy but not the way I feel now.
I wonder if I could go back and find her a better home. I can't just abandon her. One thing I loved about my life, was that it was my life to live. I had been on my own since I was in my twenties.
I sat here looking up at the new world around me. The moonlight, and sunlight didn't reach down here. I could look straight up to see fish and the under side of whales and dolphins, through the sapphire blue water, to the moon.
From down here it looks like a silver disk.
