Happy Pride!! 🌈💕👩❤️💋👩
My first pride was a success and couldn’t have gone with anyone better.
I went to my first Pride today in Seattle, and I'm so beyond happy :')
After a lot of convincing, I might have showed up to pride for a bit. I'm not one to go to these things but some good family and friends gave me a push #dcpride #firstpride #goodcommunity (at Wharf DC)
First Pride
Chester Pride was so brilliant 🏳️🌈 #chesterpride2017 #firstpride #lgbtq #rainbowflags #loveislove🌈
A bit of a funny story (sort of)
For some context for this upcoming story, I am very much still in the closet about being Trans with my parents. I am lucky enough to have very loving brothers who I am out to, but I haven't had the right opportunity with my parents.
So, I had a nightmare last night about my parents finding out about me being trans, and not being to pleased to say the least (There was a threat on my life in the dream, even though my parents would NEVER do that). Worse of all, it was one of those dreams where it feels incredibly real, and the feelings stick with you once you wake up.
Needless to say, I was shaken up when I awoke. Luckily, I am out to my brothers so I was able to talk about it to someone.
Now to the funny bit. I am scrolling Youtube this afternoon, and I suddenly realize that today is the start of Pride month!!!
So yeah, this is an interesting start to my first pride month out of the closet (at least slightly)
Our first Pride march is a historic step towards equality and acceptance, taking us on a historical journey through time and embracing the power of visibility. Today, we honor the LGBTQ+ community's rainbow of love, bravery, and resilience while uniting in our hope for a day when everyone is free to love and be who they truly are.
