The butterfly garden was amazing. I’ve been in a lot of these rooms before but this one surpassed all of them. It had more butterflies fluttering around than I’d ever seen before and several of them freely landed on me. 

(I stood there forever trying to get this particular one to flap to reveal it’s beautiful blue coloring but settled for touring the entire place). 

The whole thing made me want to run home and plant butterfly friendly plants for the rest of my life.

Working on seperating out my 20 gallon tank into 3 seperate sections for all of my male betta fish. Before you say anything, I’ve got glass dividers in the three sections so none of them can fight. They’ve all lived in tanks side by side their whole lives and have never had a problem with seeing each other. All three are super chill.

Im just moving them all into one divided tank so that everyone has the same amount of water and same size tank. My tiny one inch female is in a 5 gallon and one of my males is already in a 5 gallon, but the other two are in 2 gallon tanks, so im moving them up to what will be a 6.5 for each of the males. The female keeps her 5 gallon to herself since she’s just so small. She probably needs a tank mate or something honestly.

But yes. 20 gallon tank becomes 3, 6.5 gallon tanks and honestly this’ll be so much easier for me to clean.

Tonight is blood worm time 🪱 🪱 🪱

It's basically a junk food party where they rain from the sky and everyone pigs out. I figured it's a reward for everyone being so nice to Champs, and all the fucking the cories have been doing (I have some VERY healthy ladies lmaoo) and if I had any doubts that Champs was chill....he just let a tetra take the worm he was after. No flaring, no chasing, nothing. Poor guy

We're one day in and...did j somehow get the world's chilliest betta?? Champs is literally so chill!!! Maybe one day he'll snap and murder everyone?

He already comes up to me if I go up to the glass. He's so cute!

....also the bronzes are fuckinf again. I have no idea where the eggs are

So I got a betta Le Champ....I'm watchibghun like a hawkbht hea so inquisitive and has only tried to nip a tetra that tries to nip him. He's really interested in the corydoras. He tried to nip a shrimp but hes too slow.

I'd say he was in that little jar for a long time. When I picked up his jar he just stared at me and swam towards me and my little heart couldn't take it. He's like rIDICULOUSLY inquisitive. The only downside is he goes into where the cories congregate and they all swim away from him haha
