4/11/1922. On this day: one of the loves of my life was born, she would've been 101 years old today, a spitfire, a "skeeter-hawk", fast talking, beautiful, brilliant mathematician, my protector, teacher, guide, nurturer...my Granny. Mamie Lou "ms hawk/ms emel" Jones. I miss her terribly. I feel her surround me when I need her most. So happy for her juju, & that I can lean on her for it. Rest in perfect peace, light to her spirit. We had brunch on behalf of my Granny. Hey Hey you got Ray in the day and Nick at night 2 of of the very best cook's Downriver absolutely delicious food. My addiction be the Pan Fried Walleye OMG off the damn charts. Today had the Walleye, Eggs, Grits with Biscuit n Gravy hey Raisin toast too. She had the Double Damn stuffed Country Omelet outstanding Love the Tomato twists on the plates. Only our 2nd visit we only eat around lunch time, may never meet Nick at night. Waitress say you post the photos gonna give Nick a big head.
