Vacation workout.
I saw the first orb weaver of the year last night, which means it's fall, which means it's past time to get back to running.
I got to see a bat out hunting, and when I got home (shortly after the rain started) I found a spider in my hair.
I'm not sure it's possible to earn more goth points in a single workout.
It's been almost 2 months, but I finally got out there, and back to running this week.
I rean yesterday too, but forgot to take photos of my sweaty face. Today was supposed to be cross training, but I already had that scheduled for tomorrow with a friend. So I've done days 1 and 3 of Zen Labs' half marathon trainer. I'll go back and do day 2 tomorrow.
I was traveling all weekend, and was pretty exhausted on Monday. But I thought this program would start out like a C210k, nice and easy. I already had my running shoes on and was ready to walk out the door, when I actually looked at the program for the first time. It's still perfectly manageable for someone at my fitness level, but the run intervals we're twice as long as I was expecting... And there were rice as many of them. So my runs these last 2 days have been much harder than I expected, but also much more fulfilling.
I leave for Blue Star Family Gathering tomorrow afternoon, but I'm trying to cut sugar out entirely until we're at least in the road. I'm hoping going cold title for a few days will help me resist temptations, and make healthier choices while I'm there. Then it's straight back into the Sugar Detox when I get home.
Work Out Clothes
I've decided to hold off on a new tattoo (though there are several I want badly) in favor of getting some new work out pants. I have four pairs of full length pants, all of which are cheaply made, and three of which are starting to bust at the seams.
I'm willing to put a little more money into the new pairs (for obvious reasons), but I'm trying to keep them under $30 a pair (preferably closer to $20). But wait, my demands get harder to meet: I want actual /pants/. Not leggings. Not Capris. Pants.
Bonus points if they have personality, without resorting to neon colors.
What I'm getting at, is that I'm having a hard time finding what I'm looking for.
