Mask fit factor when lifting mask to eat or drink:

This is interesting. A lot of people do the lift-to-eat method on flights, etc. I always wondered whether you'd potentially trap contaminated air. Scientists even told me that it is a risk, though minimal compared to total removal.

Here's an actual fit test video. Fit factor drops all the way down to 4.6 when the mask is lifted to drink through a straw:

As he says, that's just mildly better than a surgical mask.

And 382 when totally sealed: "That means the air is 382 times cleaner inside the mask than outside."

E.g. Which work best for small faces?

For N95’s, the highest harmonic mean fit factors that @dachshundDsh (NIOSH face panel size #3) got was Aura9210+ for N95’s. (Same mask that set the N95 record on the large head too.) Same story for FFP3’s. @dachshundDsh set records on Drager1930small, and the panel 8 size large head also set records on the Drager1930small. She prefers the Aura 1863+ though since the Drager1930 looks scary.

Made the breastplate myself for Angewomon but it looks silly, so I really struggled to make Arina’s shirt work for me (normally, I only need one bust dart 😂)

I’m also padded! Two pairs of pantyhose and couch cushion to balance my silhouette out and make me looks less like P

Fit Test for Pearl~! • It’s very hard to take pictures on my own, but it was late at night.

I’m thinking about setting up a shoot at an arcade or something, but it’ll have to wait until after Christmas. • Also, congrats to Team Sweater for a 3-0 win in the Splatfest! That was amazing!
