I haven’t run in three years. I haven’t been working out because of a complicated relationship I was in. (That’s a long story.) But with that being said, I’m getting back into working out now that I’m single again!
The last time I ran a *good* mile, it took me about 11′19″/mi. That was in 2012! This time I ran, it took me 12′34″/mi, which I know is nothing impressive. I’m pretty slow at running. But I have to be honest, I’m pleasantly surprised and proud of myself. It’s been four years since I ran 11′19″, and I’m not too far off from breaking that!
So I’ve been back on a Zombie’s run kick.

I signed myself up for the Spring Zombies, Run! Virtual race. I can’t even run a 5k right now so holy crap. It’s in April. I’ve been working on the Zombies, Run version of Couch to 5k. That and some body weight fitness. I bought a pull up bar and everything! I can’t do a pull up yet, but i’ll get there. Also getting my eating back on point. Nommy veggies and less carbs/sugar. I’m a work in progress.
