Sweating for the Wedding - day 20
So, I broke Lent for a date night last night.
Nick and I decided to have a nice date night last night, and instead of cooking our meal, which has been what we have been doing for date nights lately, we decided to treat ourselves to a night out. We went out for sushi. We planned this early in the day so I was able to plan for it in my meal.
Breakfast: Eggs with quinoa, and water with lime
Snack: Carrots with mustard, and water with lime
Lunch: Shake with cinnamon, and water with lime
Snack: Banana, and water with lime
Dinner: 1 spicy tuna roll, 1 seaweed salad with mixed greens, low sodium soy sauce with lots of wasabi, pickled ginger, some sashimi, green tea, and lots of water.
Evening: a lot more water with lime :-P
It seemed like a lot but I did try to make good choices and eat only what I had left for the day. This meant I was able to use 2 protein, 2 veg, 1 carb, 1 dressing/seed, 1 healthy fat. I did not hit all of these, and I know I probably should not have left all of this food until the end of the day, but it didn’t end up hurting me.
I woke up late this morning and found I was down a pound.
This has not happened so fast in a while, especially with the working out, but it did today! Now my results are:
Start: 166lbs
Weight: 158.4lbs
First Goal: 155lbs
Difference: 7.6lbs
Left Until Goal: 3.4lbs
Let’s hope we can keep it off, and lose just a few pounds more!

Hot sauce (yeah if you can’t tell I like hot stuff).
