unless sjm has Rhysand actually use his supposedly endless amount of power to enact change in Illyria asap then she is ultimately setting him up to be one of the most sinister villains of all time:

if Nyx does get dumped in one of those Illyrian camps, then Rhys is perpetuating the cycle of violence and abuse, which will likely continue forever (bc if he can't fix it with all of his power, who can?)

but if Nyx is not dropped in a camp, then Rhys is openly acknowledging how fucked up they are and is sparing his son from it while still allowing other innocent children to be used as fodder in future wars
