Pride kisses week three day nineteen : forehead kiss

Finally got time and motivation to write (:

Kaz was sick. He was buried under a mountain of blankets, just his face visible. He was alone in his room and if there was one thing Kaz hated when sick it was being alone. He rolled out of bed, bare feet hitting the cold floor. He shivered, quickly wrapping a blanket around himself and slipping on his slippers.

He shuffled downstairs, looking around for anyone. Yet it seemed everyone was gone. Oliver and the girls were nowhere around. He frowned, glancing at the lift. Maybe Chase wasn't too busy?

He shuffled onto the lift, pressing the button to head down. The doors opened and he stepped out, glancing around for Chase.

"Chase?" He rasped, voice scratchy and cracking. He sounded terrible to his own ears.

A head of brown jerked up from behind the desk followed by Chase's eyes. "What are you doing up? You're sick!" Chase chastised, making his way over to Kaz. He pressed the back of his hand to Kaz's forehead. "You're burning up Kaz. You should be back in bed."

Kaz whined, pressing into Chase's hand. "It's too quiet. Everyone is gone."

Chase huffed, shifting to cup Kaz's cheek. "Can you not handle being alone Kaz?" He asked, tapping his thumb against Kaz's cheek. He wasn't asking in a rude way, he was genuinely curious.

Kaz turned, frowning against Chase's palm. "Don't wanna be." He mumbled but Chase heard him.

Chase sighed, slipping his arm down to wrap around Kaz's waist. "C'mon back to bed. I'll put on a movie for us."

Kaz immediately pressed against him, soaking up his warmth. "Sounds great."

After getting off the lift Chase helped Kaz back upstairs to his room. He pulled back the covers allowing Kaz to get comfortable before tucking him back in. He set up a movie and then laid down beside him. "I'll keep you company for now."

Kaz shifted closer, cuddling up to Chase's side. "Thanks Chasie." He mumbled, eyes fluttering shut already.

Chase smiled down at him. He leaned down pressing a kiss to Kaz's forehead. "Anytime Kaz."

Now, however, Chase and Kaz have to deal with their two worlds colliding when a supervillain decides to barge into the Island. In other words, I rewrote the episode (with a ton of backstory)
