I've long held the headcanon that Hartley Rathaway started out young as the Pied Piper (which is why he felt comfortable being friends with Wally West when he became Flash; Hartley is a few years older, but they're still close in age).
And now, my brain has made the connection to ship Pied Piper x Jericho. 😌
As of now, I believe this is the only panel the two have shared together. Non-speaking roles, no interactions w/ one another, and Harley Quinn standing between them.
...b-but that's okay! Proximity is, at least, a good start! 😅
Jay Garrick is an elderly hero, a scientist & military veteran, first to be called The Flash; due to a chemical lab accident (later, revealed as part of a mad scientist plot), he was doused w/ a substance ('hard water') which granted him the ability to move, think & react w/ superhuman speed; he started out fighting street-level crime, then was called to military service in WWII against the Nazis; after, he temporarily retired, rather than reveal his true identity (+ for a time, was even lost in the Speed Force); now, via Speed Force longevity, he persists into the present day, as teammate & mentor to the Flash family of heroes, the Justice Society (which he helped found) & other heroes!
Chester P. Runk is a Black metahuman, known (unfortunately, due to his enormous weight) as the tremendous Chunk; gifted w/ a genius scientific mind (esp physics & engineering), he built a matter transport device, which malfunctioned & infused him w/ its energies, turning him into a living host for a black hole; armed w/ the power to transport matter to & from the gravitational vortex, he started out on a criminal path & eventually was coerced into a plot that resulted in his demise, but at his best, he used his powers to help dispose of waste & to waste the bad guys, most often acting as an ally to The Flash, Wally West!
Generally, I love the JSA. I think they're a top tier team of superheroes. But for the longest time, I've also entertained the idea of smutty fanfiction and/or fanart of them. Specifically a locker room / bathhouse setting, for some reason? idk, LOL

A shocking chemical lab accident leads young Wally West to become Kid Flash, protege to his uncle-through-marriage Barry Allen, a.k.a. the 2nd Flash (who was inspired by Jay Garrick, the 1st Flash); then Barry is killed & Wally steps up as the 3rd Flash (but undoubtedly the fastest & most powerful); thanks to an intimate link with the Speed Force (a primal metaphysical force of motion), Wally's mind-blowing, gravity-defying, reality-piercing heroics have saved countless lives, many times aiding not only a growing speedster family, but also the Teen Titans (+ later the Titans), the Justice League & more!
