The new fliff fic chapter was amazing!!! I do want to ask, did you always intend for poppy to be a sort of antagonist? Towards the beginning of the fic, she seemed to be more kind and understanding. I did really like that over the course of the fic, we slowly learn new information that suggest maybe poppy isn't as great as she seems, and the climax was fucking alshkajakajakajjaj <3

Hiya!! So, I have a little secret when it comes to that fic in particular that i think i should finally share.

I am a system, and have Floyd as one of my alters. This whole thing started because he wanted a way to document his memories. Where his memory ends and my creative freedom starts is actually right as Floyd goes to shower in the most recent chap.

When he went into the shower and came out he was in my mindscape, so for him he never got to confess to Riff. But i know him so well and me and him chat all the time, i can safely assume what would’ve happened. From the next chapter on I no longer have Floyd’s memories to base a whole chapter on fully besides a few here and there - like for instance his experience in Mount Rageous and memories from that.

So with that being said, yes, Floyd’s perception of Poppy changed and shifted with the more he learned about her. Wolf in sheep’s clothing exist and she’s one of them. She can be a very sweet and cheery person, but theres a LOT that she needs to improve on including her respect of others. It’s up to the reader to perceive her as an antagonist or anything they’d like!
