⭐️ He involuntarily regresses from 3 to 10 . It took him a while to realize that he regressed , but when he did , he hyperfixated on the topic and learnt a lot about it. He does it voluntarily too , to regulate stress .
🧸 He is usually taken care of by Willow or Luz , but he regresses with anyone he feels comfortable with . He loves playing and cuddling with his caregiver ! Willow makes him feel really safe and loved , he’s so bubbly when she’s around .
🌼 Vent regression can be very complicated for him . Right when he’s finding it difficult to regulate his emotions , everything starts feeling too big to handle . He needs lots of care and attention during so much distress . Sometimes regressing can mean remembering unpleasant things from his childhood , but the regression itself soothes him . Breathing techniques and plushies help him a lot !

🧸 Mornings are super cozy , hot chocolate with marshmallows , reading , playing on the living room floor and watching cartoons . You two occasionally have a walk and go to the park . It’s super fun when he pushes you on the swings or gives you a piggy back ride !
As a Flip Sombra is both a caregiver and a regressor! She regresses between ages 7-11 and is a kid to tween regressor. When she caregives she is a teen regressor between 16-19 or sometimes not regressing.
As a Regressor Sombra loves to get creative and get messy with anything she can get her hands on. Child locks are necessary! Any electronics? She's in there.
She loves taking apart, customising, and playing with dolls when regressed. Her favourite is Monster High. She loves to draw ideas for custom ones or sometimes try to make her own.

Flip: someone who both regresses and acts as a caregiver
very responsive caregiver: dedicated to communicating and giving exactly what a regressor needs
prefers to be a permissive caregiver with lots of wiggle room, but can enforce schedules and rules if needed
usually orders a lot of takeout: not the best at cooking his own food
enjoys lazy younger-age regressors who like diapers and bottles and naps, but also happy to run around with little speedsters
good at handling multiple regressors at once: one in the crook of his left elbow, one swinging his right hand, one on his shoulders, and another one clinging to his leg as he laughs
very private as a regressor: he’s the king, after all: who could he trust? (or so he tells himself)
loves being in his garden, singing to his flowers and booping their leaves
really likes digging holes and ends up covered in dirt
luckily he likes baths when he’s big, so he just roams as a dirt-covered kiddo until he’s feeling like an adult again
unrepentant sweet tooth: luckily, he makes a point to keep lots of candy on-hand for the kingdom’s children, so he’s never without when he regresses
- honami's age range is typically around 8-10; she's never really gotten any younger than 5
- it's a bit harder to tell when hona's regressed- she got so used to hiding it in her junior high years that masking it became second nature to her. honami was so terrified of being bullied, and that definitely extended to their discovery of age regression
- however, after leo/need gets together, the others get pretty good at sussing out when hona's little! little hona has to focus a lot harder on drumming. her eyebrows get all scrunched up and she's a lot quieter
- honami will insist she's good to carry on as normal, or that they aren't in that young of a headspace, but the others always make sure she doesn't push herself
- caring for hona usually looks like making sure she gets home safe and doesn't try to do anything like baking. the rest of leo/need always take care of her- saki will come over to bake with honami's help, ichi will send her videos to watch, and shiho will help hona practice easier songs on the drums
- honami is a natural caregiver! she genuinely enjoys caring for others, which shows both through her job doing housework and her caring for littles
- they're always happy to either go out or stay in, whichever the kiddo prefers. her favorite outside activities are stargazing, either just at a park or at a planetarium, and going to the park!
- honami's a very flexible caregiver, and everyone always loves her. she's able to handle (little) saki's high energy, shiho's moods, and ichika's excitement about miku with ease!

usually acts as a caregiver when the boys are all together
the dad vibes are strong with Gansey: lots of hair ruffles and putting his hands on his hips to admire kiddos’ projects
only occasionally stops them from doing stupid things: usually helps them to do things like ‘throw all the mattresses outside so we can jump off the roof’
has a knack for making people feel more comfortable with their regression: his caregiver mode is very visible when he switches into it, and it’s hard to resist
Gansey also regresses, but prefers to do it one-on-one, rather than participating in the chaotic group: he often regresses late at night as part of his insomnia
still enjoys working on his sprawling projects, like the model town: he’s often quiet and focused as a kiddo, and doesn’t go to get a caregiver
Ronan is the first person he really trusted with that side of him, but he grows to rely on each member of the group
silently clingy as a kiddo: holds tight onto hands, appreciates cuddles
watches people very closely if he’s anxious, but completely forgets them in favour of his projects if he’s comfortable
forgets to eat and needs a caregiver to bring him some snacks and juice (he really likes juice in a sippy cup that he can knock over when he forgets about it and kicks it)

a changeable little boy who is incredibly readable: he’s terrible at hiding any of his feelings when he’s small
wants to have everyone around him at all times: gets restless if someone is missing
does not like sitting down unless he has a lot of toy options around him: prefers to be moving, playing, running, exploring
really likes spending time outdoors when he’s small: has a knack for charming animals and will come back with a squirrel on his head
loves to play-tousle with the others and will initiate it at any moment: especially likes to come up behind Adam and tug his hair until he obliges
wants to be the one who gets to knock the block tower down
despite the rowdiness, he’s very alert to the others’ needs and runs to get bandaids if anyone gets hurt: very much a big brother at times
sometimes wakes up regressed and has a hard time seeking other people out, even though it’s really what he needs, especially if it’s the middle of the night
also an excellent caregiver: able to be quiet or goofy, as a regressor requires, and gives the best cuddles

the most likely to regress when he doesn’t intend to: drifts closer to Ronan or Blue and gets quiet until someone notices that he’s regressing and bundles him home
noise sensitive: not to the sounds of the others playing, but to machinery or loud cars or strangers shouting
most likely to regress on his own, without the others: genuinely enjoys snuggling into blankets and watching cartoons or listening to kid’s music and colouring quietly
Blue
regression was not part of her life until she met her Raven Boys, but she fell in love with the concept and with their complicated dynamics through it
Blue isn’t sure if she is a regressor, but she likes playing with the boys, and sometimes she finds herself slipping into something like a childish mindset: she’s still figuring out if she’s a regressor or an age dreamer
she likes to be a caregiver one-on-one with the boys: Gansey immediately took to her, Noah and Adam followed soon after, and Ronan prefers her as a playmate rather than a caregiver (and is probably the best at tugging her into a younger headspace when the group is together)
Gansey is less likely to buy things for himself than for the others, so Blue takes this as an opportunity to give him little things
Adam is also more open to gifts from Blue, so she makes sure he’s stocked up when he moves into his new apartment
in general, the boys tend to slip younger around Blue, and she cherishes that: she adds something new to the mix without disrupting their existing relationships
entirely nonverbal, aside from some growls and grunts
visibly regresses by hunching over, sometimes enough that his fingers drag on the ground if he doesn’t have them curled in his shirt

feels good when he can provide you with food and shelter, but gets very self-critical if there’s a lack that he can’t fill
very resistant to going outside with a regressor, and usually wants to keep them inside a single room for the sake of safety

1. In the very, very rare instances that Flip cries, her tears transmute into precious gems. They're nearly identical to diamonds, though the makeup is unlike anything found in nature. Selling them to jewelers would fetch a high price because they're pretty much a legend among gemologists.
2. Flip's hair has magical properties on its own. If she were to gift you with a lock of her hair, you would experience an enhanced resistance to pain. This may have something to do with the high pain tolerance she's built over the centuries, and a strange carry-over effect. You would need to have it on your person to make it work.
3. Flip does not subscribe to the myth of counting. There is a story which suggests that throwing rice or seeds on the floor will force a Fairy to count them obsessively. Not Flip. She will be annoyed and tell you to clean it up. We're not barbarians here.
