Lucien -> Dawn Lindstrom: childhood bliss
Damien and Lucien had always lived in Maple bay. He had heard his father explain to him that the minute he was born, Damien had chosen to live somewhere more friendly, living in the middle of the city a few states over was no place to raise a child, he had decided.
so by the time the boy was 5 months old, everything was packed in, and they had driven for hours just to get to Maple bay, where Lucien then grew up watching slowly how his dad was building the dream house for him, while still providing it with whatever a child would need for a good life, and that included freedom to explore, and meet friends. Dawn was one of those.
He had heard stories from his dad, and other neighbors about her and his shenanigans when they were younger, but she had been gone for so long, he felt like it almost had been a hallucination. She had moved away a very long time ago, and they hadn't kept in contact whatsoever.
“hey dad? there’s a moving van over a couple houses over.” he called one morning though, frowning when the truck pulled up, and a car moving as well. he rolled his eyes slightly at his dad’s nonchalant “oh yeah? well, Joseph will greet them as usual”. His dad wasn't the most confident when it came to greeting neighbors. Lucien shrugged, and finished the breakfast, before standing up, and grabbing the schoolbag by the door, and calling that he was leaving.
School was the last thing on his mind though, and rather than leaving the cul-de-sac, and head to Maple bay’s elementary-middle, and highschool, he went to the truck instead. It would probably just be a family with small kids, as was usually the deal.
