I know I thought about sending you flowers, but now I can't remember if I actually did lol So: Peony, Primrose, Lilac, Snowdrop
Sooo, lets do this properly with the whole message on display - time for some flowers! Thank you @joi-in-the-tardis for always including me in those
Peony: What is your favorite time of the day?
Oh, that’s a hard one... I’m a morning person, but I also enjoy my evenings because I have the time to do stuff with my friends or simply indulge in my tv obsessions...
Primrose: What fictional character do you relate to most?
I tend to latch onto shows and books I feel a connection to the characters. I share the dry, sarcastic sense of humor Temperance Brennan has in the books by Kathy Reichs (no, not getting into the tv show... nope). I relate to the get-back-up-quality of The Doctor and his absolute loyalty and child-like enthusiasm to his companions/friends and their joined adventures. Lucifer’s struggles to understand humanity and fit in. I think I better stop here, before I go through all my favourite shows, lol.
Lilac: What qualities do you admire in other people / look for in a friend ?
I get drawn to people with a certain joy in life. I know that’s vague, but I am pretty spark-y person myself. I enjoy life, I enjoy my hobbies, weird as they are to others and I enjoy stumbling over people with the same enthusiasm for their interests. They don’t even necessarily have to match mine, though that is more fun to have endless discussions over. I am a get-up-when-knocked-down person and I find myself having a hard time dealing with those all to happy in wallowing in self-pity. That is fine for a bit and everyone deserves that, but there must come a time to stand up and move on. Otherwise I just look for people who are true to themselves and that I can have a good laugh or a good cry with without being judged. People that take my weirdness in stride and hep me be a better person (whatever that might be) while not trying to make me into anyone else on a fundamental basis, because everyone is who they are and it’s good to improve, but we are who we are for a reason and I have to believe each one has their right to be that way.
Snowdrop: What was your first thought this morning?
I was operated at/in(?) the ear yesterday, so my first thought was to checking if there are any changes in my ear, concerning the incision, pain and most of all my ability to hear on my left ear, as that has been impaired, while putting together a list of asks for my follow-up appointment later today (yes, I am a hands-on, complex thinking person even in the mornings)
Thank you for the ask @joi-in-the-tardis and sorry for the confusion tumblr caused me again.
