→ Text: hello everyone!! I went through my drafts and realized I never got the chance to post this and felt the need to do it (with some editing). I have decided to combine these two requests together to bring out and make a very fluff but some angst headcanons, it was actually interesting for me to do something like this. I did this because they had a similar theme and I wanted it to have a very fluff ending and longer writing for you all since I keep seeing more likes and reblogs in my account so thank you so much to all after all this time! Enjoy it :,)
synopsis: coming from the underground and having to adapt to a new environment is quite challenging for anyone, especially having to deal with people constantly bullying and picking on y/n just because she is different. Y/n is a very determined person and always tries her keep on going. Although, it does get hard on her later and Captain Levi does take notice of that. He usually doesn’t worry a lot about new cadets, but y/n coming from the underground, Levi could relate, and actually feel sympathy towards her. He slowly begins to worry for her more and care for her which leads to him being protective and enjoying being with Y/n....but something happens and Captain Levi does not hold back anymore.

Finally, y/n was free from that damned place. It felt like she was going to be there for the rest of her life but she finally made it out. Apparently, the military needed some more people to join the Survey crops since a lot had left, were injured and many died recently in the last expedition when they rescued Eren the titan shifter from the enemies.
A lot hesitated, but y/n did not care. She just needed to leave this toxic environment that was draining her each day. But little did she know, the outside world was going to be the biggest challenge she had to face.
“Everyone salute and welcome your new cadets!” Mike Zacharias, the instructor, yelled out across the field that you were pretty sure your eardrums were going to burst.
“Hey I heard there is someone from the underground that joined the survey crops, is that true?” someone uttered which you overheard as you looked at them. They quickly glanced at you, staring at you deeply with a look of judgment. ‘Yup, this is not welcoming at all.’ Y/n thought as she looked away and started to introduce herself.
“I’m Y/N L/N, I hope I can keep up with everyone’s pace and learn from you.” Y/n said eagerly, finally it was a new start for her, no more getting bad treatment in the underground, no one being rude to her. She heard a lot about being part of the survey crops, you finally get some respect from people as part of a famous regiment.
“Where did you come from huh?” Someone yelled from the crowd, ‘Huh? why is he asking that, does it really matter where I am coming from?’ Y/n thought as she gave a look of concern and worry. “Um, from....the underground.” As soon as she uttered that, the whole vibe changed and everyone looked at each other.
The squad leader just gave a sigh and left. It seemed like he knew this would be the start of a big problem and did not want to be responsible for it. But, he glanced back at Y/n, “Please....don’t cause any trouble.” Then he finally left.
Y/n was now even more confused. Was there a reason that there would be trouble in the first place? She decided to just let that thought slide since it had no answer and decided to go into her cabin.

Okay, now she gets it. It’s cause she was from the underground and no one was from there and treated them differently. It seemed like any place she went to would never be welcoming. The group of trainers had started to treat her differently, when it was lunch time no one would sit with her, or if she needed advice they would always ignore her or tell her to ‘figure it out’. Y/n had no friends and no one by her side, she accepted that fact but then wondered...Was there something wrong with her maybe? She kept doubting herself now and that was the last thing she wanted.
Although, not everyone was treating her differently. Corporal Levi was their instructor for the use of 3D maneuver gear. Apparently, he is known as the strongest soldier who performed exceptionally well in everything.
Levi was observant, that was not something hard to guess coming from a man who is very much experienced. He noticed the gap between the recruits and...Y/n. He did find that odd and probably thought perhaps she didn’t take a shower.
Well. Yes, he was not treating her differently because Levi actually treats everyone the same! So perhaps Y/n would take that as...fair treatment for once?
“Alright, that’s enough for today.” Just as everyone was ready to go have dinner and relax Levi stood in front of Y/n. “You. I’m gonna need you to stay behind and follow me.”
Okay scratch that ‘fair treatment’. Y/n was wondering now what she had done after following Levi. She noticed then that he was quite muscular from the back and he really...did look quite attractive upfront. Later on, she noticed that she was in his office.
“So what’s the deal with you?”. Hearing that suddenly once he sat down on his chair made Y/n nervous but still stood her ground. “I... dont think I understand, Corporal.”
“Listen, I need to know what’s going on. Being part of the survey crops means we need to collaborate together, but if there is an issue then I’ll need to hear it, Hm?”
Was he concerned about her perhaps? Y/n then decided to go ahead and tell him about how she was one of the newer recruits that joined coming from the underground and was the reason everyone was giving her that behaviour. Levi was completely off guard, he looked at her with surprise that she herself never seen.
“Okay....I think I get it now. Clearly, there are some shitheads that I need to deal with.” Y/n now was the one who stood off guard. “S-Sir? I didn’t mean to complain or anything!” She was now worried. Scared knowing that maybe now she had done it for herself and made this a bigger problem as it is.
“Don’t worry, just go back for now. I’ll see you in the morning.” He said as he got up and then put his hand gently on her shoulder. “You are....doing a great job. Hang in there.”
And with that, she was left alone in his office, but with a warm feeling, so warm it warmed her heart. He was indeed not what the rumours said about him. But perhaps, it was the same with her since she knew there were some nasty rumors going around. Then she thought ‘Just maybe....I found someone I can relate to’

Ever since then, Levi seemed irritated with the other scouts as he did notice and heard some remarks about others mocking Y/n. As well as the way they were just really acting like a bunch of kids who were not mature and had no idea what was coming from them. They truly were pathetic. “You know, it’s best not to be with such pathetic people.” He said suddenly as he was helping Y/n fix her 3DMG which mysteriously got jammed.
Y/n felt these past few weeks that Levi was caring for her.....but in his own way.
Whenever they had a break, he would go over to Y/n and have a small chat. Nothing big just simple talks. “Make sure to wear good clothes...you know the winter is around the corner.” Y/n quite liked the small chats, it was a while since she had such a nice refreshing chat with someone. But she did not expect Levi to be the one, as he was not very vocal but she noticed actions spoke louder than words for him. Always giving her water or some biscuits for her to have, and checking on her equipment. It felt like she was cared for once and it did make her have an unknown feeling. It was quite complex for her to figure out but, it made her feel happy for sure though.
Whenever she got bullied by the other scouts on how she was just a nobody and just a junkie from the underground, it really made her feel embarrassed and she started wearing a hood over her head just to not be seen or known by others. However, that did not work for Levi as he spotted her quickly as she was sitting beside a tree. “Y/n? Why are you hiding there.” She looked up and saw him with a concerned look. But she gave a small smile, he was....different that was for sure.
“I just wanted to be alone, that’s all.”
“Oh. Then, would you like me to leav-”
“No!” Y/n did not realize that she had just now raised her voice, but not only that....also grabbing the Corporal's wrist! She quickly backed away and before she was about to say something, Levi just started to....laugh? The whole atmosphere changed within seconds and Y/n just found herself smiling like an idiot.
“Yeah, I am convinced now that you are an idiot.” He sat beside her and looked at her with a reassuring smile. Now she was a blushing mess, she just knew her face was heating up! Just being beside him the whole time, made her forget about what even made her upset from the beginning and not feel insecure anymore. Levi made her feel that just being herself was nothing wrong, nothing to be embarrassed about. Just spending time with Levi made her realize that, as someone like himself who really doesn’t seem to care about what others say about him while doing what he has to do was the highlight for her. She was y/n, her own person, and also....maybe an idiot according to Levi? But she will take that.
Y/n wasn’t sure what this unknown feeling was, but she wanted to keep feeling it for way longer. As time went by, she felt Levi’s worry and care for her. Whenever they passed by each other, he would look at her with a small smile, and sometimes when they were alone he made y/n to call him Levi.

Again, her 3DMG wasn’t working. She was quite disappointed in herself for not maintaining her gear, this would definitely not make her survive outside the walls if she had this problem occurring.
Y/n looked over at Levi who seemed quite angry and annoyed. She felt something in her gut that today...something was gonna happen.
“Alright, who done it.” The whole training area in the forest got silent. Everyone looks at each other with fear in their eyes. ‘What...? Don’t tell me.’
And that’s when Y/n figured it out, someone was tampering with her 3DMG! It was not just a coincidence after all. However, that left her feeling terrible. Levi could see that and that’s when he snapped when seeing just how hurt Y/n was.
“No one is leaving here till that disgusting shithead who is responsible comes out.” No one had really seen Corporal Levi like that, the atmosphere changed so bad that even Mike felt it without sniffing anything. ‘I said no trouble...cause I’m afraid of this.’
Everyone now started to back away and look towards the guy who was trying to hide in the middle between the scouts. Y/n quickly noticed that it was one of the main people in the scouts that really was bothering her and came to the conclusion after seeing his fearful face that he was the culprit indeed.
Levi didn’t need to guess who it was and went walking slowly, straight up to him. “Was it...You.” Now, Y/n was sure that guy might have probably taken a real shit right now. He started sweating so badly and then got to the floor. “I-I’m so sorry Corporal!!! I mean to..!” Levi looked down at him with such disgust. “You are indeed pathetic. I did notice your shitty behaviour lately. But to go this far...doing that to another comrade? No. You are no longer a trustworthy scout, let alone a decent citizen and I’m officially taking you out of the whole Training Corps.”
The tension was so high, that everyone backed away from Levi and the bully, who really started this whole problem. Y/n just stood there with sadness and confusion. Seems like she probably will never know why she was the one picked on, like always.

After a long day, Y/n was called into Levi’s office during the evening. She went over there and inside his office. Levi noticed immediately the sadness in her eyes and the change in her vibe. He wondered why, why was she still upset? Did they bother her afterwards? He was about to ask when.
“Why did you do that for me? Was it for the good of the scouts to remove someone who doesn’t collaborate with others or....was it for me?” With that last word, she looked up with tears in her eyes that made her eyes come out looking more beautiful than ever. He stood in front of her now, and slowly, gently grabbing her hand. He looked at her with a lot of affection this time. “Idiot. It was because I care for you.” Levi said it so quietly, as if he just wanted Y/n to hear it and no one else even though they were both alone in his office. But, he said it in a way that made him blush just slightly, he was definitely not used to talking in a way to make someone acknowledge how he cares for them but also....for someone who he seemed to like.
“I was from there too you know.” He said suddenly, “So I understand.” Levi was now softly wiping the tears that rolled down Y/n’s cheeks. Levi didn’t need to say more, nothing more. Just that look in his eyes and the feeling that they are both feeling right now. That Unknown feeling was reassuring and what Y/n only needed. Nothing else. Y/n then brought her arms around Levi’s shoulders and hugged him, she wanted to feel his warmth on this cold winter night and comfort for her heart that she never knew she needed till tonight. Levi, hugged her back tightly with affection around her waist, also needing some more warmth that night and they stood there, hugging each other while outside his office window, it started to finally snow.
note: okay, I’m glad to have posted this! I’m not sure if anyone will read it or like it but I felt the sudden urge to post it and it was on my mind lately! I’m also finally done with uni and taking a break, so I decided to come back to post this and see whoever wants to read it and enjoy it. The world is crazy atm and I hope whoever reads this gives themselves a break once in a while <3
Fanfic idea with Levi about him falling for a girl who’s more bubbly than him. She’s been into him since she met him but never thought she had a chance with him.

You had a naturally bubbly personality and always looked at the good side of things. Your ideals were to do everything always with love or not do it at all. So even if the outcome were bad you'd always consider it to be good because the intentions and efforts behind them were all that mattered.
When you two first met, you were warned that Levi was one cold man. So you decide to approach him accordingly but after meeting him you could see that this was just the way he was on the outside, his intentions were always good. Yes sometimes he might come off as cold and rude but ultimately it had a greater reason behind it.
Although you two had completely different ways of handling people you both understood each other and made the decisions with mutual understanding when it came to your teams.
Levi has never been the one to pay any attention to any love interest shown by anyone. After working with him for this long, it was clear to you. So you never really thought you'll ever get with him. But that doesn't mean you did not find yourself thinking about him constantly.
Every little thing he did was just so pure and out of care for his team even if it meant that he had to punish them every now and then. You also hated how he always distanced himself from everyone. You knew his past, Hange told you. After that you wanted to show him that the world is not that bad and now he is safe, he can let his guard down.
But the more you tried the more he resisted and pushed you away. But you were determined. Which he hated but you were not ready to give up. You knew nothing will come out of this for you but you selflessly wanted to help him even if it meant that he'll never end up with you.
His POV:
You scared the shit out of him. When he met you his first thought was, "Oh great another rainbow" like an insult. But slowly he started understanding that you were not that different from him. You stood up for your morals more than he ever dared to.
It was always an interesting meeting when you were there. You knew how to shut people up with your very gentle and logical answers and no one dared to cross you because it always meant being ultimately insulted intellectually. They knew you were not someone who would be swayed easily.
But what scared him was that he knew you could see right through his cold persona. He knew it because of the silent smiles you passed as Levi would order his team around because they have been lacking recently.
He hated how you just don't know when to give up! He never asked for the random favors you did for him. He never asked you to stop by and ask how his day was going. He never asked for those flowers when he came back from the successful survey mission.
He knew he was soft with you. He just wanted to let you know that these things were not why he was soft for you, it was because he saw why you were doing all these things for him.
But when you two came together it was a completely different scenario:
Levi, who everyone doubted if he was physically capable of smiling, cracks jokes around you. It took him time but slowly he started saying his jokes out loud when only you were there. He surprisingly had a good sense of humor, he just chose to say those jokes inside his head only.
As you two were getting closer he'd pay more attention to the things that you found interesting. Like you loved flowers but not the for the sake of them but rather loved to know the meaning behind them. So usually you'll get Rosses or Buckwheat and you secretly made a jar where you'd put them once they dried. He found that jar later and blushed really hard and then put it back where he found it.
He then decided to give you flowers of different colors to make sure that your jar was colorful and made you even happier.
Seeing you made him stand up for his morals as well. He never really was the one to pay much attention to them until and unless it affected him and his team but now he understood that he cannot really ignore everyone as well.
He is always so soft to you with the way he talks and treats you. Remember how you treated him before? Yea multiply it by 10 and that is how much of a queen treatment you get.
He also developed a habit of always making sure that he has some sort of physical contact with you to make sure that you were there. Once he wakes up from sleep his hand automatically searches for you on his side and gets a little worried when he cannot find you there. And don't get me started on the disappointment when he realises that you two were not sleeping together.

It'd been a hectic day. You were to sign a pile of reports of the latest expedition and submit them first thing in the morning. It was exasperating, the stack of paper didn't seem to come to an end soon. You've been working all day long without any rest, skipping lunch to catch up. Now you were not only exhausted, but hungry; and worst of all, you hadn't seen your Levi the whole day.
Suddenly, the door opened with a loud thud noise. Levi stomped into your office with a grouchy look on his face and flumped on your couch, arms crossed over his chest.
You chuckled at his childish demeanor, earning a glare from the raven-haired.
"Good evening, my love" You sweetly greeted ignoring his sulkiness, which made him draw his brows together even more. "You seem annoyed, what's wrong?" You tilted your head to the side with an innocent look on your face, pretending you didn't know the cause of his grumpy mood.
"Tsk"
"If you don't tell me what's going on I'm afraid I can't help" You shrugged and put the quill down. With your fingers interlaced, you stretched your arms out in front of you, then above your head before resuming your work.
Your attitude irked Levi even more, but he was still reluctant to speak. He pouted, jutting out his lower lip like an angry child. It was utterly embarrassing.
You were not giving in, though. You knew exactly why he had stormed in your office, but you wanted to hear it from him.
Levi sighed in frustration. His cheeks felt warmer and a shade of pink crept across his face. He turned his head to the opposite side avoiding your gaze and finally grumbled "I'm here for my daily dose of hugs and kisses"
Summary: Levi who is charge to take care of his kids, unintentionally make them sulk with him and so he tries to reconcile with them.

It was another normal weekend at the Survey Corps headquarters where the cadets would undergo training and doing chores while the higher-ups would finish their paperworks, creating plans and attending meetings. This morning, you left your twins with Levi who would spend his days in his office to fill up reports. You were called to attend a meeting with Commander Pixis and some of the higher ups from Garrison Regiment and Levi was gladly accepting his turn to take care of his kids inside his office thinking that there wasn’t much space for them to run around so it wouldn’t be a difficult task for him. Or at least that was what he thought.
At the moment, Levi was sitting on his office chair, his daughter on his lap and his son sitting on the table with a pen and a paper given by the father for him to do something to fill in the time. Levi had been sipping his hot tea for quite some time now and the little chubby hands of his daughter that had been attempting to reach out for his cup didn’t go unnoticed by his sharp eyes. Every time his daughter tried to reach for the cup, that was when he lifted his cup higher, not allowing her daughter to get what she wanted.
“No. You can’t drink this tea.” He warned her.
“But why...”, she pouted.
“You drank tea last time and then you had stomachache, remember?”.
“No. I don’t wemember.” She confidently answered while shaking her head making Levi to let out a deep sigh.
Levi’s daughter no longer tried to reach for the cup but instead chose to sigh loudly whenever her father took a sip, purposedly letting her father know how sad she was, for not being able to drink the tea. Of course, the captain noticed her passively aggresive attempt to try winning his heart but that only made him hid his smile behind the brim of the cup.
With one last sip, the tea was finished and Levi carefully put the empty cup on his office table where his daughter’s eyes followed closely. Noticing the empty cup, she immediately cried out of frustration and sadness which made both her father and twin brother to look up at her in confusion.
“I don wan fwen(friend) daddy,” she said as she got up and left her father’s lap, walking towards the window with her arms crossed. She stomped on the floor for every steps that she took making her chubby cheeks bounced every time, all while putting her lips in a long pout. Levi was too stunned with her daughter who seemed like starting to give him a cold shoulder that he didn’t notice his son had scribbled on his reports. The reports that was neatly written now had smiley faces, weird symbols that who knows what they meant and his son signatures. So, he immediately grabbed his reports as well as his other paperworks and put it somewhere else causing his son to cry. Great. That’s twins for you. One started to show tantrum and the other followed as well.
“Here here, you should draw on this paper. Not on mine.” He panickly tried to calm his son down while giving him the paper from earlier that was still clean. At the same time, he stole glances at her daughter, trying to think of a way to persuade her.
“NOOOoo. I wan MY paper!! I don wan this! What’s this?!,” his son started to cry louder and babbling some incoherent words that Levi was sure his son made them up all on their own.
“You can’t. That is MY paper. See, just draw on this.” He drew a few things on the paper while his son watched between his sobs.
“Look! I draw something on it. How about you try drawing on it as well?”, He suggested, trying to win his son but the little boy just gave him a infamous boring look.
“Daddy, what’s that? It’s ugly.” He commented on his father drawing. Levi tried his best not to roll his eyes. His son better be grateful because he was his son or else he would definitely stab the rudeness out of him.
“Tch, don’t be a bra--” Levi said but immediately got cut off with his son’s cry and his wailing saying his father didn’t love him entered his ears. Feeling absolutely clueless, he took his son into his arms while got up to walk to his daughter who was still pouting. From behind he could see the curves of her plumpy cheeks and quitely tried to approach the little girl with the same shiny black hair as him and her twin brother. Right now, Levi hugged both of his twins but they just didn’t seem to want a hug right now as they struggled to release their little bodies from their father’s strong grip.
Then suddenly the office door was knocked twice before the person barged in. The figure behind the door was Hange who was looking for you and the twins imeediately ran from their father towards her direction and each one of them hugged her long legs.
“Geeeeeee!~~,” the twins said her name.
“No no not gee, kids. It’s Han-ge.” She corrected them with a smile.
“Geee.” They repeated with a beam, showing their baby teeth.
“Okay try follow after me. Han?”
“Han”
“Ge?”
“Ge.”
“Okay, now try to say Hange.”
“Ge.” They repeated, eyes stared at the Section Commander.
“Ahhh that’s fine. Just Ge is fine, I guess.” She chuckled while patting their heads.
As she was leaving the room, the twins didn’t seem to want to let her legs go and they kept giggling as she walked. They looked way too happy from when they were hugged by their father and Levi noticed all of it.
“Sorry Hange, but can you take the kids forawhile? I know for sure they would start to scream and crying again if I take them off of your legs.”
“Yeah sure. I’ll be in my office when you need them.” She replied excitedly as she could spend more time with his cute kids.
“Thanks. I’ll take them back after I finish these paperworks.” He said remembering his reports that had been ‘corrected’ by his son.
“Okay kids, want to say goodbye to your dad?,” Hange said trying to get a reaction from the twins.
“Hmmph,” was the reply said in unison by the twin while moving their faces to avoid their father’s eyes.

Had Hange spent a few more moments in Levi’s office, she would able to meet you who dropped by to see your husband in his office. You walked towards the man with frowned eyebrows who was staring at you ever since you opened his office door.
“You okay?,” you asked with a concern. Levi was always wearing a serious face but this time, he looked seriously devastated.
“Those kids will be the end of me.” He replied with a sigh which caused you to giggle.
“No they won’t.” You said while placing his one hand in yours.
And so Levi told you everything that happen between him and his kids which made them sulking with him and you were paying your full attention towards his story all while smiling understandingly.
Later on, you walked beside Levi to Hange’s office and was greeted with a sight of your twins on her large table, your son had his cheeked stuff with baked potato and your daughter had bread. They looked....content, as expected. Upon noticing your arrival, the twins immediately grabbed you while wailing, dramatically letting you know how they don’t want to be friends with their dad and their dad don’t love them anymore and other sort of bratty things that only made Levi felt disappointed. You knew your kids well enough to say that they were just acting clingy and being overreacting and so you gave them a few words regarding their behaviour.

You were supposed to spend the evening with Hange regarding her experiments with Sawney and Bean. So she left you, Levi and the twins at her office to allow you guys to have some privacy as she would be waiting at the experiment site. Levi who just submitted the report and now had some free time, planned to spend the evening with the kids at the horse stable as an attempt to reconcile with them.
“I’m sorry I had to leave you again, see you tonight okay?,” You said to Levi as well as your son and daughter. You left a soft kiss on each of your twins fluffy cheeks while comforting them who were starting to cry since you were about to leave them with their father who they were sulking with.
“Have fun,” you whispered to Levi and leaving a long loving kiss on his cheeks. He said nothing but still gave you his handsome stare that never failed to bring butterflies in your stomach and grabbed the end of your Survey Corps jacket.
“Levi, I really need to get going.” You said with an apologetic tone and you placed one hand on top of his hand that was still had no sign of letting go of your jacket. You felt sorry for them because it was a busy week and you had to spend your weekend on works. You wished you could spend time altogether doing family things but that would abandon your duty and abusing the rank that was assigned to you.
“Tch.” He gave you one last hug, inhaling your scent and placed a sweet kiss on your forehead before letting you go to fulfill your duty.

Levi’s squad was present at the horse stable when he arrived. He also asked Jean to bring out his horse. The twins, refused to be carried by their father were walking on his sides. Usually their tiny hands would fit about two of their father’s fingers but since they were on cold war with their father, they just grabbed one of his fingers and only a small part of it as they were walking. Yeah, Levi noticed this too but chose to say nothing about it.
Levi greeted all the members of his squad and introduced them to his twins.
“This is Eren.” He pointed at the green-eyed boy with dark brown hair and the boy smiled eagerly at the twins.
“Eyen....,” the twins repeated.
“This is Mikasa.” He showed at the black hair girl with red scarf and Mikasa gave them a warm smile.
“Kasa......”
“This is Armin.” Indicating the blue-eyed boy with blonde hair.
“Min......”
“Hellooo~,” Armin greeted them with a huge beam.
“This is Sasha. You must remember her right, you used to steal her food.” Levi showed his twins the girl with ponytail who nodded her head at the little twins.
“Sha......”
“This is Connie.” The shaved headed man lowered his body to greet the twins and the twins immediately tried to reach his head.
“Connniie.......”.
Not long after that, Jean arrived with a black shiny horse, belonged to Levi. Wasting no time, Levi brought the twins closer to the horse as well as introducing his cadet to the kids.
“This is Jean.”
None of them repeated the said name like the other cadets. They just kept staring at Jean and then looked at the horse alternately, but said nothing. Then, they changed a confused look with each other.
“HAHA! Jean! Even the Captain’s kids knew your face looked like a horse!,” Eren suddenly chirped in and broke into laughter. (I love Jean ok, don’t get me wrong :p)
“HAAAAAAAA? Say that again?!! I don’t have a horse face you idiot!” And they started to quarrel for a short moment before they got silenced by their Captain’s simple “oioi”.
Levi brought both of his kids into his arms to the same level as the horse’s face. He encouraged his kids to try put their hands on its head, which they obliged silently. It did surprised Levi a bit over the fact that none of their kids showed any signs of fear of the horse and they seemed to bond pretty well in such a short amount of time. Then, he slowly put his twins on the horse saddle, the son was in the front and the daughter sat behind while hugging her brother tightly. A few soft taps on the horse, signalling the horse to start walking slowly while Levi walked beside it and ensuring his kids’ safety.
As the horse started to move, the kids giggled and their little body shivered with excitement. Levi, upon noticing this, felt relieved to able to hear his kids laugh again instead of crying and throwing tantrums like when they were in his office. He then calmly asked his kids not to laugh loudly all of a sudden and try to remain calm since a sudden noise could make a horse shocked and nervous which would be dangerous for them. So, his daughter placed one of her hands on her mouth while keep giggling while her brother hunched his body, putting both of his fists on his chest as if the feeling of enjoy was too much for his tiny body.
“Hey, open your eyes.” Levi said to his son, slightly worried that his son might actually felt scared. “Are you scared?,” he asked. The said boy immediately opened his eyes and vigorously shook his head.
“I’m happyyyy,” he broke into a huge smile that made his cheeks pushed his eyes to closed again.
Levi shook his head softly and chuckled with his kids’ reactions. And so the dad and his two twins keep circling around the training field under the evening sky with his horse for multiple rounds as his twins would keep saying “daddy again, daddy again” whenever the horse stopped forawhile and who could decline the wishes of the Captain’s cute twins? No one. They also started to become cheerful around their father again, much to Levi’s pleasure.
“I never thought there comes a day where I am able to see the Captain’s soft side.” Jean said while eyes following the said figure with the horse.
“I never thought Captain had a soft side actually.” Connie replied.
“You guys.... Captain is a human afterall. Of course he would have a soft side.” Armin joined, showing his support on his respected Captain.
As the time passed by, the twins became quieter and Levi knew that was a sign that his kids were starting to feel tired so he decided to bring back the horse to its stable and he would return the chamber to bath his kids that were now all sweaty and dusty.

“HEHhee Daddy that tickles!”, the little boy said while laughing as his dad was trying to soap his armpit.
“Okay, you wash that yourself.” Levi said while smiling. Right now, he was sitting on a small tool inside the bathroom with only a towel around his waist, both of his kids were fully naked as he was on duty to give his kids a bath, making sure they were extremely clean before going to bed.
“Daddy, I want white head as well,” his daughter said, referring to his brother’s head that was covered with shampoo foam.
“Okay come here.”
“Daddy! I want to wash your back”
“Daddy, why is your back so bumpy?”
“It’s muscle”
“What’s mushel (muscle)?”
“Daddy! I want to wash your hair!”
“Okay. Use that shampoo.”
“Poopoo? Euwww daddy poopooooo.”
“No, I said shampoo.” Levi broke into smile, trying to stiffle his laugh. His bath time this evening had been so cheerful thanks to his kids that were now came in good terms again with him. He felt warmth all over his body despite being shirtless inside a bathroom and he was definitely content, having tiny hands rubbing and soaping his body, taking care of him while attacking him with all sorts of questions, none that annoyed him since everything about his kids were just criminally adorable.
“I love you”, he suddenly blurted out perhaps due to being overwhelmed with joy.
“I wuv you too, daddy”
“Yeah, I wuuv you too”
Levi just chuckled upon hearing his twins’ answers, and smiled warmly at each one of them, including the person who was peeking quietly behind the door--you. The “I love you”, smiles and chuckles were not entirely just for his kids, but for you as well and you knew it. It was expected for the kids to not notice you, who had been peeking and resting your head at the door frame since their backs were facing you and were too busy washing their father while asking this and that.
The sight of your handsome husband lovingly giving bath to your kids and having your cute naked babies returning the favor to their dad really helped in making your day felt better despite it was pretty hectic and stressful in the beginning. It was these kind of days that made you felt grateful for being alive, and thankful for the decisions that you made in life especially the one that having Levi to be yours.
So, you returned the warm smile with a loving one and mouthing back “I love you more.”
The next few days were okay-ish since nothing happened with Eren. You were kind of disappointed that you didn't get to see him turn into a titan. You knew this wasn't some game and this was not about whether you get to play Titans or not, this was a serious topic.
But living here has made your day so empty because back at the HQ you'd be busy the entire day with cases but here everything that comes within the radius of Eren is being checked and monitored so you don't get that many cases sent your way.
Plus you have been monitoring the experiments that Hange is doing on him and none of them led anywhere.
You were happy that now at least you're getting some sleep during the day because you just CANNOT sleep at night. Not even in your house let alone a castle. So this one night you decided to get something warm to help you sleep. You saw some guards sitting outside the dungeon where Eren was kept. They got up to salute you but you quickly asked them to be at ease.
You appreciated how dedicated and true to their words Scouts were. You never need to cross-check anything with them like with MPs.
As you reached the mess haul you could hear some voices. You wondered why are people up at this hour? As you got closer to the gate you could hear them a little. You didn't want to eavesdrop but you wanted to know who it was since you were trying to avoid Levi's cold gaze.
"What is she even doing here? All she does is fool around all day while we are here working our asses off." said one voice. "Oh to be an official. What does she have over Zachary anyways? I've seen how he was looking over her the entire time we were there as if she is the one who was making the decisions?" "I'm sure they are up to something. She really has him in her palm, doesn't she? I mean she is hot we cannot deny that..." They continued talking but you decided it was better to walk away. This was not the first time you heard things like that.
"Leaving so early? They were just getting to the best part." said a familiar voice from behind you. You looked over and it was HIM. Distress was clear on your face. You didn't say anything and turned back around and walked back to your room. You could feel his sharp gaze following you.
One thing was clear, it was easy working with Scouts because they are true to their words but they were the same as others. Always daunting on the fact that you get to live a more comfortable life than them. Only if they knew. It was all the shiny parts that they were able to see. But you didn't blame them for it.
A few days passed and you were all having lunch outside this afternoon in the experiment grounds. You were taking updates from Levi and Hange about the progress in the experiments because till now, Eren was not able to turn at all. And then it happened.
With a loud strike of an electric bolt and a HUGE figure emerged out of thin air. As the smoke dispersed you could see it clearly. So this is what a titan looked like. Levi took you by the hand and pulled you away from it, "Are you trying to get yourself killed?" he shouted. But it was all a background noise, for the thing you see right now, is a miracle.
Within a second everyone had their swords out and pointed toward Eren's titan form. Wait, did they not believe him too? If so, then this could be a problem. As if Levi heard your thoughts he barged and tried to stop them. Continuously checking your expressions too. He knew that this is not going to look in the reports and could be a huge setback for the entire situation.
After all of that was sorted you went back to your room to complete some work. None of them stayed to talk to you, they knew they messed up. Even Hange gave you a weak smile that clearly said, "Please don't mess this up for us"It was late at night when you went to the mess hall to pass some time. It was on the first floor and had the best view.
As you entered you were happy that there was no one so you helped yourself with some warm water and sat near the window looking at the stars. "Do you ever sleep?" it was him again. Your situation with him was very weird because you can feel his eyes are always on you and when you look back he pulls them away. If it was someone else, you could have considered the possibility that they were into you but his gaze is always just so cold and empty, this could never be a possibility with him."No. But you don't either do you? We always cross paths at night" you said with a smile trying to act cool when you're VERY nervous. His expression changed a bit then went back to cold. "I might almost think that you're following me or something. Do you worry that I might do something to Eren?" you said now jokingly but half curious to know his answer.
He just went ahead and started making some tea and replied with his back towards you, "I have better things to do." You scanned his body from up and down. This was the first time you could have a good look at him. He sure was muscular and those straps only enhanced it. Not even a single crease on this shirt even though he had his sleeves folded.
As you were checking him out you realized that he can see you through the kitchen glass door and he was doing just that.
You turned your back to him again as if nothing happened when on the inside you were contemplating jumping out of the window now.
Both of you were silent until he leaned over from your back and put a cup of tea in front of you. You flinched a little which he DID notice but you acted cool.
"Tha--nks." you thanked him thinking he'll keep it there and walk away but to your surprise he sat down next to you with his back against the window.
You looked at him surprised wanting an explanation for sudden kindness but what he said next just made you stutter like an idiot. "You'll get a better view like this." He said with a smirk.
"I- No no no no that's not it I-" you said waving your hand in front of your face. "You?" he said leaning close to your face. You just sat there like a statue and hoped that he'll disappear right then and there.
He just scoffed and leaned back again, "I'm just messing with you. You're my superior why are you always so scared of me?"
