Abt the whole Valko thing, I wrote something in the official server that I’m gonna post here as well jic something happens.

Honestly my main worry is the legal side of things as there was a VERY small but vocal group that got the Chinese state involved. I feel like the pressure was more political/legal than because of money.

Honestly this is messed up an all sides imo. This isn’t the first time that one of infold’s games got sent downhill due to political reasons. Lads’ predecessor (MLQC) had an issue in 2021 where one of the VAs was fired due to an accidental political message. I doubt he knew that what he said would result in him being fired, but Chinese laws would have destroyed the company had they not fired him. This drama resulted in a large percentage of people leaving the game and all of the VAs quitting the game (two in good graces with the company, two in bad graces) and being replaced. The game went steadily until they had to make the change to partial voice acting, but still did not make enough money. The game went EOS this March.

Right now, the issue, just like last time, is the lack of communication from infold. Rather than fully explaining their decision with something as simple as “Due to legal matters we cannot move forward with Valko” they try to keep it vague. Now the community is split between people blaming infold and people blaming the CN girlies when I feel like it’s more nuanced than that.

Yes infold is an greedy company but unlike most of their decisions this doesn’t feel like it was done purely because of money. Their office building was sent literal manure which is a huge health hazard and people were wishing death to them via the chrysanthemums. There were news reports on them, a detail in-game that was there for a while was suddenly the main point of attention. But they could and should have done more. Their PR team is shit

There are some CN girlies who are celebrating Valko’s removal, but others are grieving just like us. The people who harassed infold were very few, but even 10 can raise an eyebrow. Blaming all of them will be just as toxic and cruel when the vast majority are actual well adjusted people

Rather than placing the blame onto one group (CN Girlies, Infold, etc) it’s important for us to work together to try and solve this. Send emails, sign petitions, write posts, etc. Don’t spread hate.

But above ALL else make sure to focus on yourselves. I sincerely doubt this issue will be solved in the next 24h. If this really stresses you out then take a step back from social media (especially twt, it’s a dumpster fire over there. Saw one person call another brain dead for liking Valko and blamed both Valko and infold for all of this. I will not be including them in the sources to not cause unnecessary drama). Take care of yourselves, drink water, go to sleep, cry if you need to, engage in other hobbies, etc. Your mental health is more important than this game. If you can’t take action without worsening your own mental health then don’t

Lads will not reach EOS any time soon. They were able to keep MLQC running for 5 years, I know they’ll try their best to keep it alive from a functionality point of view.

Infold, if you’re somehow reading this, a small update could calm things down. Legally, idk how much you can say, but even a simple “Dear Hunters, We cannot discuss all of our reasons behind everything due to current legal matters. We apologize for any stress caused by our recent announcement. Here’s a code for (idk how much I personally think 50 pulls in dias in case ppl wanna spend it on something else)”. And if you can say more, PLEASE say more. The biggest issue right now is your vagueness tearing the community apart. We do not want a repeat of MLQC

it’s far past midnight when he meets you in the library… even after you told him not to…

He knocks at the door of the study room, your gaze immediately pulled from the endless pile of journals. It was a just a midterm paper, and yet you had pushed it off over the past three weeks in favor of parties and late night with Steve. Steve who had now brought you coffee and a bagel from the student union when you had told him earlier day that you couldn’t see him again until after exam week passed.

Steve hums as he enters the enclosed space, “someone is hard a work in here.”

“Steve,” you can’t fight the smile that spread across your face, “It’s late and I thought your house had a mixer tonight.”

He sets the brown pastry bag and to-go coffee cup in the minimal free space on the desk. But then your eyes linger over his outfit; a white button down with the sleeves rolled up to his elbow, khaki pants, and a loose red tie around his neck.

He doesn’t answer your silent question - he doesn’t need to. Yet, still you ask.

“Did you come here from the mixer?” Your eyes flick over his attire again.

He’s silent again as he settles down in the empty chair across from you. No words are exchanged, but he gives you a small shrug.

“Steve,” you lightly chide, “You should be asleep. You have an 8 am stats midterm.”

Steve leans forward and takes your free hand in his own. Fingers brush together with light caresses as his voice comes out softer than either of you expects, “Had to check in on my girl. Even if she blew off my mixer to Study.”

You give him a tight lipped grin as you gently squeeze his fingers, “Thanks for the coffee.”

“Don’t mention it.”

I will not ever apologize for speaking my truth and saying I 100% believe Harumasa is absolutely, positively clingy as a partner.

So long as you two are together, he'll whine and pout damn near like a child any time he has to be separated from you. Can you really blame him though? He can't ever really say he knows how long he has left, so every single second he could be spending with you is of practically life-and-death importance to him; it isn't his fault he has to be so clingy! Besides, any reasonable person that loves their partner should want to be around them often, right?

That in mind, he will take literally any excuse he can to have you by his side. Well, as long as he's not at work anyway, he can't exactly take you to work with him, all things considered. So long as he's off work and you aren't at work yourself though, he's practically gotta be with you all the time. You need to do a grocery run? No matter what condition he's in, he'll try to come with you. Going to get lunch with a friend? He insists that surely they'd be fine with your oh so sweet boyfriend being there too. You want to go see a movie at the cinema for once instead of watching it at home way after it releases? Well, he just has to go with you; you'll have to forgive him if he falls asleep halfway through the movie though...

What he enjoys the most though are your shared days in. He absolutely loves getting to just stay home with you all day. Even if the day is full of nothing but basic, mundane activities, he's perfectly content. Just having you there is more than enough for him. So long as you're there he can kiss, cuddle, and bug you as much as he wants! There's also the plus of having you there to play doctor for him if he gets to feeling unwell, which he certainly prefers to having to deal with real doctors. It's all a win for him! He doesn't have to go anywhere and you're right there with him!

Under circumstances where you can't be with him in person for a while for whatever reason, he may very well insist on, at the least, texting back and forth regularly if not staying on a phone call with you while you're apart. Makes him feel less lonely and a lot less worried about you, because believe me, he worries. He worries a lot. Ironic as it is, he gets concerned that something bad is going to happen to you while he's not there. Probably just as concerned as you get about him on the regular, if not somehow more actually??? Please don't let him worry too hard, it might make him feel sicker than usual. :(

No matter what, so long as you're dating Harumasa, you'd better be prepared to be spending a lot of quality time with him. <3

I still don’t know what I’m doing, but I do know this:

I’m writing married HoshiKaf. They’re so in love, it’s disgusting. /pos

Kafka owns a small bar. Hoshina owns a cafe.

Kaiju and Kaiju powers still exist, but it’s kind of a Kekkai Sensen situation (they’re coexisting). Which means Kafka is still Kaiju no. 8.

Kafka failed his third exam in this AU, after which Mina set him up with Hoshina. Presumably, they met during Kafka’s exam.

Hoshina left the defense force to get married. In a twist not even I saw coming, Kafka was the one who popped the question.

I never knew I needed domestic married HoshiKaf buying groceries and Kafka making nikujaga (a Japanese beef and potato dish), but god am I glad I’m writing it.

Also, all of this is kinktober, proving once again that I cannot just write kinktober. It’s stupid and fluffy and I realllllly hope the HoshiKaf nation enjoys this stupidity (again /pos).

Giddy, screaming in my pillow, kicking my feet because just imagine your fav’s warm chest under your ear… burying your face in his shirt… taking in his scent… smiling against his skin at the lazy way he draws his fingers up and down your spine, an action that both soothes you and makes you nuzzle deeper into his chest like you could make a home in the cavern of his ribs because you feel all fluttery and warm; nervous but in a fun, schoolgirl kind of way

Thinking about his hand on your hip, heavy and warm over the fabric of your sleepwear as you look up at him with a soft, content expression feeling all sorts of mushy and gummy and sweet because he’s got a life to live and probably a few things to do, yet he chose cuddling here with you and you feel like you don’t deserve it but you’re staying here all the same.

Alrighty, meant to do this last night but then I got a migraine and my power went out and I was the family workhorse today lol

But we're back with more fluff thoughts!

All of the boys (Robby, Jack, and Pope) would cry if they saw you walking down the aisle at your wedding. Robby would be the type to cry with a big smile, tears just falling down his face as he tries to wipe it away, those big brown eyes looking so pretty. Jack would try to fight back the tears as he watches you with a tight lipped smile, his lip quivering, eyes brimmed with tears. Pope would be one of two ways depending on who's there, if it's really only the two of you or some really close friends then he would be nearly full body sobbing, his chest hiccupping as he tries not to look a mess, tears streaming down his cheeks, lips quivering, his hazel eyes just STUCK on you to the point that he doesn't even care if he's nearly shaking as he shifts on his feet because he never thought he could ever get this, that someone would ever love him for him, or want him at all but you do. If his family is there though or people he's not comfortable with, he wouldn't fully cry but definitely almost, his eyes would be all red and glassy, his face flushed, his hands opening and closing into fists as he watches you walk, just needing you up there close to him, close enough to touch, to remind himself you're really there doing this and want to be with him.

Jack - I definitely think he'd play some kind of rec league softball at some point, and you would be there cheering him the whole time. He would love it so much, a big ole cocky grin on his face as he pitches fast balls and strikes people out. When it's all over he comes up to you all red and sweaty from the sun, wrapping his arms around you as he kisses all over your face while you laugh because he knows you hate when he hugs you when he's all wet with sweat. He just enjoys riling you up

Robby - definitely would gift you annotated copies of book with his every thought and detail in it. He would add little bits about what reminds him of you in it too, all written in his barely legible chicken scratch but you love it because it's so him. He would also make sure to get you flowers every week, going to the farmers market on Sunday's to get you a new bouquet.

Pope - When with this man you would never lift a finger. He would pump your gas, change your oil, wash your car, all of the things around the house you haven't gotten to. And you would never have to ask him for it, he would just do it. One time when you tried to pump your own gas he gave you that scowl and was like "What do you think you're doing?" all deep and raspy. You would come home from work and the dishes you meant to do would be done, sponge on the window sill, the laundry would be done and folded with surgical precision and placed in your drawers, your blinds all open, the house filled with sun. He wouldn't even live with you but would still do it all just because he wanted to, just because he wanted to show you how much he appreciates and loves you.

Let's talk wedding thoughts: all of them crying as we walk down the aisle better be true or I'm turning around. Robby can freely cry with those big beautiful brown eyes!!! Jack would fight back tears!!!! The fact that there's 2 scenarios for Pope's to go!!!! Both have me ready to sob because I need to protect him!!!
