was kinda skimming through the first two episodes and i did find it interesting that even when he essentially can't stand joo inah, kijun still does lowkey respect her work ethic in some ways. i might be misremembering but i did appreciate how he never actively speaks ill about her he's more frustrated about his demotion to being a pm handler
don't get me wrong he absolutely was arrogant and needed to be taken down a peg or two but i do like how a seed of kijun's deep respect and admiration of how inah carries out her professional duties was there from the start he just was more focused on the fact that she kept lowkey (deservedly) bullying him lol
#like the more i think about it the more i do appreciate the character writing in this show#i've seen people say kijun is inconsistent but i really don't see anything that is particularly hard to understand#he's someone who's used to getting everything he wants and being the apple of everyone's eye#so when he comes across someone who can't seem to stand him he's flustered#flummoxed even#completely loses his cool#and starts acting out in ways he generally doesn't#it's interesting that for good or bad it's truly inah who can set him off like that#first when she took his smooth sailing life off the rails#and then when he fell for her and realized he'd do practically anything for this woman#been trying to figure out why kijun as a character works so much for me as a romcom lead#and it's mostly because of how clearly he feels his emotions i'd say#even the negative ones#sorry this lowkey became another ramble#but yeah i miss them can you tell#filing for love#ffl#joo inah#noh kijun
