“i’d let jinki take it in a heartbeat. he’s the baby of the group, not me. people place too much value on the title sometimes and think that, because i’m the maknae, i have to be cute, i have to do cute shit, and i can’t exactly say no to the fans at times, so it just kinda sucks then, but for the most part it’s not too different. except when the group babies me, but i think it’s the cheeks, not the title.”

“daein’s wild because it’s like he wants me to act my age and have a good time, but the second i do, it’s ‘you shouldn’t be acting like this, you’re the youngest.’ i don’t get it, frankly — he treats me like i’m still the kid i was at debut and that’s really hard sometimes because i’ve grown a lot since then — not physically, obviously. i know his heart’s in the right place and i appreciate it sometimes, but mostly, i wish he’d cut it out, you know?”
