the steven parable

the steven parable (2023) is a "goncharovisation"* of hit popular videogame "the stanley parable". it revolves around the supposed existence of an entity named "steven", who served as an accompanying figure to the titular "stanley" and grew to foster a loving relationship with him through certain routes.

this "steven" would serve to have a role in practically every major ending- for example, he is supposed to have featured in a cutscene in the wasteland of the "skip button ending", as well as lived with stanley in certain iterations of the "apartment ending" (which was modified to include the command "press c to kiss steven", though the game resets before it can come to fruition.)

there is also a "steven ending", though details on what that ending features are largely unclear. unused voicelines and character designs are also supposed to have detailed a wedding scene between stanley and steven, which the narrator was to officiate, and a daughter named "angelica" the two were to foster.

this ending is supposed to have been scrapped for time a day before the release of TSP:UD as the scene and plotting largely remained unfinished.

* "goncharovisation" comes from the title "goncharov", the name of a fictional scorsese movie created wholly and cultivated by popular social media website "tumblr"**. it refers to the act of making up fictional characters and events, and acting or behaving like these were real occurrences, rather than concepts made up secondary to real occurrences.

go to europe (sleep on trains draw strangers wander through open fields see grampa dance a lot hike through cities drink good cheap wine), make a map of every sacred place i've been to, revisit the enchanted forest, feel whole and holy at fort reno, work or live on a farm for a bit, get my ears pierced, get a stick n poke of “17″ or a shooting star, get my license but bike and walk everywhere, design new clothes and sell them, daydream on my roof for hours, go on food adventures, visit haunted places, tend to the garden, press flowers and make flower tattoos, spend time with the people that matter, find fields and forests with magic in them to walk in with friends, picnic, make s’mores, walk through thunderstorms, walk through the night, make a girl band, fall in love or in SOMETHING, hold rituals to harness the power of the summer and stop time, make potions, make a movie and/or a graphic novel that encapsulates my time here, publish my archive of high school journals as a zine, hold dance parties
