Not a multi-chaptered fic, but I did have plan to make it into a series and write a few more one-shots in this universe. It’s still on the table, but I don’t have much time to write these days. Soon, I hope!

SQUAWK

Corrigan is walking through a dark factory. Fallen are known to be in here, he’s tasked to find the Archon and see if they’ve made refuge. He takes slow steps

Thud... scitter scitter scitter... Thud... scitter scitter scitter... Thud... scitter scitter scitter...

For every step he takes he hears fallen movement all around him. He holds his pulse rifle close and takes a deep breath. He hears scittering and the scratching of the fallen nearby. He turns around. They’re behind him. He hears them

Closing in coming in rushing him he walks back in near complete blackness. It’s dark and hes terrified. He holds his breath each step made softly and carefully.

SQUAAAAAAWK

A loud noise rings through the factory and he falls to his back and fires in random directions. He looks down and sees this yellow creature that made the noise whatever it the fallen are terrified of it. He looks closer. It’s... it’s a toy

He picks it up and squeezes it. SQUAWK the Fallen can be heard running away. He laughs to himself and decided to see what he can do with this. He begins running through the factory squeezing it over and over dregs running in fear screeching and climbing up the walls Vandals doing no better. He corners a captain who’s curled up into a ball shrieking in fear. Suddenly he hears a large roar as an archon yells out.

Corrigan slowly turns around and there it towers over him. He gives the toy a squeeze and the Archon steps back. He squeezes again and the Archon again steps back. Soon the factory is full of the sounds of squawking and the laughter of corrigan as he chases this giant Fallen with this toy. Unfortunately a brave dreg threw a grenade. Rupturing the poor rubber chicken. Corrigan stands there before the Archon and smiles. He squawks one before the Archon picks him up and takes him outside and throws him out.

Somehow Corrigan thought he heard the Fallen talking in a very bad Mexican accent. Something about the “House of Diablos” he just pulled a ghost and made a report.
